A faint, indifferent voice echoed just as the words of the steward Wu had barely faded. Accompanied by a youth exuding a faintly cold aura, he appeared before Wan'er.

The youth's icy face could not conceal the resolute features, and his pitch-black eyes under his sword-like brows seemed shrouded in mist, yet they exuded a piercing sharpness. His brows and forehead revealed a maturity that did not match his age, but he did not appear old. His calmness was laced with sharpness, and he carried a complex aura.

This aura was somewhat arrogant and somewhat wicked, as if it came from within his bones, a kind of wild pride. At first glance, it did not give one a sense of pressure, but if one looked for too long, it could make one shudder involuntarily.

The one who arrived was none other than Su Yi. He had just finished washing up and, with his keen perception, had already figured out what had happened from the commotion outside.

"Master Su Yi!"

Several servants, upon seeing the youth who had appeared out of nowhere, instinctively trembled.

Even if the tiger had lost its might, no one had dared to provoke this young master in the past, who was feared by all.

At this moment, these servants stared at the youth, wondering if this was really the young master who had returned in a wretched state, as rumored. Dressed in a blue robe with black cloud-patterned sleeves, his attire was spotless, and his black hair moved slightly. Despite his seemingly slender frame, his back was exceptionally straight, like a sharp blade, exuding immense resilience.

Such a youth did not seem to match the rumors of a useless young master.

Wan'er was also somewhat dazed, sensing something different about Master Su Yi compared to three years ago.

But no matter what, this was the Su Yi she had in her heart, and he had returned.

"Master Su Yi, Steward Wu—"

Wan'er's expression then turned tense. She knew that Steward Wu was not an easy person to deal with, rumored to be on the verge of becoming a true warrior.

Moreover, it was said that Steward Wu had a powerful backer. Given Master Su Yi's current status in the Su family, it would be difficult for him to come out on top, and Wan'er began to worry.

"Don't worry. Tell me, has this dog servant bullied you over the years?"

Looking at Wan'er's originally delicate hands now calloused, and the valuable items in his courtyard that had vanished, Su Yi could easily imagine the life Wan'er had led over the past three years.

"Master Su Yi, I'm fine. But the things in the courtyard have all been taken away by Steward Wu and his people. I'm useless and couldn't protect Master Su Yi's belongings," Wan'er said softly, her face full of self-reproach.

"Has this dog servant also withheld your monthly pay over the years?"

Su Yi did not care about the material things in the courtyard. When he was still in the Su family, he had always treated Wan'er like a sister, living a life of luxury far beyond that of other servants.

But looking at Wan'er now, dressed in rough clothes, and knowing that the Su family paid their servants well and offered excellent benefits, Su Yi suspected that someone had deliberately withheld Wan'er's monthly pay, and Steward Wu was responsible for this.

"Monthly pay, I—"

Wan'er hesitated, her eyes meeting Su Yi's, which seemed to have an invisible power. She then mustered the courage to say, "Steward Wu said I wasn't registered with the Su family, so I don't get a monthly pay. If I didn't comply with him, he would kick me out of the Su family."

Su Yi's eyes turned cold. He had thought that Wan'er's monthly pay had only been withheld, but he never imagined that these dog servants would be so bold, not only withholding her pay but also targeting her.

For three years, with no monthly pay and suffering various abuses, Su Yi found it hard to imagine how this frail girl had managed to survive.

Thinking of this, Su Yi felt immense pain in his heart.

Su Yi had never treated Wan'er as a servant; in his heart, she had always been his sister.

For three years, she had been bullied to such an extent!

"What a despicable dog servant!"

Su Yi's gaze fixed on Steward Wu, his black eyes filled with coldness, like two bottomless abysses, exuding a sharp aura.

This aura made Steward Wu feel a chill, and he involuntarily shivered.

But then, Steward Wu gritted his teeth, his eyes turning cold.

Over the years, as Steward Wu, he had a powerful backer, and even some people in the Su family would nod to him. He had never been treated with such disdain, being called a dog servant.

The Su Yi before him was indeed a young master of the Su family, but he was no longer the same.

"Su Yi, don't be too arrogant. I'm here to inform you that the family might reclaim this courtyard. You—"

"Slap slap!"

Before Steward Wu could finish, a crisp slap echoed, leaving a red mark on his face, and a mouthful of blood and teeth spewed out.

The servants were stunned, unable to react in time to see what had happened.

"You dare to hit me—"

Steward Wu was also stunned, his face blank, seemingly unable to believe it.

"Slap!"

Su Yi slapped him again, the crisp sound of the slap answering for him. Steward Wu's other cheek immediately turned red and swollen, and he spat out blood.

"Worthless, you actually dare to hit me! Do you think I won't deal with you!"

Steward Wu, shocked and angry, finally came to his senses. He steeled his resolve and suddenly swung his arm, delivering a powerful punch directly at Su Yi's chest.

Steward Wu's punch was delivered with absolute force.

As a steward of the Su family, though a servant, he had the qualifications to practice martial arts.

Steward Wu was not too old, having successfully built his foundation in his early thirties. If he could reach the Yuan Soul stage in the coming years, his status in the Su family would surely rise.

Seeing Steward Wu's powerful punch, Su Yi's eyes only twitched slightly. He took a step to the left, drew in a deep breath, and then twisted his waist.

With a "whoosh," Steward Wu's punch, accompanied by the sound of air bursting, grazed past Su Yi's chest.

Everything seemed to be as expected. Su Yi's expression remained unchanged. He suddenly moved his wrist, curved his fingers, and grabbed Steward Wu's waist.

At this moment, Steward Wu, surprised that Su Yi had dodged his punch, suddenly felt a sense of extreme danger.

"Crack crack"

The sound of bones breaking echoed, and Steward Wu let out a惨叫, his body convulsing violently as he fell to the ground, twitching uncontrollably.

Everything happened in a flash!

Su Yi's claw had directly broken several of Steward Wu's ribs.

Steward Wu was no weakling; he could have handled a few tigers or wolves. Yet, he was utterly helpless against Su Yi, his ribs broken with ease.

At the same time, Su Yi silently rushed forward. His seemingly gentle and resolute face suddenly revealed sharp fangs, and he delivered a powerful punch directly to Steward Wu's face.

"Bang!"

It was too fast. Steward Wu's half face seemed to shatter, the bones caving in, his face twisted, and he spat out a mouthful of blood, looking both pitiful and terrifying.

"Damn it, how dare you bully Wan'er!"

"Disrespecting your master, today I'll teach you how to be a servant!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

Su Yi, enraged, pummeled Steward Wu with a rain of punches and kicks. He picked up a brick from the ground and mercilessly smashed it down.

"Ah—"

The pitiful Steward Wu screamed repeatedly, but after a few hits, he could no longer make a sound, his face bloodied and deformed, his bones cracking.

"Dog servant, do you still want Wan'er to comply with you?"

Su Yi, in a fit of rage, delivered the final blow with the brick, shattering Steward Wu's groin, leaving it a bloody mess, a sight too gruesome to behold.

"Ah—"

Steward Wu's final scream was filled with fear and pain, his eyes blacking out as he fainted.

Su Yi threw the brick aside, dusted off his hands, his expression cold and stern.

The servants trembled, their eyes filled with fear.

At this moment, the youth who had just calmed down seemed to ignite the air, making their hearts race and their spines chill.

"Drag this dog servant away. Tell those who need to know that the monthly pay owed to Wan'er must be repaid a hundredfold. If anything is missing from my courtyard, even a piece of paper, and I don't see it in three days, everyone involved will meet the same fate as this dog servant!"

Su Yi's voice was stern, his anger genuine.

Even servants dared to act so arrogantly in front of him. It seemed that the Su family had changed a lot over the past three years. It was necessary to remind everyone that he was not dead and had returned to the Su family.

After a moment of silence, the servants, trembling, lifted the unconscious and crippled Steward Wu and hurriedly left.
