Amelia insisted that she was fine, but at Logan's insistence, she was examined by a doctor as a precaution.
"Yes, there doesn't seem to be any particular problem."
At the doctor's words, everyone present let out a sigh of relief.
"However, your nutrition seems quite unbalanced. Also, it appears you haven't been getting enough sleep. Make sure to eat well, get plenty of rest, and take it easy."
With that, the doctor left the dining room.
"So... what is that, Amelia?"
Logan pointed to the empty vial and asked Amelia.
"Well... it's a recovery potion. It mainly works on the stomach..."
"Meaning, it's a stomach medicine?"
"Yes. The stomachache I had earlier was probably because... I hadn't eaten much for a long time, and when the nutrients suddenly flowed in, my stomach was shocked."
"In other words... it was a stomachache from overeating, right?"
When Logan summarized it, Amelia's cheeks turned apple red, and she bowed deeply.
"I'm so sorry for causing a commotion! It was entirely my fault... Even though the food in this house was too delicious, I forgot myself and ate greedily, ending up with a stomachache and causing everyone trouble... It was not the behavior of a lady."
"No..."
Honestly, Logan didn't feel the slightest bit of anger.
Perhaps it was a situation where he should have scolded her, but he had no intention of telling her to act like a lady, especially not in a public setting. Besides, she didn't do it out of malice.
Somehow, it felt too petty to scold her for something like this.
What Logan was really curious about was something else.
"Does the Haggle family have a renowned alchemist?"
"An alchemist...?"
Amelia tilted her head, not understanding Logan's question. Oscar then explained.
"The potion Amelia drank just now, both its immediate effectiveness and its potency, indicate that it is a very powerful concoction. It's of the highest class available in the capital, no, even better than that, I would say."
"Really...!?"
Amelia's reaction suggested that this was the first time she had heard this. Oscar's eyebrows twitched.
"Yes. So, I assume the Haggle family has an alchemist who is not just very skilled... but at a level that could serve in the royal palace."
At Oscar's explanation, Amelia made a slightly uncomfortable, awkward face. Logan noticed the change and frowned.
"Amelia?"
Is there something she's hiding?
As Logan leaned in closer to Amelia,
"...I made it."
"......What did you just say?"
Like a child caught in mischief, Amelia averted her eyes and said in a voice as soft as a mosquito's buzz.
"I made this potion."
