Rong Jun lay soaking in the bathtub, his eyes half-closed, his mind still drifting far away.
The flush on his face and body gradually faded in the warmth of the water. He leaned languidly against the towel draped over the edge of the tub, allowing the man beside him to carefully clean him.
Yan Chen had only gone as far as once and didn’t dare push things further. After all, Rong Jun had just woken up and hadn’t even eaten yet. At that thought, a trace of guilt stirred in his chest.
“Qingqing… does it hurt anywhere?”
Rong Jun’s skin still carried a faint blush, and his dazed expression made him look especially soft and vulnerable. Exhausted, he lazily tilted his head toward Yan Chen, his voice hoarse.
“I’m fine…”
Yan Chen froze for a moment seeing the tempting look on Rong Jun’s face, his gaze darkening slightly. Realizing where his thoughts were heading, he quickly looked away and took a quiet breath before continuing to help him clean up.
…
When Rong Jun stepped out of the bathroom, he could still walk normally, though a faint ache lingered in his lower back.
He headed toward the bed, intending to lie down a while longer, but the sight before him made him stop in his tracks.
The bed was a mess.
And right in the middle of it lay the black underwear from earlier.
His face instantly flushed red. Without hesitation, he grabbed it and flung it at Yan Chen behind him, only for it to be caught effortlessly midair.
Yan Chen smiled, casually tossing it aside before walking to the door and opening it.
A double-tiered service cart stood outside, he had ordered room service earlier, choosing several of Rong Jun’s favorite dishes.
He wheeled it in and asked cheerfully.
“Qingqing, come eat something.”
“So you do remember I haven’t eaten.” Rong Jun huffed, clearly still annoyed, but not truly blaming him.

After eating, the two of them rejoined the group activities.
However, Rong Jun had completely forgotten about the major incident from the previous day.
So when a video of that very incident was suddenly shown to him, he nearly panicked.
“…”
Dressed in a thick ski suit, Rong Jun stood surrounded by a group of people, a phone held up in front of him.
His pupils trembled as he stared at the screen, forced to relive everything that had happened the day before.
His face went pale, then he flushed, and finally settled into a blank expression.
“This isn’t me,” he said flatly.
The phone’s owner kindly paused the video and zoomed in on the protagonist’s face, just in case Rong Jun needed a clearer look.
“How is this not you? You’re the only ‘white peacock’ here and your face is perfectly clear.”
Rong Jun stubbornly remained in denial and seized the opportunity to delete the video when the other person wasn’t paying attention.
“It’s no use deleting it. It’s already all over the school forum.”
Rong Jun staggered back, bumping straight into Yan Chen.
Yan Chen steadied him, with a bright infuriatingly handsome smile on his face.
Rong Jun: “…”
The surrounding onlookers, having thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle, then they gradually dispersed. Even from a distance, their laughter could still be heard.
“Want me to take the video down for you?” Yan Chen asked.
Rong Jun’s eyes lit up immediately. “You can do that?”
“Of course.”
“Then hurry up and do it.”
“But I have one small condition.”
Rong Jun shot him a fierce glare and even kicked him lightly in the shin. “What condition?”
Yan Chen didn’t seem to feel a thing as his smile only widened.
“Just say ‘husband, help me,’ and I’ll take it down right away.”
“…What kind of ridiculous fantasy are you having in broad daylight?” Rong Jun snapped. He shoved him aside with his shoulder and walked off toward the ski area.
The movement sent a sharp ache through his shoulder, but he endured it without showing anything on his face.
Acting as if nothing was wrong, he picked up his skis and set off smoothly, determined to prove he was completely unaffected.
At first, Rong Jun thought he could simply ignore the situation and wait for it to blow over. After all, everyone was on holiday, surely it would be forgotten soon.
But he was wrong.
The video had already spread beyond the school forum, reposted across multiple platforms. And because it involved Imperial University, it quickly drew attention.
Even Qu Po, who rarely went online, had somehow seen it and called to tease him. Old acquaintances he hadn’t spoken to in ages began messaging him one after another, asking if he was really the “white peacock courting a mate” trending online.
Only then did Rong Jun realize just how far the video had spread.
In less than 24 hours, it had reached this level.
If it continued, even if the attention faded after a few months, this would follow him for life.
At a complete loss, he bit his lip and reluctantly approached Yan Chen, his face flushed red with embarrassment and frustration.
“Hus…hus…hus…”
He tried to say it, but the word simply wouldn’t come out.
The harder he tried, the more humiliated he felt. A lump rose in his throat. He was already an adult, how could he still lose control like this after drinking?
Yan Chen had only meant to tease him but seeing the faint moisture gathering in Rong Jun’s eyes, he immediately regretted it.
He should have known Rong Jun’s pride meant everything to him.
“I’m sorry, Qingqing. I went too far.”
He pulled him into his arms, gently pressing his head against his chest, hiding his expression from plain view.
Rong Jun clutched his clothes tightly, suppressing a shaky breath.
“…Help me get rid of it…”
“Actually,” Yan Chen said softly, “I already had it taken down earlier.”
Rong Jun immediately punched him, harder this time, without holding back.
But even then, he didn’t pull away. Instead, he buried his face deeper into Yan Chen’s chest, hiding his utterly mortified state in his arms.
