“Song Yanyan’s SunHan ABO Fanfiction”

Han Bohan’s dreams tormented him so much that he woke up in pain before dawn, with no memory of what he’d dreamt about.

The agony that resulted from being unable to find relief resurfaced. In the beginning, he could still bear it, and with his remaining lucidity, he noticed Sun Yao resting against the edge of the bed, seemingly asleep. After that, the pain intensified—before he realized what he was doing, he was sitting up, blanket slipping down to his feet, and naked, he bent down and leaned in to kiss Sun Yao.

Sun Yao wasn’t sure if it was Han Bohan’s kiss or the stimulation from his pheromones that roused him; the moment he opened his eyes, he felt something inside his body begin to stir, and he subconsciously kissed Han Bohan’s lips.

Han Bohan fit his body along Sun Yao’s.

Sun Yao quickly regained his senses and moved back in reflex. As a result, Han Bohan tumbled out of the bed with him. Sun Yao had no choice but to hold his waist, and extend his long legs to sit on the floor and keep his balance so as not to topple over.

Han Bohan’s skin was smooth and supple. The sweat had already dried out, but a residual clammy sensation lingered. He straddled Sun Yao’s legs, arms tightly wound around Sun Yao’s neck and shoulders as he moved in for another kiss.

Sun Yao’s resistance was on the verge of collapsing, his desire to push Han Bohan away dwindling. His palm, flush against Han Bohan’s buttocks, slowly slid upwards, caressing the hollow between his spine and shoulder blades, all the way to the scent glands on his nape.

An Omega’s glands were extremely sensitive. They would never allow anyone to touch their glands so casually, but the current Han Bohan was unusually docile and obedient. He let Sun Yao gently massage his glands, and when he lightly squeezed it, Han Bohan’s body instantly went limp and powerless. Sun Yao then drew him away from his body by the back of his neck.

At the sight of Han Bohan’s still moist eyes and lips, Sun Yao tried to contain his desires, and asked, “Do you want me to mark you?”

Han Bohan gaped, but no sound came out.

Sun Yao thus leaned in a little closer and asked, “Do you?”

This time, Han Bohan gave him an answer: “I want it.”

Sun Yao sneered. “I’ll come back later and ask you again,” he said. After that, he picked Han Bohan up and settled him back down on the bed before re-tying his wrists and ankles with rope.

Han Bohan seemed to have regained some of his strength after getting some sleep—Sun Yao couldn’t let him mess around.

Sun Yao then exited the room, leaving Han Bohan to deal with his third wave of heat on his own.

When Sun Yao returned, Han Bohan had already calmed down. He lay in bed with his eyes opened, staring at the ceiling with glassy eyes, still in the position Sun Yao had bound him in earlier.

Sun Yao walked over to the bed and sat down, but Han Bohan ignored him. Sun Yao thus simply asked, “Should I untie the rope for you?”

With a hoarse voice, Han Bohan serenely said, “No. Just leave it be.”

Dawn had broken.

Han Bohan had gone through his third wave of heat, but it was far from over. It would take one to two days for it to completely pass. Only the intervals between each wave would become longer, and he’d be able to keep his lucidity for longer periods of time.

Sun Yao took out some soft tissues and stuffed them between his wrist and the rope.

Han Bohan looked down at Sun Yao’s moving hands and asked, “Can you help me buy some suppressants?”

“The nearest county pharmacy is nearly a forty minute drive away,” Sun Yao replied after some time. “A round trip would take more than an hour. I can’t leave you here alone.” Of course, he couldn’t exactly bring Han Bohan with him either. At present, Sun Yao was still a fugitive, and bringing an Omega who was in the midst of his heat would draw too much attention.

Han Bohan was well aware of Sun Yao’s concerns.

“Not to mention,” Sun Yao continued, “are you sure that using suppressants in the middle of your heat won’t harm your body?”

Han Bohan was unsure. No doctor would recommend using a suppressant to stop a person’s heat right in the middle of it—the effects on the body would be too severe. The best way to deal with a heat was by marking.

Sun Yao shifted closer to Han Bohan and lifted a hand to brush his sweat-soaked hair aside. “Would you like me to mark you, Prosecutor?”

“You wouldn’t dare!” Han Bohan’s gaze froze over.

Sun Yao laughed upon seeing his flushed cheeks. “Is there anything that I wouldn’t dare to do at this point? I’ll give you two options, either you help me take Yanyan away, or I’ll mark you, right here, right now.”

“Are you aware that forced-marking is a multiple felony?” Han Bohan said coldly.

“More serious than murder?” Sun Yao asked.

“What’s the difference between that and murder?” Han Bohan asked in lieu of a reply.

Once an Omega was marked by an Alpha, they would succumb to the Alpha in both the psychological and physical senses, never being able to leave the Alpha that marked them for the rest of their life. Naturally, they would also reject other Alphas.

Married Omegas who had lost their Alphas were the world’s most unfortunate people. Despite the fact that a mark-removal surgery had been developed as a result of continuous advances in modern science, the effects of the surgery varied from person to person. Han Bohan once met an Omega who, after being abandoned by his Alpha, decided to undergo mark removal surgery. The consequences of that Omega’s surgery were severe, and he said that he would never accept anyone else for the rest of his life, whether Alpha, or even Beta. He was unable to accept a new partner not only physically, but also psychologically.

In order to protect Omegas, the government added the crime of forced marking to the criminal code fifty years ago. If an Alpha went against the wishes of an Omega and forcibly marked them, they would be imprisoned. The sentence varied according to the degree, with the death penalty being the harshest. It was regarded as a more serious offence than rape.

Furthermore, due to the special conditions of an Omega’s physiology, if an Omega agreed to be marked while in heat but later retracted their decision and pressed charges against the Alpha after their heat, it would also be regarded as a crime of forced marking, but the specific sentence would be determined based on the circumstances of the situation.

Han Bohan had dealt with similar cases in the past, and he’d seen many Omegas in miserable situations. He didn’t expect that one day, he himself would face this threat.

Sun Yao didn’t react much after hearing Han Bohan’s rhetorical question. He simply maintained a steady gaze on Han Bohan, and said, “It doesn’t matter. When I get caught and go to jail, you’ll suffer alongside me and Yanyan for the rest of your life regardless.”

The corners of Han Bohan’s eyes faintly reddened; he looked at Sun Yao for a long time before asking, “Sun Yao, is this the kind of person you truly are?”

Sun Yao remained silent. He sat on the edge of the bed for what seemed like an eternity before reaching out to grab Han Bohan’s bound hands. “I’m sorry,” he apologised. “I’m at my wits’ end. I didn’t mean what I said, I don’t want to hurt you.”

Han Bohan felt Sun Yao’s callused fingertips rubbing the back of his hand and couldn’t suppress a faint shudder.

In the early morning, Sun Yao made steamed eggs for Han Bohan, tore open a packet of biscuits, and brought him a carton of milk. He didn’t untie Han Bohan’s restraints, still worried that Han Bohan would find a way to escape. He brought in the breakfast and set it on a chair next to the bed, sat on the bed, then held Han Bohan so that he was propped up against his body before feeding him the steamed eggs with a spoon.

“It’s unseasoned.” Sun Yao held the spoon to Han Bohan’s lips. “Just put up with it, okay?”

Han Bohan stared at the spoon for a moment before opening his mouth.

Sun Yao was very good at looking after people. He’d patiently wipe the corners of Han Bohan’s mouth with his finger after each mouthful. He also broke the biscuits into small pieces and fed them to Han Bohan’s mouth and, seemingly concerned that the biscuit would be too dry, he fed him milk after each bite.

Sun Yao’s pheromones were all Han Bohan could smell. He didn’t say anything, but he liked the smell. He was struck by a sense of emptiness after Sun Yao left his side after feeding him breakfast and couldn’t help but turn his head towards Sun Yao.

After Sun Yao went out to discard the bowl and milk carton, he didn’t come back in.

Han Bohan lay in bed and waited for a long time. Still weak, he struggled to sit up. Next to the bed, there was a window that directly faced the yard, and he saw Sun Yao sitting on a small stool in the yard, eating the biscuits he hadn’t finished yet. A dog appeared out of nowhere. It approached Sun Yao, tail wagging. The man then crumbled the biscuit for the dog to eat and petted the puppy’s head gently.

Later on, Sun Yao returned to the bedroom and sat down.

Han Bohan asked him a few questions. He answered some, and refused to answer the rest. For instance, he wouldn’t tell Han Bohan where they were, and he wouldn’t say what he was planning to do next—but he told Han Bohan about Cao Yuxiang throwing his daughter down the stairs.

“You’re saying that it wasn’t you who killed Cao Yuxiang?” Han Bohan asked him.

Sun Yao didn’t sit on the edge of the bed; instead, he took a seat against the wall opposite the bed, bracing his head against it as he smoked. “As I’ve told you many times before, he accidentally killed himself while we were fighting.”

“Your confession isn’t credible,” Han Bohan stated.

Sun Yao sneered and exhaled the smoke slowly through his mouth.

Han Bohan didn’t like it when he smoked. It masked the smell of his pheromones—which he liked.

After a while, Sun Yao said, “That’s fine. It’s not the first time you people didn’t believe me. There was also the time Xiao Yan fell.”

A bout of sadness washed over Han Bohan at his words.

They both fell silent.

A beat later, Han Bohan softly called out, “Sun Yao?”

Sun Yao raised his head. “Hm?”

Han Bohan turned to face him. “Can you untie me? I need to go to the toilet.”

Hearing this, Sun Yao stood up and slowly walked over to the bed, looking down at him. “A number one or a number two?”

Han Bohan turned away and took a deep breath before saying, “Number one.”

Sun Yao turned around and exited the building. He then brought in a dirty basin and placed it next to the bed. “Just make do with this for now.”

Han Bohan didn’t even look him in the eyes as he coldly said, “No.”

“All old houses in the countryside are like this,” Sun Yao explained. “The outdoor toilet is filthy as well. You won’t be comfortable using it.”

Humiliated, Han Bohan said, “I’d rather piss in the wild.” He could do it in the bushes or behind a tree. There was no way he would urinate in a basin in front of Sun Yao.

Sun Yao took off his shoes and stepped onto the bed, picked Han Bohan up and, because he didn’t want to untie his restraints, helped Han Bohan up into a kneeling position on the edge of the bed, while he himself spread his legs and knelt on either side of Han Bohan’s legs, holding him from behind.

Han Bohan began to struggle, bearing his customary arrogance. “Let go of me!”

Sun Yao tightened his hold around his body to keep him from moving, then, somewhat losing control of the other man, he opened his mouth and gently bit down on Han Bohan’s nape; his teeth lingered on his scent glands, separated by a layer of skin.

Han Bohan’s body went soft at once, like a kitten being picked up by the back of its neck.

Alphas have always controlled Omegas in the same way that animals controlled each other.

Seeing Han Bohan stop struggling, he moved his mouth away and spoke in his ear, “What does it matter? It’s nothing I haven’t seen before.”

Han Bohan had reached his limit; he could no longer control his body. Sun Yao was a solid mass behind him, holding him up. Then, the sound of fluid splashing against the shabby porcelain basin resounded, the sound particularly sharp and clear.

Perhaps he’d been holding it in for too long. Han Bohan took a long time to finish.

Sun Yao didn’t realise that Han Bohan was crying until after he let go of him.

Han Bohan was still kneeling on the edge of the bed with his head hung down, as if he were a prisoner awaiting execution. Hot tears dripped down onto his fair thighs.

Sun Yao went outside to empty the basin, and when he returned, Han Bohan hadn’t moved. He approached the bed and reached out to stroke Han Bohan’s head; after a few moments, he embraced Han Bohan and lay down on the bed.

Han Bohan didn’t fight back, instead burying his face in Sun Yao’s arms. Whenever Sun Yao caressed the glands on his nape with his rough palm, his strained mood would gradually relax.

Sun Yao hugged Han Bohan for a long time, until Han Bohan’s breathing became more stabilised. This time, before Han Bohan completely lost his mind, Sun Yao asked him again: “Would you like me to give you a temporary mark?”

Han Bohan looked up. His soft lips brushed against Sun Yao’s jaw as he quietly said, “Temporary… mark?”
