The sound of knocking on the door echoed.

"Please come in."

He Moming followed a Unified Military officer who was leading the way and entered the room. The room felt very spacious, with a super-sized world map hanging on the left wall, and beside it were two bookshelves filled with books. A 2-meter-long desk was placed on the right side of the room, and He Moming's gaze fell upon a middle-aged man with a beard sitting in a chair, holding documents and reading them.

"Captain, He Moming is here. Please give your instructions." The leading Unified Military officer saluted.

"Hmm. You can leave now." The bearded middle-aged man put down the documents he was holding. The Unified Military officer saluted again and left the room.

He Moming stood still, silently enduring the scrutiny of the bearded middle-aged man.

"I've read the reports and video footage about you. Your piloting skills are passable, but you look more like a civilian than a soldier." The bearded middle-aged man observed for a while, then stood up and said.

"Um, I am indeed not a soldier." He Moming was taken aback and said subconsciously.

"Ha ha ha... Don't be nervous, Warrant Officer. This isn't the battlefield you were in before. I am Captain Gloval of the SDF-1 Macross. Yes, your immediate superior from now on." The bearded middle-aged man walked in front of He Moming, extended his right hand, and patted He Moming's right shoulder.

"Wha?" He Moming was momentarily at a loss.

"What's wrong, Warrant Officer? Did the previous battle give you post-battle hallucinations?" Captain Gloval looked at He Moming seriously and asked.

"No, no problem, sir." He Moming replied loudly.

"Hmm. You seem to be doing well. Come, take a look at this document. It's all about you. I'd like to hear your opinion." Captain Gloval flipped through a pile of documents on the desk and handed one to He Moming.

He Moming took the document, thought for a moment, and began to read. The more he read, the more alarmed he became, and the more cold sweat trickled down his back. According to the plot, when He Moming appeared in this world, there were no so-called alien spies. However, don't forget that during the Earth Unification War, the Anti-Unification forces, the long-standing rivals of the Unification, were always a persistent threat. Even as humanity spread across the galaxy in the subsequent Macross series, the Anti-Unification forces remained active in the shadows. The document He Moming was now reading was about himself, and it speculated that the possibility of He Moming being an Anti-Unification spy was over 60%. This was very dangerous! If Captain Gloval believed even a little of the document's analysis, He Moming would be in serious trouble.

"Report, sir! I have finished reading it." After flipping through the last page, He Moming took a deep breath and said loudly.

"State your opinion." Captain Gloval reached for a pipe on the desk and said without turning his head.

"I think this document is a load of nonsense!" He Moming said firmly. At this point, he had to stand his ground, even if he couldn't explain his origins.

"Oh, state your reasons." Captain Gloval put the pipe in his mouth and began to smoke.

"If I were an Anti-Unification spy, why would I pilot a mech to kill the invading alien army?"

"Perhaps you wanted to attract the attention of the higher-ups, like me. Isn't that the case now?" Captain Gloval exhaled a puff of smoke and sat down.

"Before that, I even risked my life to save someone, falling into the engine power area. Wouldn't destroying that area be the fastest and most effective method?" He Moming, through the layer of smoke, couldn't see Captain Gloval's expression.

"Is that so?"

"Yes!"

After a brief exchange, the room fell silent. Except for the rising smoke, everything in the room seemed to be a still image. After an unknown amount of time, just as He Moming was about to lose his patience, Captain Gloval put down his pipe and pressed a button.

"Notify Roy to come here." After receiving a response from the operator, Captain Gloval looked at He Moming again.

"Warrant Officer, compose yourself. Your new assignment is to serve in the Skull Squadron. Do you have any questions about this order?" Captain Gloval looked into He Moming's eyes and asked.

"Report! I will not disappoint you, sir." He Moming straightened his body, saluted, and said loudly.

"Hmm. Sit over there. Roy will be here in a while. I still have some business to attend to." Captain Gloval said, then picked up a document from the desk and continued his work.

He Moming walked to the side and sat down, remaining silent. In reality, a large yellow-framed box appeared in front of He Moming. As his thoughts fluctuated, the yellow frame transformed into a series of images: scenes from when he first arrived in this world, scenes from when he first entered the VF-1 cockpit, scenes of being toyed with by the Zentradi and using all his wits to counterattack, and scenes of meeting Lynn Minmay. After all these images played out, the voice of AI Veros sounded again.

"Defeated one challenger. Earned 1000 reward points, one equipment draw opportunity. Silver Chest: 1."

"Triggered and completed a side quest: Main character's affection increased: Intimate. Earned 2000 reward points."

After confirming with Veros several times, He Moming finally confirmed his speculation. The tough opponent he had fought before was indeed the so-called challenger, the biggest enemy in this world. Fortunately, through Veros, He Moming learned that this was a beginner's world, and challengers were generally 1-2 in number. This made He Moming feel more at ease, allowing him to focus on following the original plot. However, the biggest variable was He Moming himself. Every move he made could cause the plot to deviate. Thinking about this, He Moming recalled the day he fell into the engine power area and the moment he met Lynn Minmay.

"Slap!"

"..."

"..."

"Sorry! I lost control for a moment." The pain on his face was evident, indicating how hard the slap was. He Moming felt a wave of regret, wondering how he couldn't resist the temptation. Previously, Hikaru Ichijyo had been kissed forcefully.

Just as He Moming was filled with regret, a smooth touch gently caressed his stinging right cheek.

"I'm sorry," the girl said softly.

"No, it was... an accident," He Moming's voice grew softer at the end.

"No, it's all my fault. Besides, don't we need to find a way out more than anything else?" Lynn Minmay pointed to the flashlight in He Moming's hand.

He Moming nodded but didn't move. His gaze wandered around the area. Seeing this, Lynn Minmay took the initiative to extend her right hand and held He Moming's left hand.

"Let's go."

Despite their repeated efforts, He Moming and Lynn Minmay, due to their lack of knowledge about the engine power area, were unable to find a way out. They spent seven days in this unknown area before being discovered. Subsequently, He Moming was summoned by the captain and separated from Lynn Minmay.

He Moming shook his head, forcing himself to wake up from the wonderful seven-day memory. Looking at the frame in front of him, He Moming focused on a chest icon, thinking about opening it.

After a flash of white light, the chest icon disappeared, replaced by a brain icon. He Moming looked at it, and a line of explanatory text gradually became clear.

Mental Frenzy: As the battle intensifies, the soldiers' minds become increasingly anxious and frenzied. At a critical moment, a soldier suddenly loses control and bursts with unparalleled combat power, turning the tide of the battle. Afterward, numerous researchers used various methods to replicate and condense this moment of explosive combat power into a powerful skill. Skill Level: C [Unknown Attribute] [Note! This skill has significant negative effects. Use with caution.]

He Moming looked at the explanation in silence. The skill was powerful, but he himself was weak. The skill was good, but the negative effects were likely significant. However, He Moming was weak. Even if the negative effects were severe, they would be meaningless if he died. If he didn't die, there might still be a chance. With this thought, He Moming clenched his teeth and confirmed the skill in his mind.

The skill icon turned into a flash of white light and merged into He Moming's body. He Moming felt something unusual in his mind, but he didn't understand what it was. He knew that once triggered, it would unleash tremendous power. That was enough. He Moming thought to himself.

His gaze shifted to a wheel icon, and He Moming naturally thought of the equipment draw mentioned earlier. Perhaps he could get something good. With this thought, He Moming activated the wheel. The wheel spun rapidly, and as it slowed down, He Moming became increasingly nervous. At the peak of his tension, the wheel suddenly stopped, and an oval icon appeared.

GN Sun Furnace: Full name "Gundam Nucleus Drive (GND)," it is the power source used by the Gundam, a semi-permanent energy device. The [Cosmic Egg] particles constrained within the TD filter layer can produce nearly infinite subatomic particles called GN particles, which are a type of photon. The principle is that when heavy particles evaporate and cause mass collapse, they produce a large amount of positrons and photons (i.e., GN particles), thus generating enormous energy. The Sun Furnace can be easily miniaturized and has low heat dissipation, making it highly stealthy. Additionally, the emitted GN particles can generate buoyancy [levitation, similar to anti-gravity] and can be used for both mech control and weapons. Level: Unknown.

Even without reading the explanation, He Moming knew from the name alone that the equipment he had drawn was extremely powerful. However, the next moment, He Moming almost cried. The world he was in and the world of Gundam 00 had completely different technological trees, with no commonality. Even if it could be researched, it would take a long time. For He Moming, this was a sin. Seeing such an excellent piece of equipment that he couldn't use, if he weren't in the captain's office, He Moming would have rolled on the floor and cried out: "Heaven is playing with me!!"

The door to the captain's office opened, and a soldier walked in.

"Roy Focker reporting."

He Moming looked at the soldier who walked in, with golden hair, a healthy tan, and a handsome face. This was the Roy Focker from the original story who tragically died in battle?

"Take that kid away. He's your subordinate from today on. And take him to see his celebrity girlfriend. She was crying and laughing over there just now. It was quite a sight." The captain said, pointing at He Moming with a hint of annoyance.

He Moming, hearing this, recalled his behavior while opening the chest, which the captain had apparently seen. After apologizing and saluting to ensure it wouldn't happen again, the two were kicked out of the captain's office.

"I am Roy Focker, the captain of the Skull Squadron. Your superior. I look forward to your training." Roy Focker extended his right hand and said with a smile.

"I am He Moming. Please guide me in the future." He Moming stood at attention and saluted.

"Don't be nervous. We're teammates from now on. We should get to know each other." Roy Focker smiled.

"Yes, Captain!"

"Ah, forget it. You newbies are just too nervous. Come on, I'll introduce you to a few people. They're your future teammates." Roy Focker pulled He Moming and walked away.
