The room seemed as if it was overheated. Xia Xingcheng felt like his entire body was soaked with sweat, his body deeply embedded in the middle of the soft bed.

Yang Youming planted his hands on either side of his body, his forehead pressed hard against Xia Xingcheng’s shoulder. Small kisses fell over Xia Xingcheng’s collarbone, leaving nothing untouched.

Xia Xingcheng raised his hands to embrace him. He could feel the muscles of the man’s shoulder and back straining from the exertion, and at this very moment, he looked strong and powerful.

There was no doubt that this was Yang Youming’s first time with a man, yet he was still adept and skillful. Unlike Xia Xingcheng’s past experiences, he could feel that his momentum was completely at the mercy of the other man’s hands—he was powerless from head to toe.

The large hotel bed shook even more violently. Yang Youming’s body tensed, his lips slowly wandering over to the pliable skin on the side of Xia Xingcheng’s neck as he tried to suppress his breaths, but he finally couldn’t help a low groan. His arms lost their strength then, and his entire body was completely pressed against Xia Xingcheng.

Xia Xingcheng’s psychological shock was even stronger than his physical one, and he held Yang Youming tightly, wishing that the man would never leave him.

There was one thing that Yang Youming hadn’t actually gotten wrong but Xia Xingcheng would never admit to him, and that was that Fang Jiangyuan and Yu Haiyang’s unsatisfactory ending made him even more attached to Yang Youming. He was clear on the fact that he wasn’t Fang Jianyuan, but he had suffered through severe emotional wounds in that illusory love. He also knew very well that Yang Youming wasn’t Yu Haiyang, and because he wasn’t, he wanted to hold on to Yang Youming even more so to find solace from his emotional scars.

So was he the only one who got hurt in that illusory love affair? Xia Xingcheng turned his head to look into Yang Youming’s eyes.

Yang Youming was lying on his body, his head against the pillow by Xia Xingcheng’s shoulder. Right then, he tilted his head towards him, those beautiful eyes were deep and bottomless.

It was completely different from when they were acting. When they were shooting intimate scenes, no matter how Yu Haiyang lost himself in the scene, Yang Youming could immediately withdraw the moment it ended. But at this time, Yang Youming’s unwillingness to part with him was exhibited across his entire face, his breaths still scorching hot.

Yang Youming just gazed at him like this. After a while, he gently touched Xia Xingcheng’s dark red lips with his thumb.

Xia Xingcheng opened his mouth to suck his fingers, and the tip of his tongue touched his moist fingertips.

Soon after, they embraced and kissed each other once more.

The tireless intimacy didn’t end until late in the night. Xia Xingcheng curled up in Yang Youming’s arms and fell asleep.

But his sleep wasn’t peaceful at all, and he woke up when he felt the person beside him moving.

Xia Xingcheng’s eyes were closed. Traces of the love affair still remained on his body. He didn’t dare to move, fearing that Yang Youming would tell him to leave if he found out he was awake, because he had agreed with Yang Youming that there would only be this one night.

But Yang Youming merely seemed to sit up, and there was no other movement.

Xia Xingcheng panicked.

Then, he felt Yang Youming’s breath slowly approaching him. The man left a soft kiss on his cheek, then lifted the blanket and got out of bed.

The sound of Yang Youming’s footsteps went straight to the bathroom. Xia Xingcheng opened his eyes to see the bathroom lights on and the door shut. After a while, there was the sound of running water.

The curtains in the room had been drawn. The thick blackout curtains practically blocked out all the outside light. The room remained dark, and Xia Xingcheng couldn’t tell whether it was bright out or not.

He also sat up, raising a hand to his face, not quite sure whether the kiss just now was a figment of his imagination.

After a while, Xia Xingcheng pushed away the covers and got up from the bed, bare feet on the carpet, and saw that the clothes he and Yang Youming had thrown aside last night were still scattered all over the floor. He tiptoed over the clothes and followed Yang Youming to the bathroom.

The bathroom door was unlocked, and the separate shower had a wide jacuzzi tub. At this time, Yang Youming was standing in the tub, his back to the door as he showered.

Perhaps the sound of the shower drowned out the sound of Xia Xingcheng opening the door. Yang Youming never turned around until Xia Xingcheng stepped into the bathtub and hugged him from behind.

Yang Youming’s hand that was gripping the shower head paused, his other hand pressed on the back of the hand Xia Xingcheng had around his waist, then intertwined their fingers.

The bathroom’s lighting was hazy, and steam pervaded the air, yet Xia Xingcheng could still see the marks on the contours of Yang Youming’s firm back that he had caused with his own hands. He stuck out his tongue to lick at those red marks, and asked, “When should I leave?”

When he felt Yang Youming steal a kiss on his face, he decided to ask this question.

Yang Youming lowered his head. The hot water from the shower washed over their interlocked hands, and after a moment, he said, “You can leave whenever you want.”

Xia Xingcheng was so stunned that he thought he had misheard. He raised his head and said, “Then I’m not leaving.”

Yang Youming grabbed his hand and pushed it away. Turning to face him, he raised the showerhead in his hand to let the jets of water gently wash over Xia Xingcheng’s body and then his hair. He used his other hand to wipe the water off Xia Xingcheng’s face and said, “All right.”

They used the hotel’s shower gel and shampoo to wash each other’s bodies. Halfway through, Xia Xingcheng was riled up again. He pushed Yang Youming to sit on the edge of the bathtub, against the wall. Ignoring the way his knees hit the cold hard tiles, he held Yang Youming’s shoulders and sat on him with his legs apart.

His thoughts were actually quite simple. He couldn’t tell how far Yang Youming’s feelings for him went, but the body’s reaction was something that couldn’t be concealed–how about making Yang Youming stay in his bed, so much so that he couldn’t bear to leave?
