Chapter 36: Brother Long

Suddenly hearing such a bastard's words, Ji Yunsan's face instantly turned red. Du Long snorted and, looking at the man with a displeased expression, said, "Friend, you're drunk. Go home and warm up with your own woman."

At the table sat four young, strong men. They had taken off their shirts and placed them on their shoulders, exposing their chests and backs, which were covered in large tattoos. They clearly weren't good people. On their table were a few bottles of beer, but they had only just started drinking and were far from drunk.

Hearing Du Long's words, the man who had spoken slammed his glass heavily on the table. The other three young men stood up abruptly, looking fierce as they shouted, "Kid, how do you talk to Brother Gang like that?"

Ji Yunsan, nervous, pushed Du Long's knee under the low table and whispered, "Du Long, let's go quickly."

Du Long reached out and held her small hand, comforting her, "It's fine. Have you forgotten the four thieves I caught? These few aren't even worth mentioning."

Ji Yunsan remembered the day Du Long had subdued four knife-wielding thugs by himself, and her heart immediately calmed down. She forgot that Du Long had actually only caught three, but it didn't matter.

Du Long glanced sideways at the four men with disdain and said, "I only know of a Brother Xiong in Xishan District. When did a Brother Gang appear? You'd better disappear immediately, or you'll regret it in the end!"

The man was startled and tried to pull the chair back forcefully. Du Long suddenly let go and kicked the man's ankle, causing him to flip and land on his back. As his large body was about to crash onto Du Long's stir-fried rice, Du Long grabbed his ankle and pulled him back.

The man landed heavily at Du Long's feet, and the impact almost disintegrated his sturdy body. He groaned and couldn't get up for a moment. Du Long stepped on his chest and looked at the other three young men, who were stunned, and said, "Come on, since you've already started, let me warm up a bit."

The three young men were hesitating when a loud voice came from the roadside, "Stop! You little ruffians, stop!"

Du Long glanced sideways at the speaker and saw that it was Viper, Brother Xiong's subordinate, walking over with two others. He looked at Du Long with a mix of respect and disbelief.

The three young men immediately regained their confidence upon seeing Viper. However, Viper came to Du Long, bent down, and smiled apologetically, "Officer Du, this is a misunderstanding. They are all Brother Xiong's people, and I'm in charge of them. I'm to blame for not managing them strictly enough. I was away for a moment, and these kids got out of hand. Officer Du, you did well to discipline them. They won't dare to misbehave again, right?"

Du Long sneered, "Viper, why don't you speak the truth? First, I'm a police officer, and you're a thug. We will never be on the same side. Second, I saw you and them whispering behind the phone booth, and then you hid while they sat next to me. Viper, if you want to test me, just say it. Why go through all this trouble? Do you still not understand? Do you want me to go to Brother Xiong with you and explain clearly?"

Viper cursed Du Long's keen eyes in his heart and smiled bitterly, "Officer Du, you saw everything. I was wrong. Du Long said he wouldn't do anything illegal, but as soon as he sent Ji Yunsan home, he immediately called Viper. Viper was in some nightclub at the time, flirting with a girl. Du Long didn't bother with formalities and ordered, "Cut the crap. I need you to do something. I have two addresses and names. Find some people with no connection to you and harass them regularly. Break their windows, paint their doors... whatever it takes to make them miserable day and night. Got it? Will you do it?"

Viper's subordinates collected debts daily, and they had done such jobs many times. Hearing this, he breathed a sigh of relief and patted his chest, "Brother Long, send me the addresses. I'll take care of it. Who are these people who dared to offend Brother Long? They deserve it."

Du Long warned, "I don't want anyone to know I ordered this. So, be careful and find people with no connection to you."

Viper laughed, "Brother Long, rest assured. The people I send will do a clean job. No one will be able to trace it back to you."

Du Long nodded and said, "I'll be watching. Don't mess it up. That's all."

Du Long hung up, and Viper was stunned for a moment, then threw his phone on the sofa, cursing, "What a guy, really thinks he's my boss!"

The woman beside Viper giggled curiously, "Brother Snake, where did Brother Long come from? Why are you so polite to him?"

Viper snorted, grabbed her, pushed her onto the sofa, and pulled down her narrow panties, starting to have his way with her on the sofa.
