Chapter 0018: Eating Habit

After doing all that, Lin Yi started to prepare the broth. In reality, it's not possible for a household to prepare a large pot of broth like a restaurant and keep it for daily use. Lin Yi chose a box of concentrated broth from the cabinet, which he had never seen before, but it looked good. Once it was in the pot, the aroma quickly filled the air.

"Don't you have drinks behind you?" Lin Yi pointed to the refrigerator behind Chen Yushu and then served himself another bowl of noodles.

"It's not good to drink juice in the morning. Drinking plain water is healthier... Why do you talk so much? Are you going to get it or not?" Chen Yushu glared at him impatiently.

"Alright..." Lin Yi put the bowl of noodles on the table and went to the living room to get water for Chen Yushu. He had no choice since she had something on him.

"Where is your cup?" Halfway there, Lin Yi realized he hadn't seen Chen Yushu's cup and didn't know what to use to pour the water.

"Oh, it's in the cabinet under the water dispenser. The pink one is mine," Chen Yushu said.

Lin Yi nodded and walked to the water dispenser.

"Ah—so sleepy, that annoying alarm clock." Chu Mengyao yawned as she sleepily came down the stairs. She hadn't slept well all night, thinking about losing her first kiss and crying to Chen Yushu for half the night. Eventually, she was so tired that she fell asleep. When she woke up, she wasn't as sad about yesterday's events.

However, Chu Mengyao felt like she hadn't slept long before the alarm clock woke her up. She didn't want to get up, but she had to go to school, so she got up.

Noticing that Chen Yushu wasn't beside her, Chu Mengyao was puzzled. She had been talking to her all night, and Chen Yushu seemed to have gone to bed late too. Why did she get up so early?

Chen Yushu was drinking the noodle broth, which she found quite tasty. She didn't want to waste it. Just as she was drinking, she heard Chu Mengyao's words. She wanted to speak but saw that Chen Yushu had already picked up her chopsticks: "Uh..."

Chen Yushu sighed and held back her words. She thought, "It's not my fault. Why did you move so fast? I didn't even get to speak, and you started eating!"

"Really fragrant, so delicious," Chu Mengyao was really hungry. After taking a bite of the Yangchun noodles, she couldn't stop. She praised them while eating: "Xiao Shu, where did you buy them?"

"I didn't buy them... Arrow Brother made them." Chen Yushu shrugged, looking at Chu Mengyao with sympathy. She didn't want to hurt Chu Mengyao's already fragile heart.

"Ah!" Chu Mengyao was shocked: "He made them? I don't want to eat anything he made..." She put down her chopsticks.

Chen Yushu thought, "You've already eaten it. What's the point of saying you won't eat it now? But since you already ate Lin Yi's saliva yesterday, it doesn't matter today. You'll get used to it... hehe," she thought evilly.

"Hmph, who would refuse food? I'll eat it!" After putting down her chopsticks, Chu Mengyao felt her mouth watering. Looking at the fragrant noodles in front of her, she couldn't resist.
