"Yah!"
*Plop!*
Tart swung down the iron blunt weapon and squished *Pururu* flat, defeating it. Then, *Pururu* disappeared, leaving behind the drop item, *Pururu Jelly*. This was a bite-sized jelly snack that could slightly restore health, a common snack for the masses.
"Master, I did it, nya!"
"Great job!"
Tart, who successfully defeated *Pururu*, was hopping around joyfully. I'm glad the blunt weapon I bought as initial equipment was useful.
Still, Tart is at a high level, so *Pururu* could be defeated even without a weapon...
"This is the material to get the *Adventurer's Bracelet* made, nya?"
"Right. Five *Pururu Jellies*, three *Rabbit Flowers*, and ten bundles of *White Flower Herbs*. I don't think it will take that long to collect them."
Actually, I think Tart could easily collect these on her own. I'll accompany her as a master, though.
"I'll do my best, nya!"
With renewed determination, Tart started defeating *Pururu* and *Flower Rabbits* one after another. ...Somehow, her fighting style reminds me of Frey... but let's just say it's my imagination.
"Still, what a nice view."
This is the *Road* field right outside the *Village of the Ranch*. There's a road where carriages can pass, but a little off the road, it becomes a grassland where weak monsters live and easy-to-collect items can be found, making it an ideal hunting ground for beginners.
On one side, there's the horizon. On the other, a forest can be seen far away in the grassland. It's probably the *Goblin Forest*.
Honestly, I'm not that interested in goblins, but I do want to fight various monsters. However, some of them might be gross or have ghost elements, so I'm curious about how realistic the descriptions will be... I guess they'll be quite realistic.
...It's both exciting and scary.
While I was thinking about these things while looking at the scenery, I heard Tart's voice, "I've collected them, nya~!"
"Already!?"
My disciple is incredibly talented!
"Once I got used to it, it was easy to defeat them, nya!"
"Really?"
Tart seems to be the type who can charge into anything.
I double-check the quantity and types to make sure they're correct. Yes, the numbers and types are all there. Perfect.
"Now that we have all the materials, let's go to Tzile and get the bracelet made."
"Okay, nya! I'm so excited, I can't sleep, nya~!"
She's like a child before a field trip, and Tart is very endearing.
"I was thinking of taking a few days to relax before we leave..."
"Let's leave tomorrow, nya!"
"Okay, let's go tomorrow."
Tart's face clearly showed that she wanted to leave immediately, and I couldn't help but laugh. It's not far from here to Tzile, so we should arrive by noon tomorrow.
Once we get to Tzile, we'll buy alchemy items and decide on Tart's *Alchemist* style. Based on her fighting style, she might choose to specialize in combat...
Tart put all the drop items in her shoulder bag and urged me, "Hurry up, hurry up!"
"Let's go to bed early today and leave first thing tomorrow, nya?"
"Okay, let's do that."
"Yay, nya!"
I was led by Tart back to the inn.

--- Night.
After confirming that Tart was sound asleep, I got up and went to the desk. I took out the stationery I bought during the day and picked up a pen.
"I should write a letter."
Yes, I've been putting off writing a letter to my family, and I plan to send it from here.
"But what should I write?"
...That Princess Ignacia is apparently in Tzile? But my parents probably already know. I'll write and ask if they have any information on her movements. Maybe I can get some useful information, and I can avoid dealing with Princess Ignacia.
What I want to see are grand landscapes, not Princess Ignacia's face.
I'll also write that I'm doing well. I've been blessed with good companions, and now I have a disciple... I wonder if they'll be surprised to hear that I suddenly have a disciple... Thinking about their reactions makes me a little happy.
"Mom, Dad, and my brothers... I hope everyone is doing well. I hope my family isn't in trouble because of me..."
I thought about political pressure being applied... but my mother wouldn't let that happen. She's always relaxed at home, but she's invincible in society.
After finishing the letter, I stretched and rested, thinking about my family.
