After a while, Miller sighed while seeing an address on his phone. Perhaps it was clear where Ben was. The information network of humans was faster than him, who relied on senses only. If he had known this, he would have really planted a location tracker on Ben’s cell phone.
[Left MKV too.]
Miller sent a text message while going to the address he had received.
Now he needed all the help he could get. Miller didn’t care whose help it was.

Daniel was out of his mind. He was confused as to why Aidan left him alone. When Daniel came back from the mart, he had an intuition as he saw the empty flat.
Aidan moved by himself to clear out what he had with Jonas. It was only possible that he went to meet Jonas, Aidan was really lazy and wouldn’t go anywhere. Plus, Aidan never left Daniel alone in the dark.
Daniel moved frantically to find clues about where Aidan might have gone. At that time, he got a text message.
[Library]
The number was unknown, but it was clearly Jonas. Perhaps this was a trap to get Daniel out. However, even if it was a trap, he couldn’t just leave Aidan alone.
Daniel ran out of the house and took a taxi. Aidan had gone out without saying a word when it was time the sun disappeared. That didn’t make him feel better. Daniel was in a hurry, but he was stuck in traffic because it was the rush hour. Daniel eventually got out of the taxi and started running frantically.
No matter how rushed heI was, he couldn’t seem to reach where Aidan was easily. He wouldn’t die easily, but Daniel didn’t know what would happen if his opponent was Jonas. He couldn’t guess how hard Aidan would be hit.
He lived tens of thousands of times longer than Daniel’s life, but he was still different. If Aidan fought Jonas and he got seriously injured, falling asleep, Aidan’s life might end. Daniel was out of breath when he thought about it.
Aidan stood face to face with Jonas on the roof of the library. Jonas had a look as obnoxious as Miller used to have. He had expected this to happen someday, but it was kind of rude of Jonas to text while he waited.
“It’s no fun if you look like you know it all.”
Jonas looked upset as if he was disappointed but then laughed again. He should have remembered that Jonas did a lot of emotional expression in the past and now.
Aidan looked at Jonas without saying anything and looked into the situation.
The reason for choosing a place to meet with a rooftop and open view was obvious. There must be a sniper in the building near them. The sniper may be aiming at him, but he didn’t think the snipers had bullets that could kill him.
Making bullets out of holy water was a danger to vampires, but if the sniper’s goal was Daniel, the story changed. The sniper must be aiming at Daniel, not him.
“You’re no fun, so average.”
Jonas grumbled while tapping on the floor with his toes, as if he had read Aidan’s thoughts.
Aidan was in despair. It was clear that Jonas really wanted to finish it all. Aidan quickly calculated what he could do.
Given Jonas’ direct appearance, Miller must have been in a tight spot too, and the bait that cornered Miller was clearly Benjamin, who Miller first thought was the bait to Jonas.
His foolish brother failed to properly deal with the mere feelings, making the relationship that had been fought so far completely dominated by one side.
Aidan sighed deeply. The more he thought about Jonas’ plan, the more thoughts were flowing in the last direction he wanted to go.
“What are you thinking?”
“How can I kill you?”
Aidan said as if he were throwing those words at Jonas. He meant it. Killing Jonas would bring all this to an end. The problems of the Dhampir and Miller had to be solved on their own.
Jonas chuckled at Aidan’s words. Aidan had a headache watching Jonas having fun alone in a boring situation. By now Daniel, who had gone to the mart, would have come back. Please, stay at home. If you keep coming here, you’ll be an easy target.
“I can’t believe you’re thinking of a human with that good head of yours.”
Jonas mumbled as if Aidan’s thoughts were obvious and aimed the gun at Aidan.
Aidan frowned slightly and looked at Jonas’ gun. Then, he realized what the gun was. Jonas couldn’t have put a normal gun in front of him unless he was an idiot.
When Benjamin visited him, he had guessed when he aimed a knife, not a gun, but he didn’t really know Jonas had his gun.
“This must be a little scary for you. I’m sure you’ll die if you get hit.”
“I guess so.”
Jonas giggled at Aidan as he pretended to be calm. Jonas turned the gun he had aimed at Aidan in reverse and headed to himself. Jonas laughed more when Aidan, surprised by the behavior, made his gaze sharp.
“If I kill you, what would I do alone in this boring world? Ah, no, it’s already become so normal. I have you and your brother, but I’m bored. Even the funniest things become normal, who else do I have to play with?”
It was as if a seven-year-old boy had been disappointed after his toy was taken away. However, Aidan knew how persistent the meaning contained behind those words was.
“So?”
“What happens if I pull this?”
When Jonas said as if he were thinking, Aidan sealed his lips. That was going to be the worst thing ever.
Jonas’ men were strangely loyal and would probably try to chase him until the end if they found out their boss had died. Definitely, there was no way to stop Jonas’ death.
He didn’t care, but Daniel was different. It was over if Daniel was bitten by those guys. He couldn’t share this awfully cursed fate with him.
Feeling thirsty and hungry all the time, this troubled life was a state of emptiness with nothing to feel. If he had not met Daniel, Aidan would have lived such a horrible life for hundreds of years.
Jonas, who was looking at Aidan’s face with a look of joy, put the gun under his neck.
“After dying, no one can stop this.”
Jonas spoke briefly, answering on behalf of Aidan as he hadn’t said anything.
“When I die?”
Aidan asked Jonas, who was babbling while swallowing dry saliva. He needed to save time.
Jonas flashed his eyes at Aidan’s words. It seemed that he could guess in his head what would happen if Aidan died.
“Ah, you dying is the best picture I can think of. Stupid brothers.”
Jonas said it as if he was excited just by imagining it. Jonas turned the gun around and aimed at Aidan again.
“I won’t die.”
Aidan clenched his fist and said. He had to think quickly. How could he take the gun from Jonas, without anyone of them dying. Only then this situation could have a happy ending.
“If you don’t die, everyone instead of you will, and I don’t think that is too bad.” Jonas opened his eyes wide with a scary look. The madness of joy reflected in his eyes. He was really crazy.
Aidan couldn’t move easily because he was wondering if there was a way to take the gun from him.
“I’m bored.”
Jonas mumbled in a really slow and weary voice and suddenly took out his cell phone and checked.
“Look who’s here.”
Jonas pointed down the rooftop in an excited voice and said. Aidan approached the rooftop railing hoping it wouldn’t be what he was thinking.
“Aidan!”
The moment he stood at the end of the roof railing, he saw Daniel looking up from below. Aidan clearly realized that the game between Daniel and Jonas was over. Now the sniper who was hiding somewhere would be heading perfectly for Daniel, or maybe getting ready to run out and bite Daniel.
“Dan.”
Aidan briefly called Daniel’s name.
“Daniel doesn’t have anything to do with this.”
Aidan said to Jonas.
“What the, why are you saying something so cliché? Aidan, my friend.”
Jonas approached Aidan with a dramatic expression. Aidan couldn’t now predict Jonas’ next move.
Jonas’ madness was unstoppable. Jonas would do his best to make Aidan and Miller unhappy.
Aidan stared at Jonas and ran straight ahead. He didn’t have the hobby of biting vampires, but now he had no choice.
Aidan stared at Jonas and rushed to him. Aidan pretended to bite Jonas, but held his hand and hugged Jonas with his body turned. Before Jonas could do anything, he pulled the trigger of the gun in his hand. The gun was fired while the bodies of the two were still together.
The gunshot sounded loudly in the night sky of London, and Daniel clearly heard it. Daniel was stiff, he couldn’t move. He knew intuitively that that wasn’t a normal gun, but he didn’t know who was shot. Daniel, who managed to come to his senses, started running to the roof of the building.
When he opened the door and arrived on the roof, both Jonas and Aidan were rolling around. It had only been one shot, but Daniel understood the situation at a glance when he saw both in pain. Daniel approached Aidan after passing by Jonas, who was rolling on the floor.
Because the two were hit, the amount of holy water that went into their body was much less than if only one of them was shot. Although it was a wound, they wouldn’t die. Daniel had no choice but to hope Miller would take care of them: Jonas must be locked up and he had to wake up Aidan again.
“Aidan.”
Daniel called his name in a desperate voice and hugged Aidan.
“Tell me you were just shot by an ordinary gun. You always did what I told you. Please.”
Aidan just laughed at Daniel’s words. Even if he didn’t explain it, he must already know Jonas was in so much pain.
Aidan paid attention to remember Daniel’s image. He didn’t know how long it would take until he woke up and how the world would unfold then, so he carefully remembered Daniel’s appearance so that he could definitely find him.
“I’ll find you, so don’t worry.”
Daniel knew Aidan’s words didn’t mean he would die, but at the same time, it was full of meaning that he didn’t know when he would wake up.
“Aidan! ”
Daniel called, almost screamed, his name, but Aidan had no intention of reversing the decision.
“Daniel, Dan.”
Aidan closed his eyes while affectionately calling Daniel’s name.

With a rough breath, Ben swung the knife at the guy approaching him. Screaming bitterly, another one fell, screaming desperately. There were already six of them rolling around on the floor, but the number hadn’t decreased at all. No, it was only increasing.
If further attacks continued, Ben was also in danger. He had never fought this many numbers and now he was starting to feel the limit of his physical strength. Thinking he was really going to be dragged, Ben bit his teeth hard.
Ben could feel them getting tired because of him, as he didn’t give in easily, but those who lived longer than humans seemed to be clearly aware that Ben was tired now.
They winked at each other and Ben clearly saw through the meaning of the eye gesture. Perhaps the next attack was for all the guys in front of him to run toward him.
His ominous beating heart complained of the pain. Ben took a deep breath and grabbed the dagger harder, as the sweating made his hand slippery. Maybe today would be Ben’s last hunting. Then, when he opened his eyes, he might have to run away just like them .
Ben counted the numbers in his mind.
Then, they shouted loudly and tried to run toward him, but they suddenly stopped and started shaking. Some of them collapsed because their legs were weak.
Ben watched puzzled those who were in pain as he didn’t understand the current situation. Soon, he hardened because of the familiar smell that he smelled.
It was a refreshing mint scent, and the smell of blood behind it.
The sticky smell turned Ben’s head. He walked slowly, as always, without showing any signs of a rush.
That body and relaxed steps belonged to the conqueror. Come to think of it, Ben had heard of it. A nobleman part of them who still existed and had a better class system than humans. Ah, he must have been not just a vampire but a noble vampire.
The vampires who attacked Ben were all on their knees just by the new person who had enterd the scene, as if they were of a lower class. This must have been why Jonas said he was tired when he met him in person.
Ben was now destined to be dragged away from here when Miller ordered them to.
Miller knelt before him and approached Ben ignoring them who couldn’t even make eye contact.
When Ben saw Miller, his heart tightened. Ben still loved him. Emotions, which perhaps would last forever, swirled wildly. Even if he resented Miller, he couldn’t help it. Feeling his vision blurred, Ben gulped down. Ben couldn’t say anything because of his sore throat.
The moment Ben turned his head without saying anything, he saw brown hair at the end of the alley. Come to think of it, there were more than one or two people around him.
The mark of ordinary humans was hidden by Miller’s smell. It was MKV. The moment Ben realized that that hair belonged to Joseph, he could see him reaching out. Of course, Joseph had a gun.
Ben turned his head quickly. There were a bunch of trembling vampires and Miller who seemed certain to control them , so Joseph was sure that Miller wasn’t human. Although there was a distance, Ben was surprised and called his name when he saw Joseph’s finger on the trigger.
“Miller-!”
A shot rang loudly in the back streets of London as Miller stopped walking toward Ben, and fell into a bottomless pit.
Scared of Miller falling, the vampires were busy running away in fright. A noble fell in front of them , so they couldn’t help panic. Sirens were heard in the distance and the surroundings turned into a mess.
Ben crawled after his knees collapsed. He couldn’t believe the reality he was seeing with his eyes, crying in pain beyond my body. He held his hands in the air and cried in a trembling voice with fear and anger. In succession, a shriek leaked out.
The bullet seemed to have stuck properly in Miller’s body, so Ben held onto the body that was turning blue at a rapid pace. He wanted to ask Miller why he came here and that he shouldn’t have cared about him anymore, but he couldn’t say anything.
The part where the bullet was shot was pressed tightly with both hands. Ben’s tears dropped. Miller raised his unpowered hand and scrubbed his eyes. Feeling despair again as he touched the low body temperature, Ben said almost screaming.
“You have an eternal life! Hurry, please, what should I do?! Please”
Ben rambled frantically, not really realizing what he was saying. Miller once again patted Ben’s face with a loving touch.
“I thought I’d never see you again.”
“Don’t waste your time. What should I do?”
Although Ben mumbled so loudly that it was hard to understand, Miller shook his head. Miller looked increasingly hard to breathe and was now blue to the end of his ears. Miller felt a burning pain because of the holy water flowing through the dry blood vessels. The unusually hot body made him realize that he felt pain.
“Say anything. Bite me!”
Ben shouted once again, but Miller shook his head. It meant that he knew it well. There was no way to stop the holy water once it started to flow. Ben knew it better than anyone else.
Ben screamed again in despair. It was a scream that felt like the roar of an animal.
“Please, don’t, quick, there must be a way, please, Miller.”
There was a deep despair in the crying voice. Miller touched the tip of his lover’s ear, and it was hard for him to even say his name.
“Actually I…”
“Don’t say it. Please, there must be a way. I’ll figure it out.”
He tried to recall a lot of knowledge taught by his mother, but she only taught them how to kill them, not how to save them.
“Miller, Miller. ”
Lamenting his head for not coming up with anything, Ben called Miller’s name in sorrow.
“Vampire or whatever, please, just live. Just stay alive. I can’t stand this!” Ben shouted at the sky once again.
“Shhh, Ben.”
Miller caressed his ears, calling affectionately as if to calm Ben. Ben was crazy about the fact that Miller’s fingertips were hot but his body was getting lighter. There was a rush of frustration. It had now been revealed that it was irreversible.
“Listen to me. You know there’s no way. I lost.”
As he seemed so indifferent, Ben began to tremble as if his heart was falling apart.
“You know, I never, ever said it.”
Ben snapped and signaled Miller not to talk. He was shaking all over his body. His fear was to be lonely in this world.
“God, please.”
Ben, who had laughed at Daniel looking for God, mumbled and prayed. Miller smiled sadly at the crying Ben with his head down. The smile meant that God would never save them , so Ben felt despair once again.
“I mean, I never said it.”
Miller began to gasp for air.
“I love you. I love you so much. Really, I lost, my love.”
As Miller finished talking, the hand that was in Ben’s ear fell.
Ben picked up the knife and cut his wrist. He then rubbed his bloody wrist against Miller’s lips. He didn’t know what would happen when holy water and blood flowed together. He just hoped that fatigue would soften the effect of holy water. Since it was Dhampir’s blood, he just hoped that it might be something like sucking blood.
Ben scrubbed Miller’s lips and blood was all over Miller’s face, but Ben didn’t care. Blurred vision, he rubbed his wrist several times on Miller’s lips. Miller’s mouth was covered with Ben’s blood.
Joseph ran and separated Ben from Miller’s body when he saw Ben’s half-conscious behavior. It was clear that someone other than him would suspect Ben.
“Let go!”
Although Ben screamed like crazy, Joseph dragged Ben into the police car. When Ben was in, MKV and other yard police arrived. Joseph handcuffed the rebellious Ben and locked him up in the car.
After moving for a long time to try to uncuff himself, Ben finally gave up. He was sick and had a headache, so he couldn’t move anymore. Ben looked blankly at the scene being cleared through the car window.
In front of Ben’s eyes, Miller’s body covered in white cloth was carried on a stretcher.
“Let’s leave first.”
Joseph said as he stepped into the driver’s seat. Joseph drove out of the scene without saying anything.
“I’m here because I was ordered to leave.”
Joseph hesitated to speak. Ben stared at Joseph. He was heartbroken. Joseph did nothing wrong. Joseph only dealt with it as part of MKV. Rather, Ben’s behavior was strange.
“Did you know that from the beginning?”
Ben asked Joseph. When Joseph saw the situation, he thought Miller was the leader and shot, but somehow the judgment felt too fast. Usually, if you have to shoot a person you worked with, you hesitate a little bit, but Joseph fired without any sign of it.
“No, but I was suspicious.”
“Of what?”
“I’ve been chasing vampires for as long as you, so in theory, his behavior was questionable.”
At Joseph’s words, Ben pressed his lips tight. It flashed through his mind that he handed over the data he had investigated. Now that Be thought about it, it was clear that Miller was so displeased at the time because the data was true.
“I didn’t think he was a nobleman, but I really think he was amazing.”
Ben didn’t say any more. The expression ‘amazing’ was right. Ben didn’t expect him to say that when he was dying. Because Ben couldn’t stop crying, he didn’t wipe the flowing tears.

Daniel stood helplessly in front of the tombstone. He was buried because he was dead. It’s a very simple fact, but Daniel still couldn’t believe it.
The cemetery where both of them were, looked similar to ordinary cemeteries, but unlike others, when the stone tablets were pushed, a coffin was underneath. There was a possibility that they would wake up one day.
Even if Daniel lived well, smartly and long, he would not be able to see Aidan again while he was alive. Hundreds of years from now, Aidan may wake up again, but Daniel wouldn’t live to see it. Daniel mumbled to himself ‘stupid brothers’ and turned around.
When he did, a familiar person was walking into the entrance of the cemetery. Wearing all black, he had no strength in walking as much as Daniel. It even looked beautiful for a moment because of the black clothes and golden hair scattered, but Daniel couldn’t resist and threw off the shoes he was wearing when he saw that face.
Ben, even when he saw the shoes hit his chest and fell, just stared at Daniel without saying anything.
“Why are you here?”
Although it wasn’t Ben’s fault, Daniel couldn’t forgive him. He couldn’t hide his resentment… if Ben hadn’t chased him in the first place, if he hadn’t made such a weapon, or if he had at least trusted Miller when he was sincere.
Ben bowed his head in front of Daniel like a sinner. Even more annoyed by that scene, Daniel threw off the other shoe.
Even though Ben was hit by dirty shoes, he didn’t move. Daniel shouted at Ben, who was still silent. It was better than doing something.
It was Daniel who buried the bodies there. It was a formality to bury the body, but Ben didn’t even come to the funeral. But why did you come here now?
“It’s all your fault!”
It was probably going to hurt. Even though he knew it, Daniel stared at Ben with his eyes.
“He had eternal life. It’s all your fault!”
Daniel now began sobbing in anger. Ben wrapped Daniel’s shoulder with his palm as he sat, as if his leg had given up. Ben couldn’t say anything but he couldn’t ignore Daniel.
Daniel and Ben both squatted silently for a while. Daniel talked when the atmosphere around the two cooled.
“My presence made Aidan like this, not because of you, but because of me.”
Daniel expressed his frustration. He needed a place to talk. There was no one around Daniel who knew about Aidan’s reality.
“It didn’t matter to me whether he was human or not, he was just Aidan to me.”
Daniel seemed to be talking to himself and not Ben. Ben was just listening without saying anything.
A little later, Ben, who sat side by side next to Daniel, who was calm now, looked at the park street reflected in the leisurely afternoon sun.
Ben heard from Joseph a few days later that Jonas and Aidan were killed by the gun he made. The gun at the scene was Ben’s. Jonas’ body wasn’t found among the two bodies, but Daniel, who was at the scene, testified. Jonas’ body must have been taken by his men waiting for his resurrection.
“What are you going to do now?”
At Ben’s question, Daniel stared at the gravestone and slowly opened his mouth.
“Maybe Aidan will come. I don’t know how long it will take, but he will come.”
Daniel clenched his fist and mumbled confidently to himself.
“What about you?”
“Me? I should wait too-”
When Daniel wondered about the mysterious answer, Ben giggled. Daniel didn’t know that a Dhampir could live as long as vampires, or maybe even longer.
Joseph’s bullet wasn’t completed. Ben himself did not know what would happen when Dhampir’s blood and holy water flowed together into the blood vessels. He couldn’t help but wait in anticipation just in case.
“Where?”
Ben gave a secret smile to Daniel’s question.
After a short conversation, Ben got up first and began to walk slowly, and a ray of sunshine flowed through the clouds.
Daniel stared blankly at the glimmering blonde. The sparkling blonde looked as if it were hope itself.
