Fake 32: Going To School Together

Having returned to my room, I slept like a log due to the fatigue from the battle. But, I woke up early the next morning from the sound of the intercom.

“Um, um~m. What time is it now?”

Reaching out to the terminal, I checked the time. It was only 6:00 AM.

Who is it? At this time of the day

“Ye~s. Who might you be?”

“Good morning. It is Aoi.”

Crap, I completely forgot. Come to think of it, Aoi was supposed to be making breakfast for me today.

I hurriedly went to the front door and opened the door.

“Good morning”

“Yes, good morning”

Aoi, who had already changed into her school uniform, was standing there.

“You are early……”

“This is normal. It is even considered a little late to cook meals. Besides, my cooking utensils and rice cooker are here.”

“Ah, ahhh, sorry. I forgot”

I just remembered that all of her cooking utensils were in my room since she cooked meals in my room yesterday.

Soon after entering my room, Aoi started cooking. Since I was fully awoken, I decided to dress up earlier than usual.

I finished dressing up and waited for a while. Today too, Aoi arranged the breakfast on the table with the delicious-looking dishes just like yesterday.

“Now then, shall we start eating?”

“Ah, yes. Itadakimasu”

Sure enough, the meals cooked by Aoi are perfect. I still can’t believe I get to eat her cooking starting from the morning. But, I feel a little sad when I think about how this is going to end tomorrow.

“Come to think of it, Rin-kun, the final exams are starting the day after tomorrow. What about your studies?”

“Eh? No, well, how should I put it…… normal?”

“Rin-kun, excuse me for saying, perhaps you haven’t studied much?”

“Uh……well, you’re right.”

“It is just like I thought. Well then, let’s study together during this test period starting from today.”

“Am I studying together with Aoi? But, if I become a hindrance…”

“Rin-kun, let’s go home together starting from today. And, we will study together as soon as we get home. Are we clear?”

“Yes”

I felt a strange pressure that couldn’t be described.

Aoi is usually an angel. However, sometimes, she can be strangely forceful, just like the time when she asked me to form a party with her. When this happens, all my rights are forcefully revoked, and I have no choice but to say ‘yes’.

When the time for us to go to school arrived, we both left the room. Apparently, Aoi is going with me.

Of course, it is reasonable for us to go together since our destination and arrival time are the same. However, is this really okay?

As for me, this isn’t an issue. But, I think it’d be troublesome if weird rumors about Aoi, the idol of the school, going to school together with someone like me were to spread……

“Aoi, are you really going together with me?”

“Of course, isn’t it natural?”

“Really………?”

Well, since Aoi is saying so, it must be true. After that, we walked together side by side and headed to the school.

We gradually came across more and more of our fellow students. As expected, I could somehow feel the gazes.

We weren’t being stared at blatantly, but it felt more like we were being glanced at.

Well, Aoi is usually too eye-catching. So, even if she doesn’t go to school together with me, maybe this amount of attention is a regular basis for her.

After walking for a while, we arrived at the school, then I parted with Aoi and headed to my classroom. I couldn’t feel any particular gazes in my classroom, so I was able to spend my time like usual, but it was only until lunch break.
