Whilst Ruan Xi Yuan was arranging the umbrella, Lu Ding Ning went to the restroom to make her own preparations for the night. After changing into a bespoke white suit, she removed a small water balloon from the pant’s pocket she was initially wearing.

This small water balloon, resembling a chicken egg, was specially ordered by her mother. Its only purpose was to help make Ding Ning’s disguise as a male even more convincing.

After carefully tucking the small water balloon into her crotch area, Ding Ning checked to make sure everything was all in place.

At tonight’s engagement party, there was sure to be trouble ahead and who knew what kind of weird situation she might find herself in, it wouldn’t hurt to take more precautions.

After once again confirming that her “manhood” was in the right position, Lu Ding Ning went to the engagement party with Ruan Xi Yuan, who was already ready with the umbrella.

The engagement party was held at the 3 story hotel, Grand Ballroom of the Caesar Hotel.

Lu Yi Ning’s appearance had caused a fair share of well-dressed men and women to stare at him.

Not just in anticipation of the upcoming drama between Lu Yi Ning and the newly engaged couple, but also because he seemed more charming than usual.

Dressed in a white suit, she became the embodiment of peerlessness with regards to her looks.

Ruan Xi Yuan, following closely behind Lu Ding Ning, was actually quite worried that Lu Ding Ning wouldn’t be able to adapt to this environment.

Unexpectedly, under the intense pressure from the watching crowd, Lu Ding Ning not only did not show any signs of nervousness, she on the contrary proudly raised her indifferent face that had an air of inviolability around her.

Seeing this, Ruan Xi Yuan breathed a sigh of relief. Glancing at the surroundings, he then came to Lu Ding Ning’s ear and whispered softly, “The person approaching you from 10 o’clock is Jin Shang.”

“The one holding Jin Shang’s hand is Ke Jia Ling!”

Because of Ruan Xi Yuan’s reminder, Lu Ding Ning realized that the “adulterous couple” had appeared!

“Young Master Lu, I’m really delighted that you came to mine and Jia Ling’s engagement party.”

In the blink of an eye, he smoothed back his ink black hair to reveal his squarish face. Jin Shang wearing a black tuxedo approached Lu Ding Ning’s side in a high-spirited manner.

If it weren’t for observing that Jin Shang had an evil smirk in his smile while looking at Ke Jia Ling who had her arms wrapped around his, Lu Ding Ning would have almost believed that Jin Shang was truly welcoming him to the party.

At this moment, Lu Ding Ning was still smiling captivatingly. Her smile made people feel as if there was an air of nobility surrounding her as she captivated them.

Lost in a trance, some arrogant guests found themselves inexplicably confused. In an effort to save themselves some pride, they convinced themselves that “Lu Yi Ning” was merely feigning a smile of happiness.

The still smiling Lu Ding Ning, slightly raised the corners of her lips and said, “I’m also happy for you today, the bitch has finally found a dog that matches her…”

That last sentence instantly broke the exuberant expression of the couple.

Ruan Xi Yuan, standing closeby, struggled to maintain his composure. Who could blame him, anyone in his position would also want to laugh after hearing that exchange.

Without waiting for Jin Shang to speak, Lu Ding Ning added, “Young Master Jin, here’s some friendly advice for you, Jia Ling’s bed is practically public property, you had better keep watch of it.”

That’s right, Lu Ding Ning wasn’t here to give the couple her blessings, she was here to stir up trouble!

In fact, from the moment Lu Ding Ning appeared till now, her eyes had not once left Jin Shang’s squarish face.

She wanted to see if her presence …… No, it should be “Lu Yi Ning’s” presence would make Jin Shang feel that something wasn’t right.

Lastly, there has been a lot of speculation of her brother taking his own life after being dumped thanks to the Jin family’s media companies.

These strings of evidence clearly points at the Jin family.

Of course, that’s not the only reason why she, Lu Ding Ning, decided to attend the engagement party!

She had wanted to find out if her brother was in the hands of the Jin family.

Although, looking at how Jin Shang behaved and how he didn’t seem too surprised by her appearance, it ruled out her brother being in the hands of the Jin family.

Since her brother clearly wasn’t in their hands, she’d have to take it seriously and start stirring up some shit to get justice for her good-natured brother!

Unexpectedly, it wasn’t Jin Shang that responded but Ke Jia Ling, who was blushing and shouting, “Yi Ning, don’t you dare slander me by speaking nonsense!”

In contrast with Ke Jia Ling’s fierce response, Lu Ding Ning showed a carefree expression. After all, she wasn’t the one who had a good time with Ke Jia Ling initially. “Ah, accusing me of speaking nonsense. Why don’t you think about the feelings of all the condoms we’ve used?”
