Chu Ying chattered incessantly on the way, but the policewoman ignored him, citing that she couldn't talk while driving. Chu Ying had no choice but to shut up, though he did learn her name, Wen Jing, from her.

However, no matter how Chu Ying looked at her, he couldn't find a trace of gentleness in this girl. Her driving speed was like a whirlwind, drawing frequent glances from passersby. The Hummer itself was a rather showy car, and perhaps there was only one in the entire Qingshan Town. Its owner being a policewoman inevitably aroused people's curiosity.

Policewoman Wen Jing, however, remained focused. The car soon arrived at the foot of Dachangshan Mountain. At this moment, Wen Jing's phone rang. She simply said, "I know, I'll be right back," and hung up.

"I have something to do and need to go back immediately. You can go up the mountain by yourself!" Wen Jing's expression was somewhat annoyed.

Chu Ying complained, "Hey, Jingjing, my old bones can't take this kind of abuse. At the very least, you should take me to the top of the mountain, right?"

"Stop talking nonsense and get out of the car quickly!" Wen Jing's tone was unfriendly.

Chu Ying laughed and said, "Is there anything I can help you with?"

Wen Jing replied, "Getting out of the car now is the best help you can give me!"

Chu Ying grumbled a few times and helplessly shook his head. Although he didn't understand women very well, he knew that it was best not to persuade them when they were angry, as it would only make them angrier.

Wen Jing made a face and drove away.

At that moment, a car came down the mountain. It was his severely damaged Wuling Hongguang, and the driver was even more surprising—Ling Siyi.

"You have to pay for the gas if you drive my car!" Seeing the car stop in front of him, Chu Ying quickly climbed in.

Ling Siyi just snorted coldly. Before Chu Ying could sit down, the car had already started, and its speed was no less than Wen Jing's Hummer.

Chu Ying sneered, "He's in for it now, daring to offend my woman!" He paused slightly and asked softly, "Where do you plan to go?"
