The night passed without a word. The next day, Wang Yang was the first to wake up, feeling incredibly relaxed and comfortable. He quietly got up, not disturbing the other three who were still resting, and left the emergency building. He began jogging outside. With a bandage on his head and a faint trace of blood, he attracted quite a few people around him. As he ran, Wang Yang left the hospital and wandered the unfamiliar streets of the county town, running in any direction. He felt particularly good and wasn't worried about getting lost. The county town wasn't large, and he could always ask for directions to find the hospital.
"Guesthouse?"
After about ten minutes, Wang Yang suddenly stopped and looked at a building by the roadside. This was the county guesthouse. Remembering that Mr. Sun had mentioned they were staying here, Wang Yang felt a bit hesitant.
Mr. Sun could be considered his savior. His performance yesterday was indeed poor, and he should go to thank him. Most importantly, what he discovered about Mr. Sun yesterday had now been confirmed. He was certain that Mr. Sun was indeed poisoned, and the poisoning was severe, posing a constant threat.
Wang Yang wasn't a great person, but he wasn't a bad one either. Even if it wasn't his savior, he couldn't remain indifferent to such a situation. At the very least, he should give a warning.
However, he wasn't sure how to bring it up. He couldn't just tell Mr. Sun, "You've been poisoned by a chronic toxin, and it's very severe. You're about to die." If he did that, it would be rude, and Mr. Sun might even scold him for cursing him.
"Xiao Wang, what are you doing here?"
As he was thinking, someone suddenly walked out of the guesthouse, dressed in sportswear, apparently also planning to exercise. This person was none other than Mr. Sun, whom Wang Yang had just been thinking about how to visit. Mr. Sun also seemed to be going out to exercise, and he was alone.
"Mr. Sun, I'm out jogging. What a coincidence, I was just thinking about whether you might be staying here, and you came out!" Wang Yang hurried over.
"Exercising early in the morning is good, but you were so badly injured yesterday. You should be resting today!"
Mr. Sun smiled and shook his head. He had a deep impression of Wang Yang, not because of his behavior yesterday, but because Wang Yang had personally treated his first injury. If Wang Yang were a doctor, Mr. Sun would be his patient, and his first patient.
"It's fine, I'm okay. I've already been running for a while."
Wang Yang jogged in place to prove himself. Seeing that he was indeed fine, Mr. Sun didn't say more. The two began running together, but Mr. Sun slowed down significantly to accommodate Wang Yang.
"Mr. Sun, I learned some face reading when I was young. Would you like me to take a look?"
After running for less than half an hour, the two sat on a bench in the park to rest. Wang Yang wiped the fine sweat from his face and whispered to Mr. Sun. He had been thinking about how to warn him all the way. Since a direct approach wouldn't work, he decided to take a roundabout way, saying he could read faces, at least to make Mr. Sun believe him.
After reading the faces of his three friends yesterday, Wang Yang no longer doubted his ability. If he was wrong, Mr. Sun might not be poisoned, which would be a good thing.
"Sure, go ahead and take a look!"
Mr. Sun smiled, not knowing what Wang Yang was thinking. He was just interested in seeing what Wang Yang would say. He had consulted face readers before, such as when building a house or moving his company.
Wang Yang leaned in and carefully examined Mr. Sun's face. The two green lines from yesterday were still there, and they had become even darker, indicating that the poisoning had accelerated.
When these two green lines turned completely black, a third green line would appear, marking the end of Mr. Sun's life.
"Mr. Sun, you must have many brothers, and you all get along well, right?" After a moment, Wang Yang asked casually.
"That's right. We have five siblings in total, which is quite a lot. We all get along very well!" Mr. Sun chuckled. People of his age often had many siblings, as the era encouraged large families. It wasn't surprising that Wang Yang could guess this.
"Mr. Sun, you're not being honest. You have more than five siblings. You should have another brother who isn't living with you."
Wang Yang smiled lightly. This time, Mr. Sun was surprised and stared at Wang Yang for a moment before nodding. "You're right. I have a younger brother who was adopted by a relative when he was young. He's not with us, but he's still our brother."
Mr. Sun wondered if anyone had told Wang Yang about this, but only his wife knew, and his two friends didn't. His wife had been with him the whole time, so there was no chance for her to mention it.
Moreover, there was no reason for her to do so.
Seeing Mr. Sun's surprised expression, Wang Yang felt a bit proud. These were things he had deduced from Mr. Sun's face. Mr. Sun had thick eyebrows with six lines, indicating he had six siblings. The eyebrows extending beyond the corners of his eyes suggested good relationships with his siblings. However, a break in his right eyebrow indicated that one brother was not living with him.
When Mr. Sun said he had five siblings, omitting one, Wang Yang realized that person must not be living with them.
It wasn't easy to deduce these details, even if you knew the eyebrows represented siblings. Few people could make such detailed observations, which required a lot of experience. Wang Yang's ability to see this at a glance made him a skilled face reader.
This gave him more confidence, and he continued, "Mr. Sun, forgive me for being blunt, but you had a poor start in life. You built your fortune from scratch, but your early years were not smooth. You experienced three rises and falls, each time falling hard, and you only truly rose to success on your fourth attempt."
After hearing Wang Yang's words, Mr. Sun's surprise grew, and he nodded awkwardly.
Knowing he was wealthy wasn't impressive. The pickup truck he drove yesterday was a Ford F-450, which cost nearly a million without modifications, and with modifications and registration, it cost over 1.5 million. People with such a car usually had a good financial background. Given his age, it was reasonable to say he had built his fortune from scratch.
What truly surprised him was Wang Yang's mention of his three rises and falls.
This was true. He had experienced many hardships in his early years. His first business, a soda wholesale, was ruined by a car accident. His second business, an electronics store, was destroyed by a fire. His third attempt, in the stock market, also failed. Now, on his fourth attempt, he had finally succeeded and stabilized.
He had never told even his wife about these experiences. Wang Yang's ability to deduce this was beyond mere hearsay. He didn't believe Wang Yang had investigated him, as there was no need and no time for it. Now, he truly believed Wang Yang and his ability to read faces.
Wang Yang's deductions were straightforward. Mr. Sun's face had flaws in the six palaces, which are divided into upper, middle, and lower sections. The upper two palaces are the auxiliary bones above the eyebrows, the middle two palaces are the cheekbones below the eyes, and the lower two palaces are on the sides of the mouth. A poem says, "A full Tiancang brings wealth and fortune, a square Dige brings vast fields." Mr. Sun's face indicated great wealth and fortune, but the three cuts in the Tiancang palace suggested his three rises and falls, each time falling hard.
"Indeed, Brother Wang, what do you see for my future?" Mr. Sun sat up straight, changing his address to Wang Yang, indicating he had begun to recognize him.
"Mr. Sun, harsh truths are hard to hear, and honest words can hurt. What I say next, you may not believe, but you must be cautious!"
Wang Yang's expression became serious. His purpose was to reveal Mr. Sun's poisoning, so he warned him. Seeing Mr. Sun nod, Wang Yang continued, "Mr. Sun, you are a person of great fortune, but fate is unpredictable. Your destiny has changed, and it is now very dangerous!"
"Brother Wang, please be clear."
Mr. Sun's brows furrowed, and his mind raced. Wang Yang's previous observations were accurate, but his sudden warning of danger made him suspicious. Many fortune-tellers start with flattery to gain trust and then use fear to extract money.
It wasn't surprising that Mr. Sun thought this way. He had experienced many hardships and had a complex mindset.
"Mr. Sun, I'll be blunt. Your face indicates great wealth, but it is clouded by a villain. Moreover, you are now poisoned by a chronic toxin. If not treated promptly, your life will be in danger!"
"Chronic toxin, what kind of chronic toxin?"
Mr. Sun's brows furrowed even more, and his voice became sharp. Wang Yang didn't pay attention to Mr. Sun's reaction and continued, "I can't identify the specific toxin, but you are definitely poisoned, and it is severe. Mr. Sun, you are my savior, and I would not deceive you!"
"How can I treat this poison?" Mr. Sun thought for a moment and asked softly.
"I don't know how to treat it. I can only see it, but I don't have the ability to cure it."
Wang Yang shook his head helplessly. He was indeed helpless. Being able to see the poisoning was already a feat, but he had no idea what kind of poison it was or how to treat it. The *Huangji Jing Shi* had some methods for treating illnesses, but they were too advanced for him to understand or use.
"Brother Wang, can you tell me if this poison can be removed?"
Mr. Sun asked again, still feeling tense. He had initially doubted Wang Yang, but Wang Yang's admission of not knowing how to treat the poisoning made him believe him. Sometimes, when someone has no ulterior motives, it makes you trust them more.
Believing he was truly poisoned, anyone would feel tense.
Wang Yang thought for a moment and said, "It can be removed, but it must be done promptly. I don't know how, but you can try going to the hospital."
Since it was poisoning, the hospital should be able to detect something. Wang Yang had no other options. Mr. Sun's eyes brightened, and he nodded quickly. He had been so focused on Wang Yang's abilities that he had forgotten about the hospital. If he was truly poisoned, the hospital should be able to detect it.
After all, modern technology is advanced, and there are few things a hospital can't detect. He was poisoned, not cursed.
"Brother Wang, let's go. We'll change clothes and go to the hospital!"
Mr. Sun stood up, and Wang Yang hesitated for a moment before saying, "Mr. Sun, it's best not to tell your wife about this. I know this might seem unreasonable, but it's best to keep it to yourself."
Wang Yang had hesitated a long time before saying this. Mr. Sun's face showed signs of a wife who might be unfaithful, and there were signs of a villain around him. Wang Yang wasn't sure if his poisoning was related to his wife, but he felt it was best to warn him.
Mr. Sun turned and looked at Wang Yang deeply, then nodded. "Alright, let's go directly to the hospital!"
