“I’m sorry?” Rong Juns voice brought back Yan Chen’s thoughts, the lad was looking at him curious what he meant by what he said, or was he just hearing things?

Yan Chen looked up and felt something warm was slipping down his cheek. Rong Jun who was opposite to him seemed to be frightened, he bent down and stretched his slender fingers out towards him, gently stroking the side of his eyes where the tears were falling.

Only then did Yan Chen realize that his emotions got the best of him, and he was crying out of joy and sadness at the same time from seeing again the person he loved the most, who he thought was already gone.

But at the same time, he also realized that the Rong Jun in front of him no longer remembered him.

“You, are you okay?” Rong Jun hurriedly distanced himself and fixed Yan Chen’s hair that got messy.

After asking, he felt that this question was somewhat stupid. Nevertheless, he couldn’t help but wonder why a man like Yan Chen would suddenly burst into tears out of nowhere.

Yan Chen took advantage of the situation and naturally put his arms on his shoulders, showing a little bit of pain, grinned a few times, pretending to be tortured by pain, and then rubbed his waist a few times. He couldn’t help but want to feel close again to Rong Jun’s body.

But Rong Jun was not having it, he took his hand away from his body, and waved at him with a forced smile.

“I’m fine, how about you? Are you hurt anywhere from the fall just now?” Seeing that he was worrying about himself instead, Rong Jun’s guilt deepened.

“I’d better take you to the infirmary, you don’t look like you’re okay.” Rong Jun spoke out of concern, and he laced his hand on Yan Chen’s arm again.

Although it seemed ridiculous that his small body supported the body next to him, Rong Jun also tried very hard to lift Yan Chen’s body, he was quite big after all, and him on the other hand was thin as a stick.

“I’m really fine, you don’t have to do this.” Although Yan Chen said that, he purposely staggered towards Rong Jun after that to make it seem like he was in actual pain.

“You can’t even walk straight,”

“It’s really all right.” Yan Chen interrupted him, and the arc of his eyes was just right to reveal a very gentle and friendly smile, and the words he said were so considerate that it made Rong Jun’s heart melt.

“It’s better if you hurry up, it’s the first day of class, you don’t want to miss the first subject, it won’t be good for your school record. I’ll be fine, you can go.” Rong Jun’s affection for him soared instantly, and the eyes that were gazing at him became extraordinarily gentle.

“How could I just let you go like this? You obviously still need my assistance.” These words shook Yan Chen’s soul, and ripples flashed in front of his eyes.

An indescribable wave of emotion surged in his heart. But fortunately, he knew his goal, and secretly made up his mind to continue to take advantage of Rong Jun’s kindness to get closer to him. “Actually, I still have to go to class, so I don’t really want to go to the infirmary.”

Just now, Yan Chen’s various behaviors made these words sound like excuses to Rong Jun’s ears, but he was also considering his situation, he really cared about his lessons and didn’t want to miss it. After a few seconds passed, he didn’t dare on pushing it and respected Yan Chen’s choice.

“Then… If you feel uncomfortable in the future, please contact me. I am Rong Jun from the Department of Political Science.” Rong Jun took out a pen and paper from his bag, wrote a series of numbers and stuffed them into Yan Chen’s hand, “This is my contact information.”

Yan Chen looked at the contact information that Rong Jun took the initiative to give him, and a trace of dullness appeared in his long and narrow eyes, staring at his hand and blinking a few times in a daze.

“Well wasn’t this too easy?” He murmured to himself without thought. The excessive joy in his heart making its way to his face as his lips slowly grew to form a disturbing smile.

Even though he tried his best to restrain and suppress his happiness, the two ears on the top of his head couldn’t overcome his instinct.

It shook several times with joy, and even his tail kept wagging to the sides. Rong Jun caught a glimpse of the fluffy tail behind him, his heart suddenly moved, his stared at it back and forth a few times, and only then did he discover Yan Chen’s animal shape.

“Hmmm… It turned out to be a dog, no wonder it is so gentle and considerate.”
