"Tomorrow at lunch, I'll make a bento, so you don't need to prepare anything!"

"H-ha…."

Even dragon slaying is a piece of cake for the guild master, Gilne. I was still struggling to accept the reality of the herb-gathering quest with her.

"Do you have any favorite side dishes? I can't cook as well as you, but I've started practicing recently."

"Wh-what!? Uh… then, how about tamagoyaki—"

"Milady Gilne! I beg your pardon!"

Just as I was answering Gilne's question, someone burst into the room, their face flushed with urgency. It was one of the guild's executives, the male adventurer known as "Divine Spear," Lady Natalia.

"Natalia, you didn't have permission to enter, did you?"

"Deal with the punishment as you see fit! More importantly, is it true that you will be absent from our dinner tomorrow?"

"Raphael told you, did he? That guy…"

Gilne sighed, looking annoyed.

"This is already decided. I need to prepare tomorrow's bento. Don't interfere."

"But, Milady Gilne! Are you really going on a quest with that boy Tim instead of attending our dinner?"

"Yes, he's right here. Don't shout so loudly; you'll scare Tim."

"Why!?! Milady Gilne, are you prioritizing this child over us, who have contributed so much as executives?!"

"Tim has also contributed, as a 'miscellaneous duties' assistant, handling tasks like cooking and cleaning."

"Miscellaneous duties!? He's not even a warrior!?"

Lady Natalia glared at me with a look of utter disbelief, as if to say, "Kill yourself right now." I felt like I was about to wet myself.

"…Milady Gilne, may we also speak?"

The sound of a knock at the door made Gilne sigh again as she granted permission to enter. Four of the guild's most renowned executives, all at the highest rank and known for their exceptional skills, entered the room. I shrank back, trembling, feeling completely out of place.

The wind magic specialist, the middle-aged male adventurer known as "Windcutter," Lord Nier, spoke first.

"We could hear it from outside. It's embarrassing to have our plans with you canceled for a 'miscellaneous duties' assistant."

Lady Lowe, the female adventurer known as "The Youthful Clown," who has mastered acrobatics, nodded while adjusting her cap.

"That's right~. It doesn't matter whether he's here or not. He's irrelevant, isn't he?"

Shaking in her full armor and helmet, "War God" Lady Minaz, expressed her indignation.

"Indeed! This is an intolerable humiliation! You, cut your belly now!"

Finally, the young adventurer known as "Superman," Lord Deidra, summarized the sentiment.

"Our rank is determined by 'strength'! It's presumptuous for someone like him to even speak to you, Milady Gilne!"

I nodded in agreement in my heart. They were right; I might never have the chance to see Milady Gilne in my entire life. The adventurer guild's ranks are divided into six levels: Beginner, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Mithril. Despite being a member for three years, I am still at the Beginner level and have yet to take on any quests. For someone like me, to have a super-beginner quest specially commissioned and to receive such attention, I would need to be reborn a hundred times.
