"Look, it's a woman! Quick, chase her." A police officer shouted.

"A woman? I never thought the murderer would be a woman," another police officer said in disbelief.

"Stop talking nonsense, chase her quickly. She's getting away, and she has a lot of stamina! Has the police dog arrived yet?" A police officer who looked to be in a position of authority barked.

Battle-Field Yukishiro panted heavily as she ran quickly down a dark alley.

Just a moment ago, she had discovered signs of a burglary at a house, rushed in, and killed the two burglars. However, the homeowner she had saved called the police, and the police, who had been on high alert, quickly moved in to surround her.

Fortunately, she had been alert enough at the time and had not been seen by the homeowner. By choosing to run through the alleys, the police had not been able to identify her appearance even after chasing her for a long time.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have to run. If her appearance was known, it would be much easier to trace her address. She didn't want to leave her sister and wander far away. The only way was to shake off the police and absolutely not reveal her appearance.

Thus, the chase began, with Battle-Field Yukishiro running and the police surrounding her.

"There she is, I see her," a police officer shouted, and a large group of police officers surrounded her.

Battle-Field Yukishiro quickly changed direction and ran in the opposite direction, but the sound of sirens grew louder, and the path was blocked by police cars.

Seeing that she was about to be surrounded from all sides, Battle-Field Yukishiro stopped to catch her breath, tore the bottom of her sleeveless top, and ripped off the entire lower part around her waist, revealing her slender waist.

She then wrapped the torn part around her face, completely covering her entire face to hide her appearance.

It was already May, and the weather was getting warmer, so even with her waist exposed, Battle-Field Yukishiro didn't feel cold.

Dressed in a sleeveless top with the waist part removed, making it even shorter, and with her face covered, Battle-Field Yukishiro charged towards the police officers blocking the street at the end of the alley.

"Be careful, she's coming," the police officers who spotted her immediately shouted.

Battle-Field Yukishiro swung the katana in her hand, which was still in its sheath.

Although the desire for blood surged in her heart, she restrained herself and did not draw the sword but attacked with the sheath still on.

Unfortunately, the police officers clearly didn't see that the sword in her hand was still in the sheath.

"Be careful of her sword, shoot, shoot," the police officers drew their guns and fired at her as she crouched and charged quickly.

Facing the notorious murderer, these police officers were also afraid. Now that the murderer was raising her sword at them, who could calmly determine whether the sword was in the sheath?

Moreover, due to the brutal impression the murderer, Battle-Field Yukishiro, had left on the police, the Metropolitan Police Department had repeatedly reminded the officers to carry guns at all times and to shoot immediately when in danger before this operation.

Thus, the panicked police officers fired at Battle-Field Yukishiro as she charged.

Fortunately, these police officers were not shooting experts, and they were nervous facing the notorious murderer. Although they continuously pulled the triggers as she charged, most of the bullets missed, and she was not hit.

However, a few bullets grazed her body, and one even grazed her right arm, burning a wound into it.

The pain in her right arm made Battle-Field Yukishiro grunt, but the feeling of dodging bullets did not make her feel fear; instead, it made her more excited.

However, she still controlled herself and did not kill the police officers. When she finally reached the police officers, she swung her katana, still in the sheath.

Thud, thud, thud, several police officers were hit by the sheathed katana and fell to the ground in pain.

Battle-Field Yukishiro did not linger. Seeing the police officers fall, she quickly ran towards the opposite alley.

"This is Suzuki, this is Suzuki, she knocked us down and is escaping," a police officer said into the radio.

Another police officer, lying on the ground, raised his gun and aimed at Battle-Field Yukishiro, who was about to enter the alley, and fired.

The shot hit her left shoulder, and Battle-Field Yukishiro grunted again, holding her bleeding shoulder as she disappeared into the alley.

Breathing heavily, Battle-Field Yukishiro leaned against the wall of the alley, her right hand tightly pressing her left shoulder.

At the same time, the graze on her right arm was also bleeding, though not as severely as her left shoulder.

Battle-Field Yukishiro took off the part of the top she had used to cover her face and used it to bandage her left shoulder. Although the bandage was not very effective in stopping the bleeding, it was better than nothing.

As for the graze on her right arm, she had no time to tend to it because she heard footsteps approaching from a distance.

Battle-Field Yukishiro had to endure the pain and set off again, entering a park at the end of the alley.

Although the park had streetlights, there were also many bushes, making it a good place to hide.

Battle-Field Yukishiro moved through the bushes in the park, startling many wild ducks along the way.

Soon, she reached a water fountain in the park and began to fill a bucket used for cleaning.

Once the bucket was full, Battle-Field Yukishiro lifted it and, despite the cold weather of early spring, poured the water over herself.

The barking of police dogs could already be heard in the distance, so Battle-Field Yukishiro had to do this to prevent the dogs from tracking her.

The sirens outside the park grew louder, and more police officers arrived, even surrounding the entire park. It would be even harder for Battle-Field Yukishiro to escape now.

So, Battle-Field Yukishiro gritted her teeth, water dripping from her body, and with her left shoulder still burning, she walked towards a small pond in the park.

She soon reached the pond, took a straw from her pocket, and carefully submerged herself in the water, ignoring the blood seeping from her left shoulder and right arm and the cold water making her shiver. She left only the straw above the water to breathe and waited quietly.
