Everyone was chatting and laughing, and before they knew it, they had been eating for a long time. After the meal, Ji Yushan didn't sit for long before bidding farewell. Du Long drove her home on his electric scooter. Ji Yushan sat behind Du Long, lost in thought the whole way.
Du Long turned his head and asked, "Yushan, I still have one more day off. What shift are you on tomorrow? Do you want to go anywhere to play?"
Ji Yushan said, "I have the day shift tomorrow. How about we go to the movies in the evening?"
Du Long, naturally, was more than happy. He smiled and said, "Sure, what kind of movie do you like?"
Ji Yushan replied, "You decide. Any movie before 7:30 PM. It's not good to come home too late."
"No problem!" Du Long smiled happily.
Finally, they arrived at Ji Yushan's building. Du Long parked the scooter, and Ji Yushan stood facing him. She hesitated, and Du Long smiled and asked, "Do you have something else to say to me?"
Ji Yushan shook her head and said, "Nothing, go back early and take care of yourself. Don't work too hard."
Du Long was delighted to see her showing concern. He said, "I will. You should rest early too. I won't call you tonight."
"Have you ever called?" Ji Yushan gave him a playful glare and turned to run upstairs.
Du Long slept soundly and peacefully that night, waking up at dawn. During his morning exercise, he kept thinking about how to seize the opportunity and win over this little girl.
Du Long helped out at the barber shop for two hours, then went to deposit some money. He arrived at the only cinema in the West District, the Golden Classic Cinema. It was Monday, and Du Long arrived early, so there was no one in line. However, Du Long still spent some time deliberating which movie to watch.
Currently, there were three domestic films and one imported film showing. If it were just Du Long, he would definitely choose "Jurassic Park 4" without hesitation. But would Ji Yushan like this violent and bloody sci-fi movie?
After much thought, Du Long still bought two tickets for "Jurassic Park." Maybe Ji Yushan would be scared and snuggle into his arms? At the very least, it would be better than falling asleep while watching a domestic film with a stupid plot and poor acting.
After buying the tickets, Du Long was about to go home when his phone rang. He picked it up and saw that it was Yang Chengfa calling.
Du Long answered the call and asked with a smile, "Director Yang, I'm on leave today. Is there something urgent that you need me to come back to work for?"
Yang Chengfa chuckled and said, "No, I'm not calling you back to work. I just have something to tell you... Du Long, did you beat up four thieves in Cuihu Park the day before yesterday?"
