The female soldier did not react, and Luo Zheng couldn't take it anymore. For the first time in his life, he ran so fast, yet he was mocked as a snail. He immediately shouted coldly and loudly, "Scum, if you have the guts, hit your grandpa first. Bullying a woman, what kind of hero are you? If you have the guts, come out and fight me one-on-one. If you don't, you're a coward."

After waiting for a while with no response, Luo Zheng knew that provocation wouldn't work on these people. Running out like this definitely wouldn't do. What he considered a good speed might not be enough in the eyes of these experts. They didn't shoot to avoid exposing themselves. By the time he finished speaking, they had probably already moved to a new hiding spot. What should he do?

Suddenly, Luo Zheng remembered something from before he joined the military. When facing a cunning prey, if traps and tricks didn't work, the best method was to show bravery and see who dared to risk their life. He was insignificant in the eyes of the enemy, and even if he exposed himself, they wouldn't dare to shoot easily because there was a female soldier with godlike shooting skills behind him.

"Die or live, I'll give it a shot." Luo Zheng glanced at the female soldier, who was hidden nearby, but she was already gone. Luo Zheng was sure she wouldn't abandon him and retreat. He shouted loudly, "Scum, your grandpa is coming out. Let's fight one-on-one. If you don't have the guts, hide like a coward." As he spoke, he slowly walked out from behind the tree, staring nervously ahead.

After about two seconds, no one shot. Luo Zheng knew he had made the right bet. His courage grew, and he continued walking forward without seeking cover. If the enemy wanted to shoot, he would have been dead several times already. Thinking of his fallen comrades, Luo Zheng's eyes turned blood red, and he shouted, "Coward, come out, bastard. If you have the guts, come and kill me."

Suddenly, Luo Zheng felt a blur in front of him, and a pair of large feet kicked him in the chest. He had no time to react, feeling himself fly through the air and crash into the tree, rolling to the ground. He heard two gunshots, and a large mouthful of blood spewed from his lips. His only thought was, "What fast feet," and then everything went black.

After an unknown amount of time, Luo Zheng slowly regained consciousness and woke up. He felt a burning pain in his chest. Opening his eyes, he saw he was still in the forest, under a tree, with no one around. A gunshot echoed from a distance, but then there was nothing.

"Hisss—" Luo Zheng moved his body, feeling as if his chest was about to split open. He smiled bitterly. In the face of absolute strength, he was powerless. Fortunately, the family breathing technique could help him recover quickly. Otherwise, this kick would have left him either dead or crippled. These people were so strong. Who were they? Looking up at the sky, he saw it was gradually getting dark. Gunshots occasionally echoed from deep within the forest, and the battle was still ongoing.

Thinking about this, Luo Zheng knew he had to recover quickly. The night in the primeval forest was even more terrifying. He struggled to sit on the ground and began practicing the family breathing technique. Gradually, after about half an hour, the burning pain in his chest eased, and his breathing became smoother. Luo Zheng vaguely felt his recovery ability had improved.

After a while, Luo Zheng felt much better. He touched his chest, grateful for the family breathing technique passed down through generations, which had indeed strengthened his recovery ability. Looking around, he soon found a body not far away. Luo Zheng slowly walked over and saw a Westerner, blue-eyed and high-nosed, with a bullet through his heart.

"Karma, well-deserved." Luo Zheng guessed the female soldier had done it and cursed with satisfaction. Seeing a pistol on the body, he quickly pulled it out and searched the body, finding two magazines. His eyes caught a familiar army dagger in the man's boot.

Luo Zheng took it out and saw it was the familiar 65-style army dagger, a cherished item of the squad leader, with a "Hai" character engraved on it, a military merit reward from a superior. Luo Zheng had borrowed it many times and wouldn't mistake it. He immediately realized this was the murderer of his comrades, and his anger exploded.

"Indeed, the murderer." Luo Zheng stood up in anger, his face so dark it seemed to drip with water. He took a few steps and stopped, returning to the murderer. He quickly stripped off the man's camouflage, combat uniform, and boots, which were a bit big but still wearable.

After putting on the enemy's equipment, Luo Zheng smeared mud on his face, feeling it was enough. He kicked the body hard and walked toward the direction of the gunshots, rubbing his chest to recover. With the enemy in front, he was determined to seek revenge, his eyes blood red, with only one thought in his mind: revenge.

After walking for a while, the gunshots became clearer. Luo Zheng thought that with the enemy's equipment, he wouldn't have to worry about being shot. Even if he did, the difference in strength was too great, and any attempt to hide would be a joke. He decided to go directly and act as the situation demanded.

Perhaps because of the equipment, Luo Zheng walked all the way to the forest where the two sides were exchanging fire. He could see bullets flying but couldn't see where the people were hiding. He found a place to hide, turned on the safety of the pistol, and, though he couldn't use advanced weapons, he understood the relatively simple structure of the pistol.

After observing for a while, Luo Zheng noticed two people shooting in one direction, while only one person was shooting back. He made a judgment and immediately moved toward the two shooters, using the method taught by the female soldier, landing his feet in the dead angles formed by three trees.

A gunshot rang out, and Luo Zheng used the sound to determine the enemy's approximate hiding spot, which was only about twenty meters away. Without being injured, he couldn't do anything to the enemy, and now with his injuries, rushing in would be suicide. He had a sudden idea and decided to wait for the enemy, quickly finding a suitable place to hide.

Luo Zheng knew that these battle-hardened experts were very sensitive to the presence of danger. To avoid being detected, he used the family breathing technique, imagining himself as part of the tree. Gradually, his breathing became slow and steady. He closed his eyes slightly, using his peripheral vision to observe the front and focusing on the enemy's position, ignoring the surrounding gunshots.

He didn't know how long it had been, perhaps a minute, perhaps three minutes, or even longer. A barely perceptible footstep sounded, and Luo Zheng knew the enemy was coming. He didn't move. To hunt, Luo Zheng had once lain in the snow for three hours, waiting until the prey walked past before shooting.

At this critical moment, to seek revenge, Luo Zheng's potential was fully unleashed. He remained motionless, silently judging the distance of the enemy, counting the steps, and calculating the distance between them.
