Yesterday, after Rong Jun left his seat, the atmosphere around Yan Chen gradually cooled.

With Rong Jun gone, Yan Chen’s expression turned cold and distant, and he remained silent even when others tried to talk to him. The person sitting next to him instinctively lowered their voice, feeling an inexplicable pressure in the air.

After a while, when Rong Jun finally reappeared in the restaurant, everyone unconsciously breathed a sigh of relief.

But soon, they noticed something was off, his steps were unsteady, his body swaying as if he could collapse at any moment.

Yan Chen immediately noticed this and stood up and hurried toward him. Before he could even cover half the distance, a few feathers suddenly drifted down from Rong Jun’s head. Then, a peacock tail emerged behind him, trailing along the floor.

Yan Chen slowed to a stop, momentarily stunned by the sudden change. Everyone’s attention shifted to Rong Jun.

The long tail dragged behind him elegantly, it was pure white without a single flaw, to put it simply, it was mesmerizing to look at.

Rong Jun’s eyes were fixed on the man approaching him, his hazy gaze gradually curling into a smile.

“Yan Chen~”

The soft, sweet call was utterly captivating, instantly drawing the attention of everyone nearby.

Under countless gazes, Rong Jun grinned foolishly, completely oblivious. The peacock tail behind him slowly lifted, its massive white feathers spreading wide with a rustling sound.

The scene looked like something out of a painting, stunningly beautiful.

The entire restaurant seemed to fall silent, most people staring blankly. A few snapped out of it and quickly pulled out their phones.

“Holy crap! The peacock’s spreading its tail!”

As Rong Jun’s tail brushed against him, it slowly folded back down. Rong Jun buried his face in Yan Chen’s chest, rubbing against him. The feathers atop his head brushed lightly against Yan Chen’s chin, tickling.

“Qingqing.” Yan Chen patted his back gently, but there was no response. When he lifted his face, he realized Rong Jun had already fallen asleep. The tail and feathers slowly receded as he lay limp in his arms.

…

Yan Chen carried the unconscious Rong Jun back to their room. Just as he laid him on the bed and straightened up, he was suddenly grabbed by the collar and pulled down into Rong Jun’s arms.

Moments later, his hair was tugged, first left, then right, before his head was roughly ruffled by both hands.

“Huh? Where did my wolf go?” Rong Jun muttered, then abruptly shoved Yan Chen away, his palm landing squarely on Yan Chen’s face.

Yan Chen sat on the edge of the bed, covering his nose, looking aggrieved.

“…You just hit your wolf.”

“Yan Chen.” Rong Jun sat up weakly, his gaze drifting before settling on the man in front of him. “I don’t feel very well.”

“You drank too much, of course you don’t feel well. I’ll get you some hangover soup. Lie down first.” Yan Chen helped him settle in, dimmed the bedside lamp, and stepped out.

Rong Jun had always been steady and reliable, something Yan Chen had never doubted.

Yet in just ten minutes, everything turned chaotic.

When Yan Chen returned, clothes were scattered across the bed and floor, the blankets were half-pulled down, and the bathroom light was on.

He set the things in his hands on the small table and quickly walked into the bathroom.

There, he found Rong Jun sitting naked on the shower floor, water pouring down over him. He kept shifting as if trying to avoid the stream, but the glass partition trapped him in place.

Yan Chen sighed, stepped forward, turned off the shower, and helped him up.

“Qingqing, what are you doing?”

“I don’t feel well… I wanted to shower.” Rong Jun swayed unsteadily, leaning heavily against him, his arms slipping around Yan Chen’s neck. “I fell earlier… my butt really hurts.”

Yan Chen held him steady and checked carefully, gently pressing. “Where does it hurt?”

“Ugh… I don’t know, it just hurts.”

Yan Chen moved his hand slightly. “Here?”

“…Yan Chen, you’re touching me so indecently.”

Yan Chen froze. “What? I’m not—”

Before he could finish, Rong Jun buried his face in his neck, breathing him in. Then his tongue brushed against Yan Chen’s Adam’s apple, and lightly sucked it.

“Qingqing…” Yan Chen stiffened, caught between hesitation and pure instinct to pounce on Rong Jun. Rationally, he knew Rong Jun wasn’t in his right state of mind, he shouldn’t take advantage of that.

But…

“Yan Chen…” Rong Jun cupped his face, his tongue brushing over his lips. His thumb pressed gently, prying his mouth open as he deepened the kiss.

“I like you when you’re fully transformed.”

Yan Chen’s restraint wavered. His arms tightened around him as he let himself succumb to the pleasure Rong Jun was giving him.

“I like you when you’re naked.” Yan Chen said teasingly.

“Pervert.” Rong Jun didn’t get angry as usual, instead, he laughed softly, the sound echoing in the small bathroom. Making the moment more intimate.
