《Magic Cancel》 was put under the category of high ranking Rule(Different Law Magic) magic was the kind of skill that consumes a lot of mana but…

When Edda’s enchanted sword clashed against Gaza’s 《Forbidden Double-Headed Sickle; Ramiz》.

Despite Gaza swinging around her double-headed sickle incessantly, Edda made the full use of her speed to handle her attack.

But, Edda was slowly being cornered by Gaza.

「Aah, you’re really fast indeed. To think that you can defend yourself from my double-headed sickle.」

Gaza’s smile became wider and wider as times went on.

「Edda isn’t your only opponent!」

「Can you stop interrupting me?」

Gaza blocked Edda’s enchanted sword with the shaft of her 《Forbidden Double-Headed Sickle, Ramiz》, at the same time, she used her free hand to send a horizontal hand chop empowered with her 《Transcendence Strength》 toward me.

Gaza’s hand chop went under the blade of my 《Demon Eater Sword; Beelzera》, striking my hand that was holding on to the hilt of my sword.

Even though Edda dodged that attack by jumping in the air, Gaza changed the position of her grip on the hilt of her double-headed sickle, increasing its reach as she sweep it forth toward Edda.

Edda stopped that blow with her sword’s blade, parried it while using its force to leap even higher.

Gaza’s smile became even creepier upon seeing that.

That Moment, I was convinced that it was a trap prepared for Edda.

「I got you now, 《Crucifix》!」

An eerie giant cross with eyes painted all over its surface appeared behind Edda.

It’s bind type Toulpa(Spirit Creation Magic).

「TCH!」

Edda sent a mid-air roundhouse kick to escape from that eerie cross.

But, the rusty chains that were hanging on that cross were coiling around Edda’s limbs, pulling her toward it.

「This is it, this is the moment I love the most. How do you feel right now? feeling scared being so defenseless in front of your foe? It’s scary, right?」

Gaza’s eyes were filled with delight, she raised her 《Forbidden Double-Headed Sickle, Ramiz》 as she spoke excitedly until spitting out her saliva.

「《Trick Dove》!」

I rose up immediately and fired two tulpa doves toward Gaza.

Though it could easily be cancelled with her 《Magic Cancel》, it was enough to distract her for a moment.

「AHAHAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS IT, IT’S THE BEST!」

Gaza completely ignored my tulpa doves and swung down her double-headed sickle toward Edda’s abdomen.

「ARGH!」

「EDDAAA!」

Each of the tulpa doves were crashing on Gaza’s shoulder and feet.

It exploded, and burned Gaza alive.

「ONE MORE TIME! JUST ONE MORE SWING!」

Gaza didn’t even care to stop the swinging of her weapon, despite being baked alive.

Her second swing mercilessly gouged Edda’s abdomen.

「YOU SHI*TTY WOMAN!」

I swung my 《Demon Eater Sword; Beelzera》 toward Gaza but, she easily parried my slash with her 《Forbidden Double-Headed Sickle; Ramiz》.

「You’re… next.」

The crucifixion that binds Edda had vanished and her body fell to the ground.

She was still breathing, barely. But, I don’t think she could continue the fight.

She doesn’t seem to have the strength left to grip her enchanted sword.

「《Magic Cancel》」

Gaza invoked her magic while receiving my slash.

The blue light emitted from her deployed magic circle erased the 《Trick Dove》’s flame that was burning her shoulder.

Despite the horrifying burnt scar on the right half of her face, Gaza didn’t seem to care, or feel pain from it.

Our enchanted weapons clashed for the second time.

「Oh my, what are you doing over there? do you think you can reach me from that distance?」

… It was as she said, the difference between our weapon’s range was simply too great.

There was the difference between our speed too, I doubt I would survive if things kept going on like this.

Even if I could temporarily dodge her attack with 《Moon Reflection》, I still had no way to deal with the strike from her double-edged sickle.

Something, I need a momentary opening to deal a deciding blow.

「Ha~… this is the end huh. Your sword is bo~ring. Now, let’s hear your scream.」

Gaza spoke while licking her lips.

I continued on, stabbing Gaza’s abdomen with my sword.

My sword’s blade sunk into her abdomen as if sucked by it.

It was an extremely nauseating feeling.

Every animal(human included) would lose their fighting spirit once they lost their battle bone.

Gaza’s head fell forward, never rose again.

The odo’s light that escaped from her body went toward Edda and I.

I drew my sword from her abdomen, and fell on my knees.
