Getting out of the hotel’s restaurant, the two got into the elevator to a bar that had a front glass where they could see a panoramic view of London’s night view. Thinking the atmosphere was too good for two men to come, Ben sat by the window.

“What do you want to drink?”

“I usually drink beer, but I don’t think there’s any here for some reason, so please order anything moderately.”

“Moderately, that will be hard.”

Miller raised his hand slightly to call the server.

“Tequila, please.”

He said that it would be hard, but he ordered right away as if he had in mind. A little later, two glasses of alcohol, lemon and salt were prepared on the table.

“Do you like it?”

“It’s hard to say that I like it. I ordered it because I thought I needed a strong drink, but it’s not my favorite drink.”

Well, a noble man and Mexican liquor didn’t go well together. Miller held out his palm and said.

“Give me your hand.”

Ben made a suspicious look but he still gave him his hand. Miller spread the prepared salt on the table at the end of his thumb to the back of his hand.

“What are you-”

“It’s not my favorite drink, but I’m going to enjoy it.”

Ben felt embarrassed by Miller, who spoke without any shame, and he couldn’t take his hands off as he was spaced off. The prickly surface of the salt spread out, and Ben tried to pull his hand back, but Miller held tight and didn’t let it go.

Miller stared at Ben’s face and licked the salt with his tongue. Every time the bright red tongue moved, an energy went through his toes and his lower abdomen felt tight. Ben closed his eyes as he seemed to be captivated by the gray eyes that revealed his hidden desires.

His caught wrist felt hot. The movement of the tongue felt more sensational in his eyes, so Ben crossed his legs under the table.

Eventually, when Ben opened his eyes, Miller bit his hand and opened his mouth.

Before Ben said anything, Miller emptied the glass in front of him, picked up a slice of lemon and put it in his mouth, with a satisfied smile on his face. The sour smell of lemon also hung over Ben’s nose.

“You could have just dipped the lemon in the salt.”

Ben complained quietly even though he knew it was already late. The more time he spent with this man, the less he thought.

Miller picked up the salt and sprayed it on the back of his hand this time. Then, he put the back of his hand in front of Ben’s mouth, who had a look of doubt on his face. The smell of salt was mixed with the smell of Miller’s hand, creating a subtle harmony.

“If you’re upset, do it too.”

In a teasing tone, Ben grabbed Miller’s fingers and clenched them tightly.

“Ugh-”

Perhaps unexpected, Miller’s mouth let out a short groan. Unconsciously, Ben grabbed his hand and moved his tongue along the trail. Salt crystals began to dance on the tip of his tongue. The back of the hand was soft and didn’t look like a man’s. Ben smacked his lips widely with his tongue.

A little later, he took off his moving lips, emptied the glass in front of him, and bit the lemon as Miller did. As a sour taste spread in his mouth, Miller saw Ben frowning.

“Shall we drink another one?”

Of course, he wanted to, but he thought he would do something ridiculous if he drank another one.

“Let’s have one another time.”

He said this to mean ‘no’.

“That’s too bad.”

Ben was stunned by the look of regret. With a neat-looking face, Ben recalled Miller’s tongue that was on his hand a while ago, making his face blushed. This was a mess.

“Why are you doing this?”

Miller swept his hair, looking at Ben, who had already done everything he had to do and was slightly irritated.

“Isn’t it obvious the meaning of ‘going for a drink after dinner’?”

In Miller’s response, Ben’s mouth was half open. With that face, he became the director of MI6, so it was hard to see how this was happening. In addition, he and Miller were acting like they would eat up each other only a few days ago, which made it more strange.

While he thought he shouldn’t have asked for a drink, Miller called the server and ordered Bombay and Lime. Even though he was ordering a drink, he spoke to the server as if he were ordering a dish. He kept his eyes on him and was quite nervous about his embarrassing behavior.

Ben looked at Miller and concluded that he wasn’t boring. He accepted his offer as a temptation, and didn’t reject it, so he wanted to be carried away. To do so, he decided not to care if Miller was suspicious.

He was attractive enough and friendly. And above all, he stopped worrying about him. It was a little silly to let go of the guard so quickly, but he still couldn’t help it. It was his first time meeting someone after work.

Ben rationalized while looking at the face of the man with a soft smile on his face.

Pretending not to hear the loud ring, Ben lifted up the blanket and buried his ear on the pillow.

No one came to his apartment as he lived alone. Thinking it was a religious person or a peddler, Ben tried to sleep more. The ring, which had been ringing persistently for several times, stopped.

Ben squirmed under the blanket in a relaxed mood. He needed to stop by the yard and check the identities of the guys he dealt with this time, but he didn’t mind going later in the afternoon.

Ben, who woke up because of the noise, grumbled and recalled with his eyes closed to see if there was anything to eat for breakfast.

Meanwhile, Ben made an impression when he saw a cell phone ringing loudly, showing off its presence on the bedside table. There was only one person who would call him anyway.

With his eyes open and staring at his cell phone, Ben thought he wanted to get rid of it quickly after finishing work.

Last night was really weird. It was as if he was possessed by something. He hadn’t asked anything about McDowell Jonas. It was only after Miller took him back to Ben’s apartment and left that Ben realized that he had been dragged around as Miller wanted.

He had never drunk tequila like that. It was also insane that ignored everything and did such a thing with a man, not a woman, and the person he needed to suspect of every move he did.

He felt weak because he took care of too many guys at once. Looking at the constantly ringing cell phone, Ben finally pressed the button.

“Where are you?”

“Home.”

Suddenly, Ben answered sullenly when asked where he was.

“I’m in front of your house. Come out for a second.”

He was even more annoyed because the one calling him non-stop since morning was Miller as expected.

Ben got up slowly on purpose, washed his face and changed his clothes. His phone rang again when he was in the bathroom, but he pretended not to hear it.

When he opened the front door after preparing, he saw Miller leaning on the black umbrella. His heart fluttered when Ben saw his face. His sense still told him that Miller wasn’t a normal human being.

“It’s still morning, right?”

Miller pretended to be kind, but his mouth was shaking as if he was irritated from waiting. He nodded silently and took the lead. Judging by the direction they were going, he felt like they were going to a nearby sandwich shop.

“What is going on with you this morning?”

It wasn’t like that last night, but this morning, Miller’s changed attitude impacted him. He sighed because he thought he was a person with a rhythm impossible to follow.

“What happened?”

“Nothing. What would-”

Miller grabbed Ben’s wrist while saying nothing, pulled him into an alley and leaned against the wall. Their eyes met right away because they were about the same height.

Ben missed the timing to get angry and glanced at him with his eyes wide open.

“What’s wrong?”

His heart began to beat like crazy at that gaze that seemed to say that he would not miss even the slight change.

Ben looked into Miller’s eyes to figure out the meaning of the question. He could see himself in the gray eyes. Ben, who couldn’t stand the pungent smell that apparently came from Miller, avoided eye contact first.

Miller clicked his tongue as he watched Ben’s behavior. He regretted a little last night, he should have stayed with him until morning instead of letting him go home.

He thought Ben would be wary again if he narrowed the distance too suddenly, but he was at the starting point again. If he knew this would happen, he would have just held it.

“Didn’t we get closer yesterday?”

Miller talked seductively using his low voice. Ben slowly opened his mouth as he felt compelled to grab his trembling heart.

“I don’t usually feel well in the morning.”

After making excuses in a faint voice, Miller grabbed his wrist and took the lead.

As expected, they arrived at a sandwich shop after being dragged away. Miller ordered a sandwich and hot chocolate and put them neatly in front of Ben.

“You’ll feel better if you eat something sweet.”

Delicate and affectionate hands, a worried tone, and a loving gaze. Yeah, this was just like a man comforting his angry lover.

Damn , Ben’s chest tickled as he was crazy about the idea. His alertness began to fade again like last night.

“But what’s going on?”

Picking up the sandwich, Ben asked in a dumb, fully relaxed voice.

“Several people died a few days ago, so I didn’t think they were going to do anything noticeable for a while, but it happened again last night, and this is the main culprit.”

Miller stuck out a picture in front of Ben. The moment he saw the man’s golden hair in the picture, Ben realized who he was. In an instant, his whole body heated up with anger, and his stomach became numb. He reached out his trembling hand and held the cup in his hand.

He knew him because of his mother. He didn’t care whose seed he was born with, but he never thought they were genetically similar as they weren’t human.

However, they looked alike. Ben also felt like throwing up. His face in the mirror and the face in the photo were overlapping in his mind. His blood seemed to stop flowing when he saw him.

“Where should I go?”

Ben unconsciously headed for the weapon on his side. Now that it was going to happen, he didn’t want to delay it.

Miller smiled quietly and said.

“Eat some for now.”

Miller pushed the sandwich plate to where Ben was.

Ben stared alternately at the sandwich and Miller’s face, looking at his stubbornly pressed lips. Ben reached out for the sandwich, realizing that Miller wouldn’t say anything until he finished eating the sandwich.
