A dashing appearance in the Fantasia Bunko!!

This is mine, Kuji Masamune’s, debut face for Fantasia Bunko.

Finally, I was able to put out the 『Tensei Maou no Juliet』. It’s been so long……!!

Recently, I feel that the time it takes to publish a book is becoming shorter and shorter. They incorporate trends as soon as possible and put them out quickly. Juliet seems to be going against such a trend.

It’s been three years since I first proposed the project.

In fact, this book is the result of four editors from two different labels passing the baton to each other, and getting tossed around a lot in the process.

This is impossible in today’s light novels (lol). However, I think it turned out to be a ridiculous and very interesting work.

Just to introduce myself, I won a prize at the Sneaker Awards, and then I debuted with 『Masou Gakuen HxH』. (TN: You should check that novel out )

My other titles include 『Ecstas Online』 and 『Dark Hello Work』, also from Sneaker Bunko, and 『Maou Gakuen no Rebel』, which was also currently in writing.

In other words —— this is the first time I’m writing outside of Sneaker Bunko!!

Another label male virgin, was snatched away by Fantasia!?

Or rather, this is a comedy…… this work, is a romantic comedy and a fantasy battle! Even though it has a fairly serious and hard view of the world, what I’m doing is “If we do H, the world will be destroyed” kind of thing!? Even though it’s such a joke, you don’t know what it means to actually influence the fate of the world (laughs).

This work is based on Shakespeare’s 『Romeo and Juliet』, as the title says Juliet (although it also incorporates many other elements from Shakespeare’s works).

They are representatives of hostile countries, royalty and commoner, and no matter what, the people around them will never approve of their relationship. Furthermore, it comes with the fate that “If they have sex, the world will be destroyed”!?

Without worrying against the background of ideology, politics, issues between nations, etc., you can enjoy this as a love story and be passionate about it as a battle story.

It is romantic and ecchi, serious and gag, heavy and light, ephemeral and profound. This is a story that contains all such contradictions.

Exactly like —— clean is dirty, dirty is clean, and so on.

Will Haruto and Iris be able to carve out their own destiny? Led by Master Lawrence, Prospero has yet to reveal its true nature.

However, unlike normal enemies, their goal is to get Haruto and Iris to have sex, which would be impossible (lol).

But it is, directly linked to the fate of the world.

And, the forces that are trying to break up the relationship between Haruto and Iris, are actually ……!?

Even though they still have too many obstacles, they’re still stacking up!? With that feeling, I’m sure there will be more to come, so please look forward to the next issue!

I hope this work will give you an opportunity to think about what is really important.

Such is the case for the 『Tensei Maou no Juliet』, but the illustrations are also intensely attractive!

Miyama Zero-san’s illustrations, are really wonderful!! But everyone knew that, and I knew that from the beginning…… but…… there are some things that I have learned only after working together with him.

That is, the ability to deeply pursue the setting of the story and build up a worldview through design. And, his passion for his work is very passionate!

The influence of Miyama-san’s design, on the manuscript isn’t small. I would be happy if we could continue to work together in the future.
