After a long while, He Moming slowly regained consciousness. The increasingly clear vision made He Moming realize that he had fallen into an unknown place during his previous actions. However, despite the unfamiliar surroundings, he felt a strange sense of familiarity. He Moming fumbled around in the cockpit and found a small box under the pilot's seat, marked with a red cross.

"Just a lucky guess, and I actually found it," He Moming muttered, looking at the small box in his hand. Then, he opened the cockpit door, supported himself with his left hand, and landed on the arm of the VF-1, jumping down to the ground in a few quick movements. Looking back, he saw that half of the VF-1's body was buried in the debris. If there had been more debris, He Moming would have been trapped in the cockpit, waiting for rescue.

He Moming rubbed the back of his head, shrugged, and took a few steps forward. Suddenly, a hint of blue caught his eye. Shifting his gaze, he saw a girl lying on a pile of debris not far away. He Moming thought for a moment and recalled that this unconscious girl was the one he had saved. Looking back at the now shattered VF-1 and then at the unconscious girl, he couldn't help but smile bitterly.

He Moming took a few steps forward, his gaze sweeping upward. Due to the angle, he could only see her ocean-blue hair; her face was hidden in the shadows.

"Ugh..." Before He Moming could approach to get a better look, the girl slowly woke up. Hearing the movement, He Moming instinctively took a few steps back.

"Where... Who are you? Where am I?" The girl supported herself with one hand and held her forehead with the other, sitting up. She then looked around, her gaze focusing on He Moming.

"Um... I... I don't know where we are either. It's probably some kind of control hub. I saved you during a battle, but my machine was severely damaged, and now we're in this situation," He Moming said, steadying his nerves.

"Machine? Control hub? Ah! Were we attacked by aliens? What's the situation now?" The girl muttered, then suddenly exclaimed.

"Calm down! I think it's fine now. But for us, the situation is bad. The machine is too damaged to even communicate, so we can only wait for rescue or find a way out from here." He Moming pointed to the half-buried VF-1 and shook the emergency box.

"Is the situation that bad?" The girl's gaze shifted to the now tragic VF-1, and her mood sank.

"Um... I think the rescue team will come soon. Although I'm not very confident myself." He Moming was also unsure, as the events that had transpired were different from what he knew.

"Ugh... Never mind. It's better this way. Thank you for saving me. Um... Are you a soldier? I heard you saved me in a machine." The girl quickly recovered her composure and thanked He Moming.

"Soldier? I'm not sure. I'm just a flight trainee." He Moming shrugged and smiled.

"Is that so? I'm Lin Mingmei. Thank you for saving me." The girl smiled and bowed to He Moming.

"Oh, no need for such formalities. Saving people is... wait... What did you say your name was?" He Moming jumped up, startled.

"Um... I'm Lin Mingmei." The girl was startled but quickly recovered.

"Lin Mingmei! Lin Mingmei!! Lin Mingmei!! So the song I heard in the square earlier was you singing, right?" He Moming said excitedly.

"Ah, yes. I was giving a concert earlier." Lin Mingmei nodded.

"I see. I see." He Moming suddenly felt a sense of relief.

"Um... May I ask your name?" Perhaps due to He Moming's earlier actions, Lin Mingmei asked cautiously.

"Oh, sorry. I got a bit excited. I'm He Moming." He Moming calmed himself and said.

"He... He Moming. Mr. He." Lin Mingmei bowed again.

"No, no. Just call me Moming, or even just Moming. Don't call me Mr. I'm only 20 years old." He Moming quickly said.

For a moment, the two of them politely deferred to each other, creating a lively atmosphere.

"Alright. Just call me Moming. Can I call you Mingmei?"

"Ah, sure." Lin Mingmei thought for a moment and nodded.

Gradually, the two of them fell into a very quiet atmosphere. He Moming opened his mouth several times, but the words always slipped away. He felt a sense of frustration.

"It's so quiet. I haven't been in such a quiet place for a long time. Every day is filled with endless work and a packed schedule. I keep spinning like a top, not knowing where to stop." Lin Mingmei sat down, hugging her knees, and spoke softly.

"Big star, you must be very tired." He Moming thought for a moment and said.

"What? Big star? I'm just a singer. I'm not a big star!" Lin Mingmei waved her right hand, denying it.

"I saw it. In that movie, you and that someone were rumored to be in a relationship." He Moming paused and continued, "And you even kissed."

"Um... You know about that? Where did you hear it?" Lin Mingmei stood up and approached He Moming, asking.

"I read it in a magazine." Under the gaze of her bright, captivating eyes, He Moming felt immense pressure, desperately trying to recall the plot.

"Oh... A magazine. An entertainment magazine, right? I knew those reporters would make things up. It was all fake. Just for publicity." Lin Mingmei sighed and said softly. Then, she gave a charming smile. "It was just acting."

"Is... Is that so? It was just acting. Ahahaha..." He Moming felt the pressure increase as the girl approached, the scent of her perfume filling his nostrils, causing his hormones to surge.

"Right. Acting. Do you want to try?" The girl's smile was filled with mischief as she stepped closer to He Moming. The more she approached, the more flustered He Moming became, and her bright eyes became even more captivating.

As her beautiful face drew closer, He Moming's heart beat faster. He remembered the sadness he felt when watching the original Macross, the hatred he had for the evil cousin, and the regret he felt for the unrequited love between Hikaru and Mingmei. All these emotions became clearer as her face drew closer, leaving him completely unprepared.

He Moming could feel every breath she exhaled clearly. Her bright, captivating eyes reflected his own face, and her red lips emitted a seductive scent, igniting the flames in his heart again and again.

The flames in He Moming's heart grew hotter, and a surge of blood rushed to his head. Looking at her increasingly captivating eyes and her red lips, feeling the mysterious emotions of intimate contact, he found it impossible to resist. In that moment, before Lin Mingmei could react, he tightly embraced her and kissed her fiercely. Lin Mingmei was startled and struggled, but He Moming, sensing her struggle, gradually softened his rough movements. His lips gently and passionately pursued hers.

Time quietly slipped away, and the atmosphere between them became increasingly enchanting, filled with intoxicating emotions. Suddenly, a vibration startled the two of them. Before they could react, the world plunged into darkness. The situation that followed made it impossible for them to dwell on the previous enchanting moment, as they were now in a state of weightlessness.

He Moming held Lin Mingmei tightly, knowing that letting go would result in a slap. But he continued to hold her, and Lin Mingmei remained silent in his arms.

A faint collision sound echoed in the void. He Moming felt the cold metal behind him and sighed in relief. Moving his right hand, he realized he was still holding the emergency box. He smiled bitterly and switched to his left hand, feeling around behind him and finding a ring-like object. Then, He Moming faced a problem.

"Um. Mingmei, can you loosen your grip a bit? I need to get a flashlight." He Moming's voice trembled.

"Um." Lin Mingmei responded softly, and the two of them moved slightly apart.

This small distance made He Moming breathe a sigh of relief. Stabilizing himself, he opened the box and felt around. He hoped the flashlight in this world wasn't too different. He Moming prayed.

After a while, He Moming found a cylindrical object in the box. Feeling what seemed to be a switch, he pressed it, and a beam of light broke the darkness.

He Moming shone the flashlight around and then placed it in the air, as they were in a weightless state. He Moming thought casually.

At that moment, he saw Lin Mingmei's face, glowing with a wine-red hue. He Moming didn't know what to say.
