The Shoggoths were synthetic creatures created by race called the Elder Things.

Shoggoths were used by the Elder Things as servants, but over the years, Shoggoths gained consciousness, overthrew their masters and killed them.

Which isn’t surprising considering that the shoggoths were masses of high specs.

Shoggoths are unsusceptible to fire and electricity, they’re immune to physical attacks and they have high regeneration. In addition, their bodies can transform into various shapes depending on their needs.

Appearance-wise, they look like unpleasant iridescent lumps of flesh

By the way, their cry is “Tekeli-li!” which is an imitation of the language of the Elder Things, their former masters.

I’m a solo player, but I decided to head out to the corrupted sanctuary ruins to see if I could handle it. Well, in the end it was the first zone so I didn’t have much trouble except for when it came to the pill-bugs.

So, there I was, having a scuffle with the pill-bug, when all of a sudden, something appeared behind it and stabbed it in the back, killing it.

It shouldn’t have been able to instant kill the pill-bug without targeting its weak spot, yet it did. I got a bit agitated since it stole my farm, so I tried slashing at it. As I was swinging my sword, I appraised it too and saw “Spawn of Abraham Lv89”. I immediately regretted it, but it was too late by then and I unfortunately died.

Recently, I’ve been spending time chatting it up with that grandma and she told me 2 pretty important things.

The first, was the existence of reincarnation monsters which includes, “Abraham of Holy Violence” I don’t know the full details, but it’s some sort of deity to the villagers and besides Abraham, there’s seemingly 4 others called “Coravusias of Burning Violence”, “Antarctica of Aquatic Violence”, “Alaina of Dark Violence” and “Baraghiara of Lone Honour”.

You can choose to believe it, but it’s regarded a legend.
