"Would you like to go out, Mimosa?"

"Huh?"

After successfully removing the stain from the tablecloth and folding it with satisfaction, I was suddenly invited by Percival to go out.

"Um... It’s fine, but where to?"

"Anywhere. I want you to show me your favorite place. I’ve walked around the city, but I’ve never really gone out, so I want you to show me your favorite spot."

"Then... shall we go tomorrow?"

The lady had said that there would be an evening party after the tea party, but it seemed she didn’t intend to debut me at a mediocre one. She was apparently making a dress, planning to take me to a large evening party with as many people as possible, along with Percival.

However, my favorite places in the city are... the old bookshop on Crozzen Street, the Selkys Bookstore, the Book Café on Fyze Street, and the Nisheet Library on Heliton Street... all of which are places for solitary enjoyment. Book cafés and libraries aren’t really places for chatting...

This is a bit of a problem. It’s a date... right? If it is, then it might turn into a date where we both remain silent... Should we just talk while walking?

To begin with, going out with such a wonderful person...?! Well, since I’ve already come here to marry, it’s not exactly new, but... I need to look nice so as not to embarrass myself...

"Ah, um..."

"Uh-huh."

"...All my favorite places are not really suitable for chatting."

"Uh-huh."

"......If possible, I’d like to go to a place where we can chat over lunch..."

When I said this, Percival’s expression brightened.

"If that’s the case, I’ll ask around to find a good place. Do you have any particular area in mind?"

"The eastern side of the capital... Most of my favorite places are around there."

Incidentally, my family home is also nearby. While bookstores can be found anywhere, I enjoy walking to them, so it ends up being that area.

"Got it. Then we’ll go to the eastern side by carriage and walk around from there."

"Y-Yes!"

I ended up making plans for my first date in life.

And he even said I can take him to my favorite places. The thought of being overwhelmed by the smell of paper and ink after a long time made me excited.

I wonder if Percival likes reading? Maybe mysteries... detective stories, or books about knight orders?

Since I’ve read a lot, there might be something I can recommend. But, hmm...?

Is this really okay...? If I take him to my favorite places and he doesn’t really like reading, it might be boring.

With a troubled expression, I thought about it, and Percival called out to me, "Mimosa."

"There’s one thing I want you to promise me..."

"What is it?"

He smiled beautifully and clearly said,

"Tomorrow, absolutely do not recommend any books by Alex Cheryl."

"I, I understand."

Many question marks floated in my head, but I thought that being recommended a book by his mother might indeed be unpleasant, so I nodded.
