Everyone was confused. A group of people rushed out from the second floor.

“Mr. Gu, excuse me for meeting you so late.” A man in a suit came up, smiling apologetically at Gu Yeze.

Gu Yeze didn’t give him a glance but stared at the young man stonily.

“Mr. Gu, you… What happened? To make you so annoyed?” asked the owner of the bar. He was bedding a beauty when a security guard told him Cu Yeze came.

The bar owner had no idea what had happened. The security guard whispered something into his ear, and he went pale with shock at the news.

Someone tried to molest Mrs. Gu at his bar…

“Mr. Gu, I’m so sorry. I don’t know your wife is here.” The bar owner broke into a sweat.

The young man was beaten black and blue. Well trained, Gu Yeze’s men gave him a good hiding without hitting his vital organs.

Gu Yeyu pulled at the sleeve of Bai Weijin, “Weijin, why my brother is here?”

Before she made a reply, Bai Weijin was dragged out by Gu Yeze.

“Gu Yeze, let go!” Bai Weijin growled. Amid the noise, her voice could scarcely be heard.

She stopped struggling and went out with Gu Yeze.

Once they went out of the bar, Gu Yeze got Bai Weijin pinned against the wall, “You shouldn’t have been to such a place. Don’t forget your identity.”

Bai Weijin, who had been grateful for his help, was immediately provoked by his words.

“I never interfere in your affair. You shouldn’t, either.” She sneered.

Gu Yeze flew into a rage.

“Bai Weijin, you’d better behave yourself.”

“What nonsense! You can do whatever you want, while I’m prohibited from doing anything?” Bai Weijin shot Gu Yeze a defiant look .

He pinched her on the cheeks. Bai Weijin felt a sharp pain, yet she stubbornly made no sound.

“Brother! What are you doing?” Gu Yeyu ran over, to find that Gu Yeze seemed to have tweaked something.

She thought he nipped the neck of Bai Weijin and was scared to death.

“None of your business. Get lost!” Gu Yeze yelled to Gu Yeyu.

Bai Weijin seized the opportunity to break away from him.

Gu Yeyu ran up to explain the whole thing to Gu Yeze, but the wine made her feel dizzy. Her mind went blank.

Faced with Gu Yeze’s cold stare, she stammered and finally shut up in fear.

He passed the pub on the way back and heard the noise, so he decided to go for a check.

Seeing Gu Yeyu hide behind Bai Weijin, Chu Jiran finally breathed a sigh of relief. He came up, giving her a knock on the forehead, “You naughty girl, it takes a lot of effort to find you.”

It seemed that even Gu Yeze was informed of that.

“Find her?” Gu Yeze didn’t miss the point, asking.

Chu Jiran gave Gu Yeyu a glare, replying, “Yeah, she had… had a squabble with me. I couldn’t contact her, so I asked Weijin for help. It turns out that she was here.”

Bai Weijin gave a sneer, “Is it disappointing you, Mr. Gu?”

Gu Yeze was vexed again. He found his mood could be easily affected by the woman.

Seeing her brother’s angry look, Gu Yeze suddenly forgot she was angry with Chu Jiran.

She moved closer to him and was given a second knock on the forehead. Gu Yeyu made a wry face.

“Come home with me,” Gu Yeze pulled Bai Weijin’s hand. Before she had a chance to say no, Bai Weijin found she was sitting in the car.
