“Ah Ning, I…”

Liang Rong’s face was flushed red as well as he looked at Song Ning, at a loss for words.

Song Ning was overwhelmed by the intense emotions in the moment as a certain part of his body started throbbing like never before.

But he couldn’t possibly be flustered in front of Liang Rong, so he had to put on the appearance of a man who had past experience and said, “It’s okay, this is a normal physiological reaction.”

Liang Rong cautiously asked, “Then, can I…”

Song Ning took a deep breath and prepared himself mentally. Then he nodded solemnly, hooked Liang Rong’s neck and took the initiative to kiss him.

But he was pushed away by Liang Rong.

“No! I’m not an adult yet.” Liang Rong painfully said.

He rushed off to the toilet after saying that, leaving Song Ning behind who capsized in the sea of desire.

Song Ning didn’t pay any attention to Liang Rong at all the entire afternoon. Before he left, Liang Rong followed closely behind and admitted his mistake, “I’m sorry, Ah Ning. I couldn’t control myself just now. I promise I won’t do it again in the future.”

Song Ning almost passed out from that.

At night while he was showering, Song Ning stayed in the bathroom a little longer to manually relieve himself. In the moment when his pleasure reached the peak, his mind was filled with Liang Rong’s face.

Song Ning dried his body and laid on the bed, uncontrollably began to think about Liang Rong. His mature face, his spoiled and playful side and his tender and affectionate gaze when they were kissing.

This person who strolled around in front of his eyes every day now refused to spare his sleeping hours either.

Song Ning tossed and turned for a long time before finally picking up the phone to call his mother.

She never received a call this late from her son before. The first thing she asked after picking up was, “What’s wrong? Did you have a fight with Xiao Liang?”

Song Ning shook his head but remembered the other party wouldn’t see that anyway so he added, “No, we’re doing fine.”

His mother chuckled, “That’s good, that’s good.”

Song Ning did not say anything, only asking again after some time. “Mom, if two people are destined to not to have a good ending together, what should they do?”

Song Ning’s mother asked, “Do you love him?”

He answered, “I might love him more than I thought.”

48.

If love was a dream, then Song Ning wished for it to be beautiful. Even if it would be short, at least there would be no regrets.

He kept remembering what his mom told him on the phone last night. “Since you have fallen in love, then don’t worry about the gains and losses.”

Song Ning felt enlightened after listening to that.

Since the ending is already predetermined, then what is there to worry about?

As long as Liang Rong is still around, what else is more important than loving him?

49.

Later on, Song Ning and Liang Rong went to many places and shared many stories of their pasts.

That two years were more exciting than a dream, so much that he could still reminisce about them until old age even after waking up from the dream.

He will always remember that Liang Rong in the dream, held a bouquet of hydrangeas and proposed to him on one knee in the sun-splashed courtyard.

Liang Rong said, “Ah Ning, look at how many petals this hydrangea bouquet has. It signifies how many years I want to love you for.”

“It doesn’t matter if you can’t count them clearly. Because I’ll always love you.”

“Ah Ning, keep on loving me as well, okay?”

Song Ning in the dream cried while he smiled as he said to the teenager he loved the most,

“Okay.”
