Fake 4: The Second Skill Index

After picking up the hobgoblin’s magic stone, I refused to board the ambulance and returned to my room riding my bicycle.

"Huuu~. I am tired~!"

Until now, I'd faced several dangerous situations where I almost died ever since I became a survivor, but today was the most tiring out of all.

Not only was I tired, but this was also the first time defeating a monster with my own hands in my one-year career of working as a survivor.

Furthermore, the monster I defeated is probably an F-rank hobgoblin.

It is unbelievable even if I think about it now.

"That’s, that’s right"

Because I was dealing with the aftermath of the incident, I completely forgot.

What has become of my Status that has not changed for the past year?

My level that had stayed at Lv1 for over a year finally became Lv2.

Moreover, there is even one more blank space in the skill area.

This means I can use one more skill.

Although there are people in the world who possess multiple skills, individuals with more than two skills are extremely rare. I could only see them a few times before.

At present, there are six multiple-skills holders known to the world; it is said that there are only a few more people like them.

Perhaps, I became a double skill holder, albeit in a pseudo manner.

Furthermore, unlike ordinary skill holders, I can even choose which skills to use.

One skill is too vulnerable, so I couldn’t attack monsters directly.

However, if I can choose two skills—depending on the skill combinations—anything can become possible, right?

Actually, although [Wave Blade] has an extremely short reach, I was able to defeat the monster by stabbing with it.

If I can approach the opponent by using another skill, I feel like I can do it somehow.

When I thought like that, I couldn’t stand still any more, so I leaped out of the room and immediately imitated another skill.

[Fireball]

This is the only skill I can imitate right now.

To avoid causing any accidents, I aimed the skill at above.

As soon as I activated the skill, a tiny fireball flew toward the sky.

Although its power diminished considerably, it seems I can use the [Fireball] skill without any problem.

Just as I guessed, two imitated skills appeared when I looked at my Status's display again.

Since both are attack skills—unlike [Fog] that I’ve been using until now—so if I use them cleverly, at the very least, I should be able to defeat a goblin.

I looked at the skill's display more carefully, and the number of skill usage left for today appeared—one for [Wave Blade] and three for [Fireball].

I used [Wave Blade] one time in the battle with the hobgoblin and also used [Fireball] one time just earlier.

So, I think the usage limit per day for [Wave Blade] is two times and [Fireball] is four times.

I’ve never imitated a powerful skill until now, so I’d only seen the number 'three' for the skill usage limit because of that.

Apparently, it seems the limit for skill usage per day differs according to the skill.

Previously, when I imitated [Fireball] as a test, its usage limit was only three times, so I think the usage limit had increased because my level rose.

Tomorrow, I will check on the conditions of the other two party members who were beaten up.

If they still need time to recover, I want to try challenging a monster by myself.
