Upon hearing that Ang was looking for a suitable planting area, Esk immediately volunteered to lead the way.

This is one of the seven planting areas in the underground city. Since it is not abandoned, it cannot be given to Ang. However, after passing through this planting area, they came to another sinkhole, which was overgrown with weeds.

Esk introduced, "This sinkhole is the best in terms of terrain among all our planting areas. It is large, flat, and closer to the surface, with good lighting conditions. The biggest drawback is the lack of water, and some of the Resting Winds can seep to the surface, making part of the pit unsuitable for planting."

Esk's tone was filled with regret. No matter how good the terrain or how fertile the soil, the lack of water makes this area unsuitable for planting.

Although water could be carried from elsewhere, the manpower required would be too great. The food produced might not even be enough to sustain the labor force.

On the other hand, the Resting Winds are easier to manage. Building some structures to redirect the airflow would prevent it from reaching the surface. This kind of fluid dynamics might seem complex, but any wind element mage could handle it.

After the introduction, Esk prepared to take Ang to the next sinkhole, which, though not as well-situated, at least had a water source for irrigation.

However, Ang turned to Filin and said, "How much for this place?"

"Ah? This place? But there's no water," Filin said in surprise. But then he found his own reason: "Indeed, with your strength, the presence of a water source is not important. As for the money, there's no need. It's just wasteland, as long as you can grow food and sell it to us."

Wasteland belongs to whoever can cultivate it. The underground city even encourages people to reclaim it. Every additional acre of land that can be planted means more food for the underground city.

However, very few people have the ability and technology to reclaim and cultivate the land. In the end, it is still the underground city's official efforts, mainly Filin's, that support it. He has a large number of skeleton and zombie laborers that can compensate for the disadvantages of the terrain and yield.

If someone can grow food, it would ease the pressure on Filin. Even if they have to buy it, at least there would be a place to buy food, which is currently in short supply.

As long as Ang is willing to plant, Filin would be happy to provide some subsidies, even for free.

No money? Ang tilted his head, a bit confused. He was just a small skeleton who plants vegetables, and the concept of money was something Filin had instilled in him. Now, no money?

No money, so be it. As long as there's a place to plant, that's fine.

Back at the temple, a row of women were squatting at the entrance, looking expectantly. The temple was not a place for guests, and there wasn't even a chair.

"My Lord, this is Anna, the second in line to inherit the Winter City, who now oversees all the city's affairs. This is her teacher, Lan," Lisa introduced.

Ang tilted his head in confusion. Wasn't it supposed to be a trip to Ice City to exchange magic crystals? Why did they bring a lich and a person back, and where were the magic crystals?

"It's like this, my Lord. Miss Anna hopes to do a big business deal with you. I couldn't decide, so they came to talk to you personally," Lisa explained.

What kind of business? He didn't understand and didn't want to talk about it. Ang shook his head and walked into the temple, leaving the three women standing there in shock.

Seeing Ang return, the angel skeleton spread its wings and flew toward him until the rope tightened. The angel skeleton then raised its arm, showing the injury it had sustained in a fight.

It had become a habit for it to fight with the small zombies, and for Ang to heal it. Ang turned and walked over, using the Purification spell to heal the injury on its arm.

The angel skeleton then lifted its leg, showing the injury on its knee.

Ang had no choice but to use another Purification spell, but as his hand touched the knee, it inadvertently brushed against the angel skeleton's skirt.

The stains on the white skirt disintegrated under the holy light, revealing its original purity, leaving a clean streak on the dirty skirt.

Curious, Ang cast another Purification spell directly on the skirt. Indeed, the stains disappeared wherever the holy light touched, revealing the correct use of the Purification spell.

Ang purified all the stains on the white skirt, then, with a bit of OCD, continued to clean the stains on the angel skeleton's face and hair until there was no dirt left.

The three women outside the temple looked at each other. Anna said excitedly, "Isn't this scene magical? A skeleton is purifying the dirt from a battle angel. I have to draw this; it's almost a masterpiece."

The other two nodded in agreement. It was indeed magical, with a skeleton and an angel harmoniously appearing in the same scene, and the skeleton using the Purification spell instead of the angel, who actually had dirt on her.

"What does Lord Ang mean? We haven't even discussed the terms, and he just walked away. Does he not want to talk to us?" Lan asked worriedly.

Lisa thought for a moment and hesitantly nodded, "I was careless. If I hadn't offered my faith, I wouldn't have the right to discuss with him. His will is divine."

Lan nodded, agreeing with Lisa. After all, in their understanding, Ang might be a projection of the King.

What is the King? A being even more powerful than a god. It is rumored that the Undead King has sealed (Bronze Dragon: That's me) or slaughtered more than one or two gods. They were actually bold enough to discuss business with the King?

Anna was a bit scared and nervously stuck out her tongue.

"What should we do now?" They didn't have the right to discuss with Ang, but without a large amount of holy mushroom powder, their previously agreed-upon plan would be impossible.

"Start with an exchange. Use the highest price you can offer. If the demand is high, my Lord might expand the scale. Look at how Filin is now exchanging a large amount of food; my Lord is preparing to cultivate new farmland," Lisa said.

It was just that Ang didn't understand what business was and didn't want to talk about it, but they interpreted it as him disliking them, thinking it made sense.

"What price should we offer? The Light Church used to sell holy mushroom powder for 20 magic crystals per pound. Let's offer 30 magic crystals and see if the Lord agrees."

Lisa brought this offer to Ang, who nodded in agreement, a bit puzzled. He was puzzled because Lisa had said that 20 magic crystals per pound was the normal price, so why did it suddenly become 30 magic crystals?
