Chapter 7: The Youth's Interest was as Quick as a Flash

When it came to Fang Xiangxiang, it wasn’t surprising that HeJin agreed to anything.
This plot was not mentioned in the movie, but a movie could not include everything. But the dream world was a complete world, and it would logically fill in the various loopholes.
Since it was because of Fang Xiangxiang that HeJin agreed to the commendation, if he rejects it now, the goodwill in Fang Xiangxiang's heart will plummet.
It occurred to him that soon after, the little gege white moonlight in the plot was going to appear. At this critical moment, HeJin and Fang Xiangxiang's emotional path must not have any twists and turns.
HeJin refused was probably out of annoyance of being rejected by the guardian. After weighing the pros and cons, DuYan decided to go back to participate in the commendation, so as not to let the balance in Fang Xiangxiang's heart fall towards the little gege white moonlight.
DuYan opened his mouth and said to Teacher Chen over the phone, “No need to cancel. I will get him to participate.”
...
At 12:00 at night, HeJin got out of the taxi.
Tomorrow was Monday. At 7am he had to arrive at the school and do the flag raising ceremony.
But HeJin didn’t care. In other words, he didn’t care and came back so late on purpose. He was already ready to be late tomorrow and not attend.
No one cared anyway.
He thought bitterly. He had just shut the door, when he became stunned. The cars parked outside the garden were familiar. It was a black business car, and there was nothing special about it.
But wasn’t it the car that DuYan’s company specifically used to pick him up? Was that person back? HeJin sped up unconsciously.
He pushed open the door, and there were two people standing in the living room, a worn out DuYan and Assistant Li.
Assistant Li looked back at HeJin, and then continued, "President Xie, I will place these things here.”
DuYan nodded, "You’ve worked hard. Take a rest tomorrow.”
"Thank you." Assistant Li greeted HeJin, then closed the door and left.
HeJin walked up to DuYan, but only stayed still and stared at him, and didn’t know what to say.
DuYan's clothes were so stiff that no wrinkles could be found, and his hair was neatly combed back. It's just that his skin was originally whiter than ordinary people, which made the black and blue eye bags under his eyes all the more obvious.
Compared to the usual lofty look, the whole person looked gloomy and decadent.
HeJin thought for a while, and still asked, "Why are you back?"
"The matter over there just came to an end, and came back. I will go to school with you tomorrow."
Having said this, DuYan directly picked up the suitcase and went upstairs without waiting for HeJin's answer.
Cold and single-minded guardians didn’t need to listen to their children. In order to maintain his personality, DuYan didn't mention that he had compressed official business and solved it within three days and then rushed back.
HeJin looked at DuYan's back upstairs, then took out his mobile phone and sent a message to Assistant Li.
Since Assistant Li called last time, they had added each other’s WeChat. Assistant Li said that since DuYan was usually busy at work, if HeJin couldn’t find him, then he could contact her directly.
"Auntie Li, can I ask you something?"
"Ask away.”
"Has... my uncle been working hard these past two days? He doesn’t look very good.”
"Yes, we originally were going to stay in M City for five days. I don’t know why, but President Xie compressed it to three days and then came back. In fact, the company has nothing important going on here that required him to come back.”
After some time passed, Assistant Li sent another message, "In actuality, us assistants are fine. After all, we can change shifts. President Xie is different. The total amount of sleep he had in the past three days doesn't exceed five hours.”
So it turned out to be like this. It was really because of my call that he hurriedly finished his official business and hurried back.
HeJin stood in the living room, and looked in the direction of DuYan's room upstairs. HeJin felt the gloom from the past few days were swept away. When he thought of the man’s current black and blue eye bags, he felt a trace of guilt again.
Early the next morning, HeJin got up very early and sat at the dining table waiting for DuYan.
When DuYan went downstairs, he was wearing a well-tailored suit, a twill tie, and sapphire cufflinks.
It was late autumn, and DuYan wore a well-tailored khaki windbreaker outside of his suit, as if he was going to attend an international conference.
This person was always decent and elegant, and the clothes on his body were always the most classic styles, and nothing excessive.
This was obviously the type of person HeJin hated the most. He was so uptight with rules, HeJin felt that he was boring.
HeJin looked at the person in front of him, and then at his school uniform. Nanwai's school uniform design was not bad. The suit coat and white shirt worn by young people had a sense of youthful beauty.
But for a school tyrant like HeJin, he certainly would not wear the school uniform correctly. The shirt buttons were never properly buttoned, and the suit coat was always crumply.
HeJin used to think that he dressed pretty cool, especially as the leader of the group. However, now that he was standing next to the elegant and decent DuYan, he suddenly felt uncomfortable.
He obviously felt that DuYan’s appearance was very good looking, but HeJin touched his nose (1), “Isn’t it just a flag-raising ceremony. Do you have to wear so grand?”
It was the familiar cutting remarks, and he was unable to speak in a normal way.
DuYan buttoned the cufflinks and looked up at HeJin, "This is a matter of courtesy."
After finishing speaking, DuYan frowned and looked at the school uniform on HeJin, "You are wearing this outfit and going on stage to receive the commendation?"
The despised HeJin reflexively retorted, “Yes, so what?”
Although HeJin’s words were tough, he was expecting DuYan to pull down his arm, force him to change into a clean and ironed school uniform coat and force him to button up his shirt properly.
If DuYan really requested that, HeJin felt that because he had especially hurried back, he would just reluctantly cooperate with him.
DuYan turned around decisively, "Since it’s not me going up on stage anway. We’re almost late. Let’s go.”
What did that mean? It meant that since it wasn’t him getting disgraced anyway, why would he care? This uncle really didn’t care about him at all!
It was a new week, and HeJin, the leader of Nanwai, still went to school with a black face.
…
After the flag-raising ceremony, DuYan sat at the VIP seat and watched HeJin stand on the podium to receive the big red flower and commendation from the principal’s hand.
HeJin's face was dark, and his eyebrows were slightly frowned. It didn’t look like he was about to be commended. Had it not been for the big red flower on his chest, others would have thought he was on stage to be tried by other people.
It was stupid. It was so stupid. So stupid that DuYan couldn’t help taking his phone out to film the scene.
Xiao Ba finally couldn't help it, "What are you doing?"
DuYan replied, "Nothing. I’m just thinking that when I become the villain in the future and get crushed by HeJin, I can only look at this currently stupid looking HeJin to comfort myself then.”
Once the commendation ceremony was over, DuYan got up and prepared to leave. He had left the school so many years ago, that the noisy occasion made his temples twitch and panic.
He should hurry home to catch up on sleep. DuYan felt that if he didn’t sleep well, he might die suddenly.
"You want to leave early again?" HeJin's voice came over.
DuYan turned around and watched HeJin stride towards him. His expression was ferocious and he was gnashing his teeth, still wearing that silly big red flower on his chest. Just like a husky, this thought instantly came to mind (2).
HeJin had just rushed ahead of DuYan and saw the other party’s smiling eyes.
In an instant, HeJin felt that all the noisy sounds around him had turned into nothingness, leaving only a single and regular sound.
Boom--
Boom--Boom--
Boom--Boom--Boom--
The sound became louder and louder, faster and faster, until it occupied HeJin's entire mind. What was this sound?
