Shuxiang Community is located near A County No.1 High School, specifically for students who need to rent a place for their studies. The rooms are spacious and well-lit. Last night, Yang Tian's mother, Shen Xinlan, had already arranged a rental with the help of her sisters. It's Room 201, Building 3, with an annual rent of 20,000 yuan, and they could move in directly today.
There weren't many things at home, so after a few trips, everything was moved to the new place.
Yang Tian casually chose a room and carefully placed the herbs he had bought into the drawer.
His sister, Yang Shan, went to play with the other children in the community, while his parents went to the bank to withdraw money and then to their relatives' homes to pay off debts.
Yang Tian took out a portion of the herbs, carefully crushed them, and began the second application on his skin.
This time, the amount was quite sufficient, enough to cover his entire body.
Although he was mentally prepared, Yang Tian still felt the pain almost bring tears to his eyes. After finally finishing, he didn't immediately lie down to rest but walked out of the room and started jogging outside.
In the initial stage, Yang Tian set his goal to be jogging. Although simple, it was the best way to exercise for him at the moment.
After two applications of the herbs, Yang Tian clearly felt a significant improvement in his body. He could now jog for longer distances, though it was still slow jogging; he couldn't sprint yet.
At noon, Yang Tian's parents hadn't returned, so he took his sister to a nearby small restaurant for a spicy hot pot, which made both of them sweat profusely.
After eating, Yang Tian bought his sister a bottle of Powerade and let her play on her own while he resumed his exercise.
Feeling his body getting better, Yang Tian was now full of energy!
If there was a choice, who would want to be a weak, overweight person?
Around 3 or 4 PM, Yang Tian's parents finally returned from their hometown, with smiles on their faces, after all, being debt-free is a great relief!
"Xiao Tian," Father Yang Jiaguo called out as soon as he saw Yang Tian jogging around the road, waving and smiling.
"Dad, Mom, did you settle everything?" Yang Tian wiped the sweat from his forehead with a towel and asked with a smile.
"Everything's settled!" Yang Jiaguo sighed, "It's all thanks to you, Xiao Tian. If it were just your father, who knows when we could have paid off the debts?"
Yang Tian smiled and shook his head, "Dad, don't say that."
Why did the family owe so much money? Why did they live in such a cramped house before?
It was all because of him! Since he fell ill at the age of ten, most of the family's money has been spent on him. Even now, his parents take him to large hospitals for regular check-ups, hoping to cure his obesity, which costs a lot of money.
"Actually, the biggest wish your mother and I had was for you to get better, for the family to be debt-free, and to have a bigger house," Yang Jiaguo said with a sigh, "I never thought there would be hope now."
"By the way, Xiao Tian, I heard about an old Chinese medicine practitioner in my hometown who is very skilled in treating obesity. Do you want to go see him sometime?" Yang Jiaguo asked.
"Dad, I'm still using the old practitioner's prescription. Let's see how it works for a while. If it doesn't work, I'll go see him," Yang Tian said with a smile, understanding his father's good intentions.
"Alright!" Yang Jiaguo nodded, "Now that we have a house, the main goal is to cure your obesity. If that happens, your mother and I can die in peace!"
"Old Yang, what are you saying! Don't talk about dying. I still want to wait for my son to graduate from university, find a good wife, and give me a grandson!" Shen Xinlan, who had been listening, looked at her husband disapprovingly.
"Sure, sure! A grandson!" Yang Jiaguo chuckled in agreement.
Yang Tian couldn't help but wipe a cold sweat and quickly said, "Mom, Dad, you go ahead and do your things. I'll go for a run!" and hurriedly ran away.
"This kid..." Shen Xinlan couldn't help but laugh and scold him.
For the next two days, Yang Tian used the herbs to rub his body in the morning and then went for intense slow jogging. After two days, he felt his body getting better. He could jog for longer periods before feeling out of breath, which was a significant improvement from before when he would get out of breath after just a few steps.
However, Yang Tian now faced a problem: he was out of money. With no choice, he had to go to the beach to catch some lobsters and crabs to sell.
For others, it would be difficult, but for Yang Tian, who had the mysterious bead, it was as easy as picking flowers by the roadside.
"Brother, are you going jogging again?" Yang Shan, who was playing with her friends, ran over when she saw her brother.
She wasn't worried about being laughed at anymore. Yesterday, a big black dog came to the community, barking fiercely at her and her friends, scaring them. In the end, Yang Tian appeared and drove the dog away with a few stones. Her friends were all envious of having such a capable brother.
"No, I'm going to the beach in A County today," Yang Tian said, looking at his sister and affectionately patting her head with a smile.
"The beach?" Yang Shan's eyes lit up, and she unconsciously drooled, remembering the delicious large lobster she had eaten a few days ago.
"I want to go too!" Yang Shan pouted.
"Alright." Yang Tian thought for a moment. There were many children at the beach, so it should be safe. Yang Shan's friends, seeing that she was going to the beach, also insisted on going with her. They had heard from Yang Shan that her brother could catch very large lobsters.
So, Yang Tian led a group of children and set off for the beach in A County.
When Yang Tian arrived at the beach, he found that many people had gathered there.
"Buying! High prices for seafood! We'll buy as much as you can catch!" A few people who looked like bosses were holding up signs and shouting loudly.
Many young people were diving into the sea, surfacing occasionally to breathe.
After a while, Yang Tian understood what was happening.
It turned out that a few days ago, when he caught so many two-pound lobsters, someone had spread the word that this was a place where large lobsters gathered, attracting many seafood store owners. Two-pound lobsters are rare and live deep in the sea, so they have to be caught when seen.
Despite this, with the high rewards offered by the bosses, many skilled swimmers went into the water. Almost everyone had some success, with the most successful catching seven large lobsters and earning 1,400 yuan on the spot, which further motivated others.
Could there be more large lobster colonies here? Yang Tian pondered.
