Going home was actually an idea that Su Wen had long had.

Long before, he couldn't find a job, so he wanted to go home. Now, he had broken up with Liu Xiaoshi, and he wanted to go home even more. Moreover, the Da Tian Dao Recycling System he obtained was not suitable for use in Kyoto. Not to mention other things, sometimes he wanted to practice cultivation, but it was hard to find a secluded place in Kyoto.

In the dormitory.

"Pinzi, help me notify those two guys that I'm going back to my hometown the day after tomorrow, and ask them to come back and gather tomorrow," Su Wen said casually.

"Why did you suddenly think of going back?" Yin Zeping put down the mouse in his hand.

"Kyoto is not suitable for me. I can't even find a job here," Su Wen shrugged, these words were quite false, "My parents found me a decent job at home, so I still want to develop there. That's it."

"Alright!" Yin Zeping didn't say anything more.

The next day, in the evening.

Su Wen's other two roommates came back. One was called Ding Cheng, nicknamed Xiao Paozi. As for why he had this nickname, just look at his build: 1.6 meters tall, nearly 200 pounds, he wasn't just fat, he was like a big water barrel. The other was called Duan Xiaolin, who, despite weighing about the same as Xiao Paozi, was 1.9 meters tall. What was his nickname? Everyone called him Sister Lin. Why a male would have such a nickname, Su Wen couldn't figure out, but compared to another male in their major called Aunt Rong, it seemed much better.

The four of them had a great relationship. In their final gathering, they all got drunk. Su Wen didn't know what his three roommates said to him, but in the end, they all went to a KTV in a daze, and then...

slept.

The next day, at noon.

"Mozi, you're awake." Duan Xiaolin was playing with his phone. When he saw Su Wen wake up, he immediately put the phone in his pocket, "Your train is at four in the afternoon. I saw you sleeping so soundly, so I didn't wake you up."

"Thanks, Sister Lin." Su Wen smiled, "Why haven't they woken up yet? They're sleeping even more soundly than me."

"I'll wake them up now." Duan Xiaolin said, and went to push the two. Soon, Yin Zeping and Ding Cheng also woke up, "Alright, it's almost twelve. Mozi still needs to pack his things, so you guys should wake up too."

"Twelve? I haven't slept this long in a while." Yin Zeping laughed, he looked at Ding Cheng and said with a smile, "Xiao Paozi, did you dream of something exciting? Look, the sofa is all wet."

"Get lost, I didn't have a wet dream, that's just saliva." Xiao Paozi quickly rebutted.

The three of them burst out laughing at this.

...

In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, at the train station.

"Mozi, work hard when you go back. If you really can't make it, I'll support you," Duan Xiaolin patted Su Wen on the shoulder.

"Um... Sister Lin, I don't do that kind of thing," Su Wen was slightly embarrassed.

"Get lost, who wants to do that with you? I like women, I like women," Duan Xiaolin said, then became serious, "I can't guarantee anything else, but if you can't find a job, my old man can get you a job in our county, though it's a bit far from your home."

"If the job my parents found for me doesn't work out, I'll consider it," Su Wen smiled at Duan Xiaolin. To be able to do this much for him, four years of being roommates was really worth it, "Sister Lin, you should hurry up too. If you can go abroad, go abroad. If not, find a girl soon. I don't want to see you still single the next time I see you."

"Mozi, how do you know Sister Lin's ambition? He wants to bring back a foreign girl," Ding Cheng teased.

"Haha, yeah, bringing a black girl out is the coolest. After all, they all look the same in the dark," Yin Zeping laughed loudly, which made Duan Xiaolin's face turn black instantly.

"Get lost!" Duan Xiaolin shouted.

"Alright, I'm leaving." Su Wen felt that the longer he stayed, the more he wanted to stay, "Brothers, take care. We'll see each other again in the future."

"Mozi!"

"Good luck!"

"Safe journey!"

...

After squeezing onto the train, Su Wen found his seat.

It was a window seat, and he was listlessly looking out the window.

Silently activating the Da Tian Dao Recycling System, a virtual map appeared in front of him. This map was similar to a satellite map but much more precise. The people sitting next to him didn't notice at all. To others, this map was invisible. On the map, there were hundreds of scattered light points, each representing an unowned item. By pulling one of these light points, he could see what the item was.

Recycling items other than coins required vitality.

He looked all the way, and in the end, he only spent 0.5 vitality to recycle a decent-looking stone ring.

After consuming 0.5 vitality, he felt a bit weak and slept for three to four hours before recovering.

When he woke up, he found that the train had stopped at a station.

Looking out the window, he muttered to himself, "It's already in Jiangsu Province. The next stop should be Jiangning City, and the one after that is Lingyin County."

It was now 3 AM.

Many people got off the train, and the two people sitting opposite Su Wen quickly disappeared with their bags. The carriage was buzzing as more people got on. Feeling bored, Su Wen took out the stone ring he had recycled and played with it for a while before losing interest.

At that moment, a noisy sound came.

"Move, move inside."

"Make way for the people behind. It's not easy to travel, so please be considerate of each other."

...

Su Wen looked down the aisle and saw dozens of people rush in. At first, he didn't think much of it, as this was a common occurrence. But suddenly, he saw something he shouldn't have: a man with shifty eyes and a rat-like face quickly took an ancient jade from an old man's waist.

The old man noticed something was wrong, turned his wrist, and grabbed the man's hand like a clamp, "Little thief, give me back the jade!"

The man was taken aback. He didn't expect the old man to be so quick, but he was prepared. He shrugged and said, "Old man, are you out of your mind? You say I stole your jade, but do you have any evidence?"

The old man frowned. He was about to say something when a conductor shouted from a distance, "Everyone, please sit down quickly. The train is about to leave."

"Excuse me, please move aside," a girl with a clear voice hurriedly entered the carriage. She looked down the aisle and, upon seeing the old man, her face lit up, "Grandpa, I bought the water."

The girl had a beautiful voice, a great figure, and a charming face. Many people were entranced, and such a beauty would be a campus flower in any school.

"Fei'er, the ancient jade I was carrying is gone," the old man took a deep breath.

"What?" The girl was shocked, "Where did you lose it?"

"Just now," the old man said, looking at the man, "I suspect he stole it, but I have no evidence. The ancient jade is likely still on him."

"Then it's easy, we can search him," the girl looked at the man.

"Search me?" The man pretended to be scared but said provocatively, "If you, little miss, search me, I have no objections."

A conductor noticed something was wrong and shouted, and a police officer ran over.

The police officer was slightly overweight but had a sharp gaze.

Many people made way for him. When he arrived, he frowned and asked, "What happened?"

"My grandpa's ancient jade is gone. We suspect he stole it, and I request a search," the girl said.

The police officer was taken aback. He looked at the girl and said awkwardly, "We are just train police and do not have the right to search. However, at the next station, we can seek help from local law enforcement, and you can resolve it at the police station."

After saying this, the police officer looked at the man, "Sir, we do not have the right to search, but to prove your innocence, if you are willing to be searched, we will treat you fairly. Otherwise, you will have to go to the police station together."

Many people praised the police officer.

Su Wen found it quite amusing. When the police officer first mentioned the police station, the man clearly trembled, indicating he was guilty, possibly even a habitual criminal with a record. If he went to the police station, he wouldn't have an easy time. The police officer's subsequent words were definitely pushing him to a dead end. Regardless of whether the man stole or not, he would end up being searched.

Besides, he really did steal.

"Hmph, search me then," the man fell for it.

The police officer's face lit up, "Thank you for your cooperation. I apologize for the inconvenience."

He spoke nicely, but his hands were quick. In a flash, he searched the man's entire body, but clearly, he didn't find any ancient jade.

"Miss, I apologize," the police officer turned to look at the girl.

"I told you I didn't steal it," the man was quite smug.

"Grandpa!" The girl didn't know what to do.

"Forget it, it's fate!" The old man's face was pale, indicating the ancient jade was very significant to him.

Su Wen couldn't stand it anymore.

He wasn't an absolute good person, but he wasn't a bad person either, especially after seeing the entire incident.
