"The body couldn't withstand this power and burned to ashes," Feilin said with a heavy heart.

"Roar!" The little zombie shook off the lava giant and ran over, wildly waving its hands to grab the black ash and stuff it back onto the angel skeleton, seemingly trying to prevent its disintegration.

However, the ash looked clumpy, but it turned to dust as soon as it was touched. In the end, the little zombie only managed to grab a handful of ash, unable to save anything. It howled in distress, grabbing the angel skeleton's shoulders and shaking it.

The angel skeleton was almost shaken apart, and it swung its fist, smashing it into the little zombie's eye socket.

Shaken by the little zombie, the black ash on the angel skeleton scattered, revealing a relatively intact skeleton. It turned out that only the flesh and feathers had disintegrated.

"Roar!" The little zombie, sitting on the ground and holding its eye, was not angry but delighted, calling out in surprise. If it could still hit him, it must be fine, right?

Anger glanced at the angel skeleton and saw that its flesh had disintegrated, but the skeleton was still relatively intact, with only the wing bones slightly cracked and the soul somewhat weakened.

Turning to aim the Rain Spell at the lava giant, a continuous stream of water droplets turned the lava giant into a mudstone giant, which melted before it could reach Anger.

On the other side, Esk had also worn down the lava giant to collapse. The group then headed toward Tulus, a few kilometers away.

Arriving at where Tulus had fallen, they saw that his body had disintegrated, leaving only a rough shape, like a shattered stone statue.

"Is that it? A Saint Light Flash shouldn't be able to kill a high-ranking demon. What's going on?" Feilin kicked Tulus's remains in confusion.

The Saint Light Flash looked fierce, but it was cast by an angel skeleton, and it was using Anger's power. In terms of raw power, it wasn't enough to destroy a high-ranking demon.

The mudstone-like remains shattered, but there seemed to be something hard inside, which Feilin's kick hit.

Pulling his foot out, he found his big toe broken and bent to one side. Feilin didn't care, forcefully straightening it and then stomping on the mud-like remains, scattering them to reveal what was underneath.

It was a black rock with a metallic sheen, clearly very sturdy.

Feilin's brows furrowed: "A Demon Monument? This is troublesome."

"This is a Demon Monument? The one that turns the demon's bloodline into stone, merging with the earth, making it indestructible? The lava demon's rebirth skill?" Esk exclaimed in surprise.

"Ha ha ha... You have good knowledge, recognizing the Earth Monument. Calling it a Demon Monument is also correct, as it's something you can't break, ha ha ha!!!" Accompanied by a strange laugh, Tulus's shadow appeared on the rock.

Esk ignored him and tried to move the rock but found it immovable. "Can't move it?"

"Can't move it. It's connected to the earth, essentially a type of earth barrier. Unless our power is strong enough to move the entire earth here, we can't move it," Feilin shook his head.

"Can't break it? What about magic?" Esk picked up a rock and smashed it, then used magic to blast it, but the rock remained unscathed. Digging around it, they found it was fused with the underground rock, making it impossible to move.

"It's not possible. Unless I gather all the undead and have thousands of them work together, we might be able to move it, but..." Feilin looked at the sky.

The sky was already darkening, and soon the Resting Wind would blow. This was the real reason Tulus boldly used the Demon Monument. If the enemy had all night to work on it, even if the monument was tightly connected to the earth, it would be hard to resist various methods.

But with the Resting Wind blowing, everyone had to find shelter. By the next morning, he would be fully recovered and could take advantage of the opportunity to be reborn.

As if on cue, the wind suddenly picked up.

"Let's go back. We'll come back tomorrow and see if he hasn't run away. Then we'll think of a way to move him," Feilin said regretfully.

He knew this was unlikely. As long as Tulus wasn't completely stupid, he would definitely run as soon as the wind stopped. But what could they do? Since they couldn't move the monument in a short time, they had to accept this fact.

At that moment, Anger suddenly drew his scythe and slashed at the stone monument.

With a sharp clang, the scythe struck the stone, sending sparks flying. The monument remained unharmed, and a small piece of the scythe's blade chipped off.

"Ha ha ha, you think you can cut the Earth Monument with a broken farming tool? Ha ha ha, that's hilarious. Come on, cut it, use more force," Tulus's shadow laughed heartily.

Anger ignored him and drew back the scythe, slashing at it again with more force.

Even Feilin couldn't stand it anymore and advised, "Sir, it's not possible. No one has ever heard of a Demon Monument being cut by a blade. Let's go back."

Anger ignored him because a louder voice was urging him in his soul: "You just haven't heard of it. You lack knowledge. Keep cutting, use the power of your soul, use more force, more force! Only the blade of the soul can break the monument, the Reaper's Scythe!"

Under Nigris's urging, Anger's soul fire surged into the scythe, which emitted a glow, seemingly growing larger as it sliced through the stone.

There was no collision, no sharp sound. It was as if either the stone or the scythe had suddenly turned into a shadow, passing through each other. The only change was that the scythe blade caught a ball of soul fire.

On the stone, Tulus's shadow disappeared, replaced by the agonized screams coming from the soul fire.

Feilin and Esk stared in disbelief. "Sir, you... you pulled out his soul?"

It seemed so. Anger tilted his head and reached out to grab the soul fire.

Without its soul, the indestructible stone suddenly lost its luster, turning gray and fading, and finally crumbling like weathered rock.

The Resting Wind grew stronger, and the group hurried back, returning to the pit before the wind became too fierce.

On the way, the soul fire was restless. Esk, being human, could only feel some irritating waves from the soul fire, while Anger, Feilin, and the other undead could hear the soul fire's voice.

"How can this be? My soul was pulled out by you? How is that possible? The Earth Monument is broken? You severed my bloodline's connection to the earth? How is that possible? How is that possible? It's all fake, fake, fake!!!"

In Anger's soul, Nigris sneered disdainfully: "Ignorant. The Reaper's Scythe and King's Arrival are the two most famous skills of the Golden Skull. This demon has never heard of them? Truly died in ignorance. As for you, Anger, you surprised me. You used the Reaper's Scythe for the first time, and you did it perfectly. You're a real freak."
