The driver had been waiting there for a long time.

Expressionless, Bai Weijin sat next to Gu Yeze and closed her eyes in repose.

“Why didn’t you tell me the truth earlier?” asked Gu Yeze in a somewhat stiff tone.

“Even if I did, you wouldn’t listen to me, would you, President Gu?” Bai Weijin snorted.

Every time they had a quarrel, she would call him this way.

Gu Yeze frowned but said nothing more. Even the driver sensed the intense atmosphere in the car, stepping on the accelerator.

In the hope of driving them home as soon as possible.

When they arrived home, Bai Weijin got out of the car, opened the door, changed her shoes and directly went upstairs.

Gu Yeze followed her up.

“Where are you going? Your room is over there.”

“You may forget it, President Gu. That’s your room.”

“Done? If you’re done, I’ll go to sleep.” Bai Weijin also showed a sullen look.

He hoped to hear that she got jealous, while Bai Weijin paused.

She was gonna question him.

Whether he brought those women to make her jealous? Yet she found she was wrong. How come Gu Yeze wasted his time on it?

“Business. It’s settled already.” Bai Weijin answered in a stiff manner.

“Just business?” asked Gu Yeze.

He looked quite disappointed.

Bai Weijin suddenly lost her composure and burst out yelling, “Then what else can I ask? Ask why you are bringing different women every day? Your love can be given to anyone, just like the leaflets handed out in the street.”

She scolded him nonstop for ages.

It was the first time that someone criticized Gu Yeze this way, while a faint smile flickered across his face.

“Bai Weijin, are you angry?” Gu Yeze’s face grew radiant.

“Not at all.” Bai Weijin turned away and opened the door, but was dragged into Gu Yeze’s arms.

He put his head on her shoulder, sniffing the fragrance of her hair.

It was a refreshing smell of soap that lingered around her all the time.

“You’re angry because you get jealous,” said Gu Yeze in a deep voice.

He saw through her lie. Bai Weijin lost her temper from embarrassment, asking, “How could I get jealous? Are you drunk, too, Gu Yeze?”

“You call me what?”

“Gu Yeze.”

“Again.”

Having received no reply, Gu Yeze raised his head from her shoulder.

Before Bai Weijin realized it, Gu Yeze pinned her against the wall and planted a big kiss on her lips.

It had been several days since they had intimacy. Gu Yeze was being passionate, and Bai Weijin stopped struggling very soon.

They entered the room.

Bai Weijin realized what was going on the moment her head hit the pillow. She pushed Gu Yeze away. Totally unready, Gu Yeze rolled down from the bed and stared at her with displeasure.

Bai Weijin didn’t forget what he had done these days.

“How come you think of me today? Where are your girlfriends?

Her remarks were dripping with sarcasm, which, though, pleased Gu Yeze a lot.

“Nothing happened between me and them.”

Bai Weijin gave a snort, “I’m not a fool. How can you explain the love bites on Sun Xue’s neck, as well as those women who stayed in your office for a whole afternoon?”

Gu Yeze’s face darkened.

Those women either sat on the couch for an afternoon, or were kicked out after their failed attempt to seduce him.
