"Listen, if that transport aircraft is really unmanned, we can trick it down and take what we need. Can you cover our tracks so that the base can't find us after they discover something is wrong?" Wang Fusheng looked at the fat man speechlessly. They say fat people are timid, but this fat man seemed to have a boldness that matched his physique.

"That's easy. As long as we can use some of the instruments on the plane to hack into the base system, I can erase any trace of this transport aircraft having stayed in this war ruin. Although I can't clear the information in the black box in a short time, I can lock it down so that the base won't find any information that could harm us. After we get what we need from the plane, we can also hack into the base's map system to find the locations of other war ruins and hide there. The information in the black box is just a command to stay in this place. There's no video evidence, so they won't suspect us." The fat man got more excited as he spoke, almost dancing with his hands.

But Wang Fusheng heard confidence, strong confidence, in the fat man's eyes and tone. This kind of confidence was very familiar to Wang Fusheng, as he also had the same confidence in military combat, even more resolute and confident than the fat man.

"Alright, let's go. Whatever we need, as long as it's in this war ruin, I'll find it for you. But first, let's check if the signal tower is usable and if you can write a program to trick the plane's system. These are the prerequisites. If we can't do these, we'll just stay put and forget about hijacking the plane."

"Absolutely no problem. Although this is a war ruin, it's a modern city from that era. There should be old data cables and old computers. I'm very familiar with these things. Even if I can't find complete ones, I can assemble a temporary one with parts. The key is the signal tower. If it's broken and I don't have any information about it, I won't know how to fix it." The fat man frowned as he said this.

"Let's go check the signal tower first, then. Come on." Li Feng glanced out the window and saw no zombies, so he led the fat man towards the north of the city.

The two of them walked and stopped frequently. Most of the time, Wang Fusheng was fighting, while the fat man stood by, supposedly for wind protection, but really just watching Wang Fusheng fight. After two hours, they arrived at the north of the war ruin, where the signal tower, which was partially collapsed and had a damaged base, stood. Wang Fusheng looked at the fat man.

The fat man was amazed by Wang Fusheng's combat skills, watching him fight with fluid and ruthless movements. He felt that the action movies he had seen were nothing compared to this. This was real manly violence. The fat man also became curious about Wang Fusheng's identity, but Wang Fusheng didn't say anything, and the fat man didn't ask. Just like Wang Fusheng didn't ask why the fat man had such bold ideas and was so confident in computers, they trusted each other but kept their secrets.

"How's it going?" Wang Fusheng asked worriedly after the fat man had been tinkering with the signal tower for a while. Wang Fusheng had a lot to say about the system's ridiculous points exchange system, which was why he agreed to the fat man's plan. After all, in wartime, people don't die from holding their urine. If he didn't have enough points to exchange for more advanced weapons, he had to use some harmless means.

"The data lines are mostly fine, but the power lines have some issues. The main control database of the signal tower is damaged. To get it working, I need to simulate a database with the computer I assemble, which will take some time," the fat man said after checking the signal tower.

"This war ruin seems to have been destroyed not long ago, so power shouldn't be a problem. There's still a lot of electricity available. As for simulating the database, I don't understand that, but I'll find what you need. You handle it, and I'll take care of the power issue," Wang Fusheng said after a moment's thought.

"No problem. I need at least three old computer motherboards, a working monitor..." The fat man nodded and listed what he needed. Old computers were everywhere, but intact ones were rare. After all, the entire city was destroyed, and many things were damaged. With the subsequent chaos caused by the zombies, finding what the fat man needed was indeed difficult.

However, after Wang Fusheng entered a few seemingly office buildings, he managed to find everything the fat man needed. Although many things were damaged due to the collapse or cracking of the buildings, some items were still intact. Wang Fusheng brought down over ten computers that could be used after connecting to power, making the fat man very happy.

"Give me half an hour, and I can simulate a database to make the signal tower function as an airport control tower, sending a command to the transport aircraft to land. But you need to be prepared for any possible situations. If it's not a drone, war-era transport aircraft carry weapons. The pilot might launch a fire attack if they realize someone is tricking the plane."

The fat man's fingers danced nimbly on the keyboard, making Wang Fusheng speechless. As he typed, the fat man reminded Wang Fusheng to be prepared for potential dangers.

"Done. Let's go to the car factory in the north and see if we can find a working car. We need to run whether the robbery is successful or not, so a car will be useful." After half an hour, the fat man stretched and said.

"A car would be very useful. Let's go and see if we can assemble one." Wang Fusheng nodded in agreement.

"What's this sticky stuff like syrup?" In the destroyed car factory in the north of the war ruin, the fat man and Wang Fusheng were carrying a diesel engine out of a room. After searching for a while, they found this engine was usable and moved it out of the debris. However, the sticky liquid on the engine felt disgusting to the touch.

"Is this the saliva of the zombie king?" The fat man wiped the liquid off the engine with a piece of discarded fabric and said casually.

"Wait, you said the zombie king started chasing you from where?" Wang Fusheng, who was carrying the engine, paused and asked.

"Right here. I found this was a car factory ruin and came to see if there were any working cars. I planned to drive one out, but that big guy jumped out and chased me for several streets, tiring me out." The fat man answered instinctively.

After the fat man's answer, the two men carrying the engine paused and looked at each other. They then looked towards the door, which was empty, and both sighed in relief, thinking they had scared themselves. The zombie king was probably still on that twenty-story building and wouldn't come here.

"Let's hurry and get this out. I don't know what the idiot designer was thinking, putting this engine in such a small room. If the zombie king stands at the door, he could block us in. But looking at the size of the door, this might be where the zombie king sleeps."

The fat man glanced at the door, which was disproportionately large for the small room, and muttered. The two men then carried the engine out of the room and into the corridor. Wang Fusheng had already gathered some parts to assemble a car in the yard, and now they just needed the engine.

"What's wrong?" As they came out of the room, Wang Fusheng tensed and stopped. The fat man, puzzled, asked. But seeing Wang Fusheng staring at his back, the fat man's body also stiffened, and he slowly turned to look behind him.

"Ahh..." The fat man let out a pig-like scream, but before he could continue, the zombie king, with its twisted but now functional arm, grabbed the fat man's neck and casually threw him, sending the 200-kilogram fat man flying.

Bang! Bang! The fat man crashed into the wall, his forehead making a close and intimate contact with it, and he passed out. The second bang was the sound of the engine hitting the ground as it was thrown.
