Han Sen was stunned by the sudden voice in his head, almost unable to believe it was real.

A Divine Blood creature, a Divine Blood beast soul—these were simply unbelievable.

In the Divine Sanctuary, creatures were divided into four categories: ordinary, primitive, mutant, and Divine Blood. Consuming the flesh and blood of creatures of different ranks could grant different levels of genes.

Currently, humans have discovered four sanctuary spaces. Each time the body evolves, one can enter the next space. The more powerful the genes used during evolution, the higher the chances of survival in the next space.

A Divine Blood beast soul was even more extraordinary, considered the pinnacle of beast souls. Any Divine Blood beast soul could fetch an astronomical price.

After Han Sen came to his senses, he almost trembled as he held the dagger and carefully pried open the back shell of the Divine Blood Black Beetle. He cut out a piece of the jelly-like tender flesh and stuffed it into his mouth.

"Consuming the flesh and blood of the Divine Blood Black Beetle, gained one Divine gene."

Feeling the warmth from the swallowed flesh and hearing the voice in his head, Han Sen was almost moved to tears.

Without hesitation, he grabbed the claws of the Divine Blood Black Beetle and sucked out the meat inside, swallowing it all at once. He felt a wave of heat surge through his body, making his blood almost boil.

Eating the Divine Blood Black Beetle was not much different from eating a crab. After sucking the meat out of the six claws, Han Sen used the knife to cut out the flesh from the shell.

"Consuming the flesh and blood of the Divine Blood Black Beetle, gained one Divine gene."

"Consuming the flesh and blood of the Divine Blood Black Beetle, gained one Divine gene."

"..."

The continuous strange voices in Han Sen's head made him feel as if he were floating on a cloud, filled with happiness.

Han Sen was happily cutting away when his dagger suddenly hit something hard, making a metallic sound that startled him.

The Black Beetle looked as hard as a crab, but its shell was filled with tender flesh, with no bones. How could there be metal inside?

Moving the dagger aside, he followed the cut and pulled the flesh to one side, revealing a corner of black metal. Han Sen cut away the surrounding flesh, and soon the black metal was fully exposed.

At first, Han Sen thought it was metal, but upon fully removing it, he realized it was a black crystal the size and shape of a pigeon's egg.

Holding the crystal in his hand, he felt nothing unusual, as if it were just a beautiful, smooth black pebble.

But upon closer inspection, the crystal seemed to contain countless swirling stars, incredibly beautiful.

"This is the lowest level of the Divine Sanctuary. It's rare to see even primitive creatures, let alone Divine Blood creatures. How could a Divine Blood Black Beetle suddenly appear? Moreover, I've never heard of a lowly Black Beetle having a Divine Blood counterpart. And this Divine Blood Black Beetle is incredibly weak. Could the appearance of this Divine Blood Black Beetle be related to this black crystal?" Han Sen pondered.

However, he couldn't figure it out immediately. Han Sen swallowed the remaining flesh of the Divine Blood Black Beetle, stuffing his stomach to the point of almost bursting, and gained a total of seven Divine genes.

Seven Divine genes—before, Han Sen wouldn't have dared to dream of such a thing. Given his background, even with great effort, it would have been difficult for him to defeat a Divine Blood creature. Even a primitive creature would have required him to risk his life, with a very low chance of success.

The remaining shell of the Divine Blood Black Beetle was also a precious material. Han Sen picked up the claws and stuffed the upper and lower shells into his pocket.

The shell of an ordinary Black Beetle had almost no value, but the shell of a Divine Blood Black Beetle, even if boiled into a soup, should grant one or two Divine genes.

It was Han Sen's first time eating a Divine Blood creature. Normally, he should have gained ten Divine genes, but after eating the flesh, he only gained seven. The remaining three were in the shell.

If he sold the shell, the money he would get would be enough to buy a decent private spacecraft in the Left-Handed Galactic Alliance.

Returning to the Steel Armor Sanctuary, as he walked down the street, people pointed at him, some gloating and others mocking, but no one approached him.

Everyone in the Steel Armor Sanctuary looked at Han Sen as if he were a monster.

Ordinarily, when people entered the sanctuary, even if they were penniless, as long as their skills weren't too poor, they could find a few newbies to team up with and hunt some isolated primitive creatures without much trouble, unlike Han Sen, who had a miserable time.

However, in the entire Steel Armor Sanctuary, no one was willing or brave enough to associate with Han Sen.

Three months ago, when Han Sen first entered the Divine Sanctuary world, he had just walked around a corner of the city wall and was shocked to see a snow-white, four-legged, man-sized unicorn standing with its back to him.

Without hesitation, Han Sen grabbed his dagger and stabbed the unicorn's buttocks.

This act made Han Sen and Qin Xuan the biggest laughingstocks in the entire Steel Armor Sanctuary.

Indeed, the white unicorn was not a strange creature; it was a human, just like Han Sen, who had transformed using a beast soul.

Moreover, Qin Xuan was the most powerful and influential woman in the Steel Armor Sanctuary, someone who was likely to complete her first evolution with Divine Blood genes and step onto the path of evolution.

A greenhorn who had just entered the Steel Armor Sanctuary stabbing Qin Xuan's buttocks became the biggest joke in the entire sanctuary. Although no one dared to mention it in front of Qin Xuan, everyone was almost laughing themselves to death behind her back.

"Ass-Kicking Maniac" became Han Sen's well-known nickname in the Steel Armor Sanctuary.

Enraged, Qin Xuan declared that anyone who dared to associate with Han Sen would be her enemy.

In the Steel Armor Sanctuary, there were few people who had the ability to oppose Qin Xuan, and even if they did, no one would risk becoming her enemy for the sake of Han Sen, a stranger known as the "Ass-Kicking Maniac."

That's why Han Sen had such a miserable time. However, Han Sen didn't blame Qin Xuan; it was his own fault. He was too nervous the first time he entered the sanctuary world and had never seen strange creatures or transformed humans before, leading to such an unforgivable mistake.

Han Sen was already very grateful that Qin Xuan didn't kill him in her anger.

The only thing Han Sen was relieved about was that human teleportation into the Divine Sanctuary world was random and uncontrollable. No one in the Steel Armor Sanctuary knew his real name or had any connection to him.
