Ye Tianchen had heard Chen Hu and the three thugs’ conversation and felt he had made the right decision to come. If he hadn’t come tonight to eliminate the threat, his parents and sister might have been in danger. He also learned of a major conspiracy. For a long time, a major force in Kyoto had been planning to deal with the Ye family, seemingly for a long time.

As Chen Hu raised his gun, a dagger flew at him. Ye Tianchen didn’t even turn around. The dagger, infused with energy, pierced Chen Hu’s throat, the force of the impact driving the dagger and Chen Hu’s body through the room’s large glass window, pinning him to the wall. Blood gushed from his mouth as Ye Tianchen disappeared from the room...
