"Why haven't you jumped yet?" Aoba took a can of beer out of the shopping bag, took a sip, and then leisurely looked at the man and said.

"How can you do this?" The man, looking at Aoba who was so close yet urging him to jump, said angrily.

"Why can't I do this?" Aoba, drinking beer and eating snacks, sat on the rooftop of a ten-story building, enjoying the brightly lit night view of Tokyo, and replied leisurely.

The man, not knowing what to say, huffed and went down from the ledge, preparing to leave.

"Cowards shouldn't pretend to commit suicide," Aoba said mockingly.

"I'm not a coward," the man immediately turned back and looked at Aoba, who was sitting on the ledge with his back to him, and shouted.

"If you're not a coward, why haven't you jumped yet after all this time?" Aoba continued to mock. For someone as weak as to attempt suicide, Aoba had never had a good impression.

"I dare to jump," the man shouted.

"Oh, then jump!" Aoba continued to drink his beer.

"I'll show you I can jump." The man, provoked by Aoba, came back to the ledge again, but looking at the cars below that were as small as matchboxes, he couldn't bring himself to jump.

Perhaps if Aoba hadn't appeared, he might have jumped in a moment of despair. But now, with Aoba's interruption, his emotions were stirred, and the fear of death and other emotions surged, making him unable to take that final step.

"Those who attempt suicide are all cowards! Let alone you, who doesn't even have the courage to commit suicide, you're even worse than a coward," Aoba continued to belittle him without hesitation.

But this time, the man didn't argue. Perhaps he felt ashamed of his own behavior, or perhaps he thought of all the sad things that had happened to him, and he began to sob.

His sobs grew louder, and he squatted on the ledge, crying out loud.

"Hey, hey, why are you crying? A real man doesn't cry. Aren't you ashamed?" Aoba frowned, looking at the man who was sobbing beside him.

"Leave me alone, I'm a coward who can't even commit suicide," the man said, covering his face and sobbing.

"Fine, I'll leave you alone," Aoba said, and continued drinking his beer, really ignoring him.

But after Aoba ignored him, he started talking to Aoba again.

"I lost, I have nothing left! To start this company, I not only borrowed from loan sharks but even mortgaged my house! But now the company is bankrupt, the loan sharks are constantly demanding repayment, and my wife has taken the children and run back to her parents' house. What else can I do but die?" the man said, wiping his tears.

"Instead of dying, you can still live!" Aoba glanced at him and said indifferently.

"Live? How can I live? The loan sharks are constantly pressuring me to repay the debt, how can I live?" the man's voice still carried a sob.

"Will dying solve your problems? If you die, are you sure those loan sharks won't go after your family?" Aoba glanced at him again.

"What else can I do? I have no way out!" The man started crying again.

"Truly a waste of space!" Aoba said disdainfully.

"Waste of space? You call me a waste of space? Then tell me, what else can I do?" the man said loudly.

"Since you don't want to live anyway, why not kill the loan sharks before you die? That way, after you're gone, they won't bother your family anymore," Aoba said indifferently.

"Are you telling me to kill people?" The man, realizing what Aoba meant, looked at him and said in a trembling voice.

"You're not afraid to commit suicide, but you're afraid to kill others? That's why I say you're even worse than a coward," Aoba said indifferently.

"You're right, I don't want to live anyway, I might as well kill them," the man stood up after a moment of silence and said.

"At least you have some spirit. I hope you won't back down halfway," Aoba looked at the man and said.

"Do you have any more beer?" the man suddenly asked.

"Yes, here," Aoba answered and threw a can of beer to the man.

The man stood on the ledge, caught the beer, opened it, and drank it all in one breath. He then threw the empty can down and jumped off the ledge onto the rooftop.

"I'm going to kill those loan sharks. I'm going to die anyway, I'll make those bloodsuckers die with me," the man said, his voice full of hatred. Clearly, he had been drained by those loan sharks.

Even the bankruptcy of his company was due to the loan sharks' greed, which had caused his company's cash flow to break, leading to its bankruptcy.

Now, with Aoba's words igniting the fire of hatred in his heart, it was normal for the man to react this way.

But the key was whether he would dare to act when the moment came, not just being hot-headed now. He shouldn't be scared and back down when he saw those loan sharks, but that was no longer Aoba's concern.

Feeling the man's figure disappear from the rooftop, Aoba didn't even turn to look. He just continued drinking his beer and enjoying the night view of Tokyo.

While enjoying the night view, Aoba's eyes clearly captured everything he saw. By focusing his pure yang energy in his eyes, Aoba could easily distinguish the tiny figures of people a kilometer away.

So, sitting on the rooftop and drinking beer, Aoba had already taken in all the streets around Shizune Hitagi's house from several hundred meters away. As soon as Shizune Hitagi returned, he would definitely notice.

As Aoba continued to drink beer, eat snacks, and enjoy the night view of Tokyo while waiting for Shizune Hitagi to return, a series of urgent police sirens came from the distance. A large number of police cars sped past the street below Aoba, heading in an unknown direction.

Seeing the police cars continuously gathering in one direction, Aoba frowned, sensing an ominous premonition.

If there was a crime worth so many police officers responding recently, it should be Shizune Hitagi, known as the "Killer." Could so many police officers be surrounding her? Could she have been caught while killing someone?

Thinking this, Aoba threw away the empty can, stood up, and, standing on the rooftop of a ten-story building, looked seriously in the direction the police cars had disappeared.
