"Alright, everyone, please sit back down." The train police officer no longer intended to investigate the matter further.
"Don't panic." Su Wen stood up.
Many people looked at him curiously.
"I think this isn't over yet. Since we've already started searching, why not search one more person? The man in the blue shirt by the window, I remember you came in with the man in front of you. Maybe he accidentally put the stolen item in your possession?" Su Wen said with a half-smile, having seen the two men transfer the stolen goods.
"What are you saying?" The man in the blue shirt glared at Su Wen coldly.
"I'm saying you might be his accomplice. Is there a problem with that?" Su Wen pointed at the man in front of him. "Now that we can't find the stolen goods on your companion, you are highly suspicious. According to the train police officer, to prove your innocence, why don't you let the officer search you? If the ancient jade isn't on you, I'll apologize."
"Right!" The girl also noticed something was off. "If you don't want to be searched, we'll go to the police station at the next stop for a thorough investigation."
The man in the blue shirt showed a hint of fear. He looked at Su Wen with resentment, and his hand, hidden by the window, quietly reached out. Su Wen, due to his position, clearly saw that the man was holding the ancient jade, and the old man seemed to have noticed as well.
The ancient jade slipped from his hand and flew out the window.
The man in the blue shirt showed a sinister look.
"Retrieve!" Su Wen muttered.
"Alright, let's search him! You can search him however you want." The man in the blue shirt walked to the aisle very naturally, looking provocatively at the old man and Su Wen.
"Officer, search him!" The girl said urgently.
"Forget it, no need." The old man shook his head.
"Grandpa, what's wrong?" The girl was puzzled.
"It's already gone." The old man sighed. "Let's go back to our seats."
Coincidentally, the old man and the girl's seats were right across from Su Wen.
"Grandpa, this is it." The girl pointed, glancing at Su Wen and adding curiously, "Our seats are right across from you. But are you sick? Your face is so pale, it looks like you're about to die."
Su Wen wanted to say something but didn't have the strength to speak.
He cursed inwardly. Why was his face so pale? It was because he had used his energy to retrieve the ancient jade for them. He didn't know what kind of ancient jade it was, but it had cost him 0.6 of his vitality. Now his vitality was only 0.2, and if it dropped any lower, he might die.
"Thank you, young man." The old man was still grateful to Su Wen.
Su Wen was eager to recover his vitality and had no strength to speak, so he could only blink and force a smile. However, the girl seemed to be a talkative person and introduced herself.
"My name is Chu Fei, and this is my grandpa. The stone ring in front of you is nice. Can I play with it?"
Su Wen inwardly groaned. Who was this girl? She was so familiar! Was her grandfather not going to discipline her? Did her mother know? Did her father know? Did her grandmother know?
The old man, hearing this, was surprised.
After about an hour, Su Wen's vitality recovered to 0.3, and he could finally move and speak.
The first thing he said was, "Girl, give me back my stuff. Are you done playing with it?"
Chu Fei was taken aback and blushed. "I thought you didn't mind since you didn't say anything. But this stone ring is really nice. There's a small painting on it, but I couldn't figure out which craftsman made it."
"Even Fei can't identify it? Let me see." The old man smiled.
"Here, Grandpa." Chu Fei handed the stone ring to him.
The old man took it and examined it carefully, which made Su Wen very anxious. He had spent 0.5 of his vitality to retrieve it. Did they think it was their own property? They could look at it and play with it as they pleased, without worrying about breaking it.
"No wonder Fei didn't know. This is the work of an unknown craftsman, but from the small painting on the stone ring, his technique is quite skilled. The bamboo is depicted vividly. If we talk about value, it could sell for about 70,000 to 80,000 yuan." The old man commented and then returned the stone ring to Su Wen.
Chu Fei looked at Su Wen curiously. "This stone ring is worth 70,000 to 80,000 yuan, and you're not surprised?"
"What's there to be surprised about?" Su Wen acted surprised.
He had known the value of the stone ring all along, so he wasn't surprised.
Chu Fei didn't say anything more.
Su Wen stood up. He had been on the train for a long time and needed to use the restroom.
Just as he was about to squeeze past the people in front of him, someone in the aisle pushed him, and he involuntarily fell toward the opposite side.
Su Wen was startled. In a daze, he felt his hands touch something soft and couldn't help but pinch it.
"Pervert, let go!"
Su Wen was stunned. He realized he had grabbed Chu Fei's chest.
"That..."
Chu Fei's face turned red. "Bastard, I'll chop off your hands. How dare you take advantage of me! You're dead!"
Hearing Chu Fei's roar, Su Wen turned and ran to the restroom.
After using the restroom, Su Wen hesitated for half an hour before daring to return.
Looking at Chu Fei, he couldn't help but think about what had just happened. The feeling still lingered in his mind.
Chu Fei glared at him as if she wanted to kill him.
"Chu Fei, I can do magic tricks." Su Wen gave an awkward smile.
"Magic tricks?" Chu Fei was puzzled, not knowing what Su Wen was up to.
Distract her?
"Look, this is a one-cent coin." Su Wen placed a one-cent coin on the table. "Now, hold this coin in your hand. I will use my magic to transfer this one-cent coin from your hand to mine. Do you believe me?"
Su Wen looked at Chu Fei provocatively, as if to say, "No matter how tightly you hold it, I can still transfer it."
"Who are you fooling? Do you think I haven't seen magic before?" Chu Fei pouted, clearly not believing him. She had seen magic tricks before and thought they were just tricks using props. No matter how skilled a magician was, they couldn't make something disappear from someone's hand without a plant.
She picked up the one-cent coin from the table and was surprised. "It's from 1961."
The old man, hearing this, was also taken aback.
"Look!" Su Wen opened his hands, showing they were empty.
He had already started the magic trick.
"Go ahead, go ahead!" Chu Fei urged, waiting to see Su Wen make a fool of himself.
Su Wen smiled and clapped his hands together, rubbing them vigorously. "Hold it tightly. I'm about to transfer the coin from your hand to mine."
"Okay, I'm holding it tightly." Chu Fei smiled.
"Alright, the moment of magic is here." Su Wen, acting like a magician, slowly opened his hands.
This time, even the old man was curious and looked over.
Su Wen smiled inwardly. He entered the Great Dao Recycling Space in his mind and retrieved an identical one-cent coin. He then saw the familiar coin appear in his hand, and when he checked the year...
1961.
"Impossible!" Chu Fei reached for the coin in Su Wen's hand, but as soon as she opened her hand, the coin in her hand fell to the floor.
Hearing the clear sound, Chu Fei was stunned.
"You're tricking me!" Chu Fei stomped her feet in anger.
She bent down to pick up the coin, but it was dark under the seat, and she couldn't see anything.
"Is this the one?" Su Wen held out another one-cent coin to Chu Fei.
"How is this possible? The one-cent coin clearly fell to the floor." Chu Fei's mouth dropped open in disbelief.
"I told you, I can do magic tricks." Su Wen laughed and casually produced another one-cent coin, which was also from 1961.
Seeing three coins in front of her, Chu Fei's mouth dropped even wider.
Only Su Wen knew that when Chu Fei dropped the one-cent coin, he had used the Great Dao System to retrieve it. In the system's definition, lost items were considered unowned, so the coin naturally returned to the system space and was then produced by Su Wen.
"Alright, one is for you, and the other two are for me." Su Wen was generous. He did this to ease the awkwardness, and it clearly worked. Chu Fei completely forgot about the chest-grabbing incident.
