Chapter 17

"Ah, I see!" Yu Shengnu and Yang BaiChuan exchanged glances and said in unison.

"Mr. Tang, I wonder if you would be interested in joining our Youdou. Of course, as long as you are willing to join, we will definitely offer you a contract that will satisfy you, and we will certainly not treat you like Starlight Show did. To be honest, I value you as a person, not just a video. Otherwise, we wouldn't have come here in person today!" Yang BaiChuan said seriously, looking at Tang Feng.

"This... join Youdou? Director Yang, could you be more specific?" Tang Feng asked, somewhat surprised.

"It's like this, Mr. Tang. After watching your show, I feel that it would be a waste for you to continue doing live streaming shows. The same format of the show can be done independently. As long as you are willing to join Youdou, I can personally open a talk show for you, and we will provide comprehensive packaging and promotion..." Before Yang BaiChuan could finish, Yu Shengnu's expression changed, and she interrupted him.

"Yang BaiChuan, what do you mean? Why do you think it's a waste for Mr. Tang to continue doing live streaming shows? Are you looking down on live streaming shows?"

"Ah? Director Yu, that was a slip of the tongue. I didn't mean it that way. I was just too excited about your talent, and I misspoke. Please forgive me, Director Yu!" Seeing Yu Shengnu's displeased expression, Yang BaiChuan realized he had been too hasty and had forgotten the purpose of their visit. In fact, when they came, Yang BaiChuan didn't really have the intention of inviting Tang Feng to host a show; it was Yu Shengnu who was truly interested in Tang Feng himself.

"You two?" Tang Feng looked at the two people in front of him, puzzled. What's going on? Did they not discuss this beforehand?

"Here's the thing, Mr. Tang. The main reason for our visit is that Youdou is preparing to enter the live streaming show business, and the company has decided to have me take charge of this business. The preliminary work for Youdou Show has been completed, and we are just waiting to launch this service. Although Youdou Show is just about to launch, our audience resources are not inferior to Starlight. Youdou has over 200 million registered users and over 50 million paying users, so in terms of audience resources, Youdou is definitely not lacking. What we lack is a popular streamer like Mr. Tang."

"I sincerely invite Mr. Tang to join Youdou Show. Because Youdou Show currently has a small number of streamers, if Mr. Tang is willing to join, Youdou will allocate a large amount of resources to Mr. Tang, and all the live streaming video copyrights will belong to Mr. Tang himself."

"Moreover, we will pay Mr. Tang a one-time signing fee of 100,000 yuan, and we will not take any cut from all the gifts and tips. They will all belong to Mr. Tang. Additionally, if Mr. Tang's live streaming videos collaborate with Youdou Video, they will receive comprehensive promotion!" Yu Shengnu finished, looking straight at Tang Feng.

Even Yang BaiChuan was somewhat surprised by the conditions Yu Shengnu offered.

After all, since Starlight Show successfully went public, many internet giants have entered the live streaming show business, hoping to replicate Starlight Show's success. Although the live streaming show market looks very lucrative, many companies that entered the market rashly have failed, making many companies hesitant to enter. This has led to Starlight Show's dominance in the market.

To a large extent, this is why Yan Jianghua dared to threaten Tang Feng.

The 100,000 yuan signing fee offered by Yu Shengnu is not insignificant for a non-contracted streamer like Tang Feng. After all, Tang Feng has only had one successful live stream, and his previous streams were not particularly outstanding. The most important part of Yu Shengnu's offer is that all tips and gifts will not be taken by Youdou Show, which is a significant benefit.

"What do you think, Mr. Tang? If there's anything you're not satisfied with or any conditions you have, please let us know!" Yu Shengnu said, growing a bit anxious when Tang Feng didn't respond immediately.

"Cough, Mr. Tang, you might consider my suggestion. Of course, this doesn't prevent you from continuing to be a live streamer." Yang BaiChuan suddenly coughed and said.

"Yang BaiChuan! You..." Yu Shengnu glared at Yang BaiChuan angrily. They were from the same company, and her position was higher than Yang BaiChuan's. However, she had to admit that joining the video department and hosting a separate show was indeed more tempting than just being a live streamer. She was just annoyed that Yang BaiChuan was trying to poach Tang Feng right in front of her.

"Director Yu, I'm also thinking about the company. Our video production department needs someone like Mr. Tang, so... please understand, Director Yu!" Yang BaiChuan laughed and said.

"You..." Yu Shengnu was both angry and helpless. Indeed, she had to admit that Tang Feng's talk show was very impressive, and even if it were a separate show, it would not be bad. However, as the person in charge of Youdou Show, she needed a popular streamer like Tang Feng to make a big splash. Although Tang Feng had only live streamed once and achieved remarkable results, the quality of the live stream video was enough to prove his potential.

"Mr. Tang!" Honestly, Tang Feng didn't expect Youdou to value him so much, and he felt a bit proud.

Hearing Tang Feng speak, Yang BaiChuan and Yu Shengnu both fell silent and looked at him.

"First, thank you both for your interest. Second, I appreciate Director Yang's offer, but I have never hosted a show independently, so I would rather not host a separate show!" Tang Feng said.

Yang BaiChuan was clearly disappointed but did not show it and did not continue to persuade, as he also had to give Yu Shengnu some face.

Yu Shengnu, however, was delighted. She was really worried that Tang Feng would be poached by Yang BaiChuan, which would force her to come up with a new plan!

"So, Mr. Tang, are you agreeing to join Youdou Show?" Yu Shengnu asked, her face beaming.

"Before I answer that, I have a few conditions and some personal thoughts I'd like to share!" Tang Feng said calmly.

"Please, Mr. Tang, go ahead!" Yu Shengnu said.

"First, I can join Youdou Show, but I don't want to sign a long-term contract. A one-year contract would be fine. During the contract period, I can't do live streaming for other platforms, but what I do is up to me. Second, I hope my live streaming shows will not be restricted, and I will make all the decisions. Third, I will define the specific live streaming times, but I can guarantee at least one live stream per week, with no fewer than six live streams per month, and a total duration of no less than 20 hours!" Tang Feng said after some thought.

Yu Shengnu pondered for a moment. The first condition, a one-year contract, was a bit short but not unacceptable. As for Tang Feng's work, there was no problem with that.

As for the second condition, unrestricted live streaming shows, Yu Shengnu was a bit hesitant. After all, what she valued was Tang Feng's previous live stream. If Tang Feng returned to his old ways after joining, that would be unacceptable. The third condition was not a problem, as if Tang Feng's live streams were excellent, he wouldn't need to stream as frequently as other streamers. If his live streams were not good, then more frequent streaming would be useless.
