“Song Yanyan’s SunHan ABO Fanfiction”
Sun Yao didn’t respond to Han Bohan’s plea. He only pressed his nose to the scent glands at Han Bohan’s nape and took a deep breath. Their pheromones were both a poison and its antidote to each other. On one hand, they craved it. On the other hand, they weren’t able to stop resisting.
Han Bohan’s hair was completely drenched in pheromone-scented sweat. If he couldn’t obtain relief from an Alpha, his heat would persist for two or three days—an agonizing pain.
Sun Yao realised that he was about to lose his mind from the assault of Han Bohan’s pheromones. But he was an Alpha, and it was because Alphas possessed much stronger self-control that they were able to be in the dominant role in a relationship. As a result, he maintained his last thread of clarity and moved his lips away from where they almost touched Han Bohan’s nape, saying, “No, endure it.”
Tears had seeped through the blindfold covering Han Bohan’s eyes, darkening the black fabric. He inched his head forward, seeking out Sun Yao’s lips.
An Omega’s heat was a terrifying thing. He’d learnt in physical education classes at school since he was a kid that an Omega’s body would go through many heats after presenting. For the most part, however, he was in a stable and independent setting, and he relied on safe medication to alleviate the pain. This was the first time he went into heat near an unfamiliar Alpha; the other man’s never-ending stream of pheromones flooded his nasal cavity—even the pores on his body—and sunk in deep, binding his neuroreceptors, which then transmitted the information to his brain that sent out a command that caused his body to go into heat.
If even his brain was already at the mercy of Alpha pheromones, how could he keep resisting? All that remained was an endless thirst.
Sun Yao didn’t want to bring his body relief, much less mark him. His best course of action was to actually get as far away from Han Bohan as possible.
Every now and then, there was an instant where Han Bohan would regain his lucidity and try to tell Sun Yao to leave, but before he could utter the words, they were drowned out by an even stronger desire in his body that made him grab Sun Yao’s hand and refuse to let go.
And, in truth, it wasn’t possible for Sun Yao to leave this place either.
He untied the blindfold that had been covering Han Bohan’s eyes. The second he pushed it away, he was met with the sight of Han Bohan’s beautiful, flushed and teary eyes. His eyes were slack and unsteady, unable to focus at all.
Han Bohan couldn’t clearly make out his surroundings. Everything had gone fuzzy, but he could see Sun Yao—the only thing his body desired at the moment. He raised his head, demanding a kiss, but his body was weak and his hands were bound, making it difficult to sit up fully.
Sun Yao backed away, avoiding the kiss. In a not-so-steady yet still calm tone, he said, “Don’t be like this, Prosecutor. You’ll only regret it.”
Because of an Alpha’s unique physiological condition, they made up the majority of society’s elite; Han Bohan’s father, for example, was an Alpha. This, however, was not absolute. After Sun Yao’s innocent daughter had fallen victim to the young man who’d attempted to rape her, the young man’s powerful and influential parents deliberately suppressed him. He lost what had been a decent job and became mired in financial difficulties.
Sun Yao knew that if it weren’t for Han Bohan’s heat causing him to lose his mind, an Omega like Han Bohan wouldn’t even look his way. Just like their first encounter at the detention centre: Han Bohan, in a neat and spotless prosecutor uniform, hadn’t looked up until Sun Yao sat down with his hands cuffed. His gaze was cold and indifferent as he studied him, as if he was looking at a criminal and a person at the lowest rung of society.
Sun Yao had no ill will toward Han Bohan. He had no intention of killing him either. He’d reached this age after experiencing the countless warm and cold vicissitudes of the world; his views were neither extreme, nor did he think highly of himself, and he wasn’t an overly emotional person. He simply watched this man coolly, observed the man, reassessed him.
If he were to console Han Bohan with his body or temporarily mark him, Han Bohan would almost certainly sink into a painful self-remorse once his heat was over.
Sun Yao didn’t want to get involved in that kind of relationship with Han Bohan. He still had more pressing matters to attend to, and he needed Han Bohan’s assistance.
So after he evaded Han Bohan’s kiss, Sun Yao rose and walked away from the bed.
At the sight of Sun Yao leaving, Han Bohan couldn’t stop his tears from falling. He opened his mouth and begged, “Don’t go.” He tried to catch the hem of Sun Yao’s shirt, but he didn’t have enough energy.
Sun Yao didn’t spare him a glance, leaving him alone in the room.
Han Bohan was crying and gasping, twisting his legs to ease the painful sensation in his body—but nothing worked. He both feared and desired the Alpha’s pheromones; he wanted to be marked. His body was wholly prepared for it, but nothing happened. The Alpha refused to touch him.
Sun Yao reappeared some time later, bringing cold water. He sat down on the edge of the bed and propped Han Bohan up.
All Han Bohan’s strength had escaped his body. His wrists were worn red where they had been bound, and the skin was broken in some places.
Sun Yao thus untied the rope around his wrist, then watched as Han Bohan’s hands hung down without an ounce of strength left to resist. If not for his occasional restless stirring and heavy gasps, Sun Yao would have thought that he’d passed out.
Han Bohan’s eyes were closed, at first. Only once he felt an ice-cold towel stuck pressed to his forehead did he slowly open his eyes.
Sun Yao was wiping his body with the wet towel. First his forehead, then his cheeks and neck.
The first wave of Han Bohan’s heat had passed. While desire lingered in his body, his mind was gradually clearing. He leaned on Sun Yao’s shoulder, but when he tried to look up, he could only see Sun Yao’s jaw. Han Bohan’s anxious, restless body had been momentarily soothed by the cool, wet towel, which had made him feel at ease. “Sun Yao,” he called out weakly.
Sun Yao didn’t pause. He unbuttoned Han Bohan’s sweat-soaked shirt and stripped him, then wiped the wet towel over his smooth chest, stomach, and back.
Han Bohan was slightly out of breath. “Go turn yourself in,” he said, forcing himself to disregard the state of his body.
Sun Yao answered him calmly, “I didn’t kill Cao Yuxiang.”
Han Bohan shook his head. “Your defense isn’t credible.”
“You can choose to believe whatever you want,” Sun Yao said indifferently.
“Don’t be stupid,” Han Bohan buried his face in Sun Yao’s shoulder, greedily inhaling the pheromones on his body. “How long can you hide like this?” he asked, oblivious to the fact that his tone was softening. “You can’t run away.”
Sun Yao noticed his actions and glanced down at him, but he didn’t say anything, instead reaching over to unbutton and unzip Han Bohan’s jeans.
Han Bohan moved to stop Sun Yao, but he lacked the strength to do so, and his outstretched hand barely came close to touching Sun Yao’s arm. Sun Yao, on the other hand, had already pulled his jeans off.
His underwear appeared to be drenched with slick—it was undeniably slick, and not at all sweat.
Han Bohan had never been in such a humiliating situation before. His originally flushed cheeks gradually paled, and his eyes were wooden as he watched Sun Yao take his underwear off then wiped his body clean with a wet towel.
It wasn’t that he didn’t resist; inwardly, he was well aware that his second wave of heat was on its way, and that once it arrived, he’d be in an even more pathetic state than he was now. He’d cry and wail, wrap himself around Sun Yao, and beg him to fuck him—this was an Omega’s instinct.
Sun Yao did everything expressionlessly. At the end, he threw the towel into the wash basin full of water and covered Han Bohan with a blanket.
After leaving to pour the water out, he returned to the bedroom to the sight of Han Bohan beginning to sink within the throes of another delirious heat. Moreover, it was more intense than his previous heat.
He stood in the doorway and watched him for a moment, then turned away and walked out
This house was an old building in the countryside. There was only one bedroom and a storage room next to it. The water tap was located outside, in the yard. The storage room had a strong musty odor, so Sun Yao avoided entering it and went outside instead. He sat, leaning against the wooden door, lighting a cigarette and gazing out into the pitch-black night sky.
It’s not only Omegas who had instincts—Alpha instincts tormented him too. They urged him to ruthlessly violate Han Bohan, violently bite down on the scent glands on his nape, sharp teeth penetrating skin, and to empty his pheromones into Han Bohan’s body, marking him as his prey.
But he couldn’t do it. He still had more important things to do.
Sun Yao smoked with a vacant mind. He thought that, if Han Bohan were a Beta, things would be so much simpler. But he was an Omega, and during his heat, the two of them were trapped here, unable to go anywhere else.
The fact that he’d taken Han Bohan away from the densely populated city was his only stroke of luck. Otherwise, the scent of an Omega in heat would likely attract other Alphas, making it difficult for them to even hide. In the countryside, where buildings were sparse, he was given the opportunity to catch his breath.
Sun Yao, who was sitting outside, could hear the sounds Han Bohan made inside the house.
He closed his eyes and propped his head against the door. His wife had been a Beta, and because of her weak disposition, her pregnancy hadn’t been easy, and she passed away not long after giving birth to their daughter. After that, he lived alone with his daughter.
In reality, Sun Yao had barely ever seen an Omega in heat. After all, the allure of an Omega in heat was fatal to Alphas. In order to protect themselves, Omegas wouldn’t put themselves in any dangerous situations that could possibly cause them to go into heat. Witnessing an Omega in such a state was a first for Sun Yao.
Biting his cigarette, Sun Yao seemed to hear Han Bohan yelling his name. He thus opened his eyes, but he didn’t move and only sat there calmly. He knew what Han Bohan wanted, but even if he called his name, what Han Bohan wanted wasn’t him at all, but just a random Alpha who could help him get through this difficult situation.
The days had been hot as of late. Even though the temperature dropped slightly at night, it was still not quite cold.
Sun Yao could smell Han Bohan’s pheromones. Even through the wooden door, it assaulted his senses. It was a pleasant, enticing smell, but it also made him uneasy, and his cigarette could no longer quell his body’s agitation. He stood up, walked up to the wash basin in the yard, and turned on the water. A stream of cool water poured out and splashed his foot.
He carelessly discarded his cigarette butt, then stuck his head under the stream of water.
A stream of cool water cascaded down his head. He couldn’t open his eyes, and even breathing was difficult. For a brief moment, he could no longer detect Han Bohan’s pure, sweet scent.
After a while, Sun Yao could no longer hear any movement coming from the room. He raised a hand and wiped the water from his face and hair, then headed towards the bedroom.
Han Bohan had finally fallen into a temporary calm after two waves of heat. He was lying on the bed, asleep, his face and body drenched in sweat.
Sun Yao pulled up the covers a little more, then sat down on the floor, leaning against the bed.
There was only one bed in the room. With no intention of lying down, he only sat by the bed and stared at Han Bohan for a while before resting his head on the bedside and falling asleep, too.
