ps: The book reviews collected in this slap are shamelessly praising "The Born Typing Maniac." The longer, the better, of course, as long as they are substantial. Otherwise, I would be embarrassed? (????ω????)?~

Holding the Wind:

The first time I saw this book was on the Sanjiang page, where the review said, "An unconventional writer's stream work, seeing the daily life of a web novel god. Though it's mundane, there are occasional ripples; though there are low points, it never truly flattens out."

At the time, I was somewhat dismissive when I saw Sanjiang's review of this book as an unconventional writer's stream work. Nowadays, writer's stream and entertainment novels on Qidian have been written to death by authors. How unconventional could it be?

However, thinking that any book that makes it to Sanjiang can't be bad, and also because I was quite bored at the time, I clicked into this book.

But I never expected that after reading the first chapter, this book gave me a refreshing feeling. It really is an unconventional writer's stream work.

From the first chapter, it's clear that the protagonist doesn't transmigrate, reincarnate, or plagiarize novels, music, or movies like in other books. Instead, he is a genuine original creator!

Just one word: original. Yes, original. Seeing these two words immediately hooked me.

Then, the simple classmate relationships between Tong Yan, Tian Zini, and Ye Qingzhu made me recall my high school classmates, friends, and the little girl next to me...

Tong Yan is quite silly, even sillier than Song Rao, who appears later!

Tian Zini and Ye Qingzhu, this pair of best friends, give the impression of the groups of girls around everyone in high school.

Next, the character Song Rao appeared. My first impression of her was that she was silly, yes, just like the author's thoughts, silly. When she saw Tong Yan sneaking out of school to stay up all night, her first reaction was actually to be secretly pleased, but her subsequent behavior gave me another perspective...

Then, from the moment the protagonist published his novel, I thought the author would make the protagonist a god with one book (because many novels follow this path). Even if he couldn't become a god with one book, he should at least gain some fame! (Hmm, I was also thinking, is this book going to fall into the cliché again?)

However, unexpectedly, the author made the protagonist abandon his book! How shameful, abandoning it...

But, it was precisely because of this book that the protagonist's new book could be signed internally so quickly. It also shows that, like most new authors, the protagonist's first book was mostly cut due to lack of experience, and it set the stage for his next book. The protagonist's mother's illness further emphasized this plot point...

Another highlight of this book is the teacher-student relationship between Tong Yan and Song Xiancheng, as well as the indescribable feelings between him and Song Rao. There's also the family affection and the relationship with his roommates, and the only minor antagonist, Duan Hou, who isn't really an antagonist, after all, who doesn't have a few jealous peers in their youth...

...

Damn, I can't continue...

Great author, can you give me an essence?

Although it looks messy, it did take a lot of effort.

Mibai Fo: Not only will I give you an essence, but also an additional 15 points. This is truly a refreshing book review~~

NO.2.

Jinghonghb:

I saw this book by chance while browsing the client. Looking at the title "The Born Typing Maniac," I thought it would be about plagiarizing novels. I've read many of these kinds of stories, where the protagonist transmigrates to a parallel world or the past, or remembers future novels and gets a system. If I remember correctly, this trend was started by a literary giant. These novels are all similar, and after reading too many, the interest wanes. Out of boredom, I read the first chapter.

It was the prologue, a fan from the future. Ha, just as I expected, the future fan comes to give the protagonist a golden finger. Hmm, with so much knowledge, stealing ideas, plagiarizing novels, making big money, and stomping on others, reaching the peak of life is just a matter of minutes. Then, then... it seems I was slapped in the face by the author... it turned out to be original!!! Even if it was original, I had read a book called "The Master of the City Reborn," where the protagonist reincarnates in the future and writes original stories. "The Born Typing Maniac" is similar, and at this point, I became interested in the book. I thought, even if "The Little Soldier's History" doesn't make the protagonist a god, it should at least cause a stir, the only question being why the author's name isn't Tong Yan Wu Ji (at the time, it hadn't been abandoned yet, uh, this sentence feels a bit strange...).

Gradually, I had a feeling that this book was different! For a reader with niche tastes like me, such a book is like a godsend! I decisively added it to my bookshelf and started following it!

At the same time, I read it again carefully (the first time, I underestimated "The Born Typing Maniac" and didn't read it carefully), and then I fell deeply in love with it.

Tong Yan is a genius, a born typing maniac, which is the foundation of his future success. The fan-like golden finger just brought out his talent earlier, but with just that, Tong Yan will surely reach even greater heights, which is inevitable and what readers look forward to.

However, the author took the opposite approach and didn't immediately make Tong Yan invincible. A genius has exceptional abilities, but success doesn't come easily. In the face of various difficulties, Tong Yan's first novel, unexpectedly and reasonably, was abandoned.

As a niche book, it doesn't have the various fantasies found in many urban novels. Instead, it has the green youth, the pure high school campus, and no real antagonists. Even if there are grudges, they are forgotten after ten years. In a mundane life, the small characters' struggles and wisdom are portrayed. There isn't much erotic content, just a faint affection and pure feelings. There's no satisfaction in punching brain-dead rich second generations or kicking silly bureau chiefs (which becomes a sore point after reading too many), but it reads smoothly and evokes various beautiful memories, as well as some faint regrets.

Regarding who Tong Yan will end up with, I hope it's a single heroine, but if so, Tong Yan and some or several others will have a fated but unfulfilled relationship. The green hat plot must not appear. I hope the author can give a good ending to the female supporting characters who have a fated but unfulfilled relationship, after all, no one wants to see a character who was initially charming and youthful end up unrecognizable.

I really like this book, so I talked a lot. I will continue to support it after it goes on sale. Author, keep it up!

Mibai Fo: Definitely no green hat, kind-hearted girls also deserve a happy ending~ Thank you again for the long review!

NO3.

Silin: First of all, it's real, it's rare to see such a realistic novel. I was truly touched.

The talented protagonist, who is whimsical or perhaps stubborn because of his talent. Although I haven't reached that level, I can't deny that I sometimes have a similar arrogance. So, I felt a sense of identification.

Combined with the protagonist's character, I really love it. He is self-respecting and self-loving, with a clear direction in life. He knows how to cherish his family and make choices.

This is completely different from me. I understand the importance of studying and learning, but I can't see the future.

Such a determined and principled boy makes me see his shadow.

On the female side, although Song Rao is also cute, I ultimately prefer Tian Xiaoni, not just because of her sincere feelings, but also because of their interactions.

She shares her life with him, even though leaving messages is such a troublesome and intangible thing—always with the anxiety of not getting a response.

He responds to each of her messages, doing something that seems natural but is seen as considerate and gentle by others.

She is frustrated by his poor grades but still cares for him deeply.

Finally, I want to talk about the abandonment plot. I was actually a bit surprised that there would be such a plot.

But the author did a lot of groundwork and the situation is very reasonable.

He is still too naive. Being a writer is not an easy job.

With this lesson, he will surely do better next time. I am very confident.

Because he is a truly talented person.

And the plot twist is also very reasonable. Because of his family's serious illness and their expectations, these reasons are truly impeccable.

The exam results after his illness were really touching! Because of a certain event, he burst with determination and achieved results that surprised everyone.

Mibai Fo: This is a girl's feelings about the book and her own story...
