Under Roy's introduction, He Moming quickly got along with the other teammates in the Skeleton Team. Especially because of the ambiguous scandal between He Moming and a very popular singer, he was teased by the team members many times on this matter.

The group walked out of the command center, joking and laughing, just as they were about to board the vehicle to head to the hangar. He Moming was drawn to a crowd not far to the left.

"Oh, it's said that a big star's agent unfortunately died in the previous attack. The star came here today to confirm the news. It looks like those are reporters who smelled a story," Kizaki Hayao (hereafter referred to as Hayao) followed He Moming's gaze and joked.

"Yeah, our great hero, are you going to save the damsel in distress again?" Mark Jenas put an arm around He Moming's shoulder and said slyly, following Hayao's tone. For a moment, He Moming was once again surrounded by his teammates.

"Cough, cough. That's enough. It looks like there's a situation over there. He Moming, if you want to go, go ahead. Oh, and here, this might come in handy." Captain Roy, seeing the reporters starting to stir, rescued He Moming from his teammates' teasing.

"Yes! Thank you, Captain!" He Moming took what Captain Roy handed him and saw that it was a business card. Before leaving, He Moming caught Captain Roy giving him a meaningful look.

"Alright, everyone, back to training. You were terrible earlier, letting the enemy in." After watching He Moming walk away, Roy turned to Ita Kaze and the others to scold them. Thus, in the midst of Ita Kaze and the others' groans, the domineering Roy led them into hellish training.

He Moming walked to the back of the crowd, his gaze sweeping back and forth. Everywhere he looked, there were cameras, big and small, and a mess of professional interview equipment with flashlights, and faces filled with desire for the prey about to appear. Seeing the layers upon layers of reporters, He Moming was momentarily at a loss, unable to find any way forward.

"Excuse me, are you He Moming?" As He Moming was frantically trying to find a breakthrough, a voice sounded from behind.

"Ah, yes, I am. Who are you?" He Moming turned around and saw a black-skinned woman. The black-skinned woman was looking him over with a scrutinizing gaze.

"Hello! I'm Claudia. Are you trying to get inside?" The black-skinned woman, who introduced herself as Claudia, pointed to the entrance surrounded by reporters.

"Yes, but it seems impossible to get in right now." He Moming nodded and then smiled bitterly.

"Then, would you like me to show you the way? I know another route." Claudia blinked her eyes and said with a mischievous smile.

"Oh... really? That's great. Thank you very much!" He Moming exclaimed in surprise.

Due to the volume of He Moming's voice, it attracted the attention of some reporters. More and more gazes swept over from the crowd. To avoid being surrounded, Claudia, without a word, pulled He Moming in another direction.

Led by Claudia, they passed through several automatic doors, turning left and right several times, until Claudia finally stopped in front of a door.

"Hmm, it looks like this is the place. As the one being helped, you should give something in return," Claudia looked around and then turned to block the door, saying to He Moming.

"..." He Moming was momentarily at a loss.

"Sigh, why are soldiers always so slow to react? Come on, what's your relationship with that big star?" Claudia sighed in frustration and then asked.

"..." He Moming was stunned for a moment and then said, "I'm not sure."

"Unbelievable! You go in. Do you remember the way here? When you leave, go that way; no one should be guarding it. I can't stand it, you're all so slow!" Claudia sighed repeatedly and walked away.

Watching Claudia walk away, He Moming stood quietly in front of the door. He raised his hand several times to knock but couldn't bring himself to do it. The seven days they spent together were very beautiful, but after being rescued, they were from two different worlds. The most important thing for He Moming now was to survive, to live on, and to uncover the truth about his穿越异时空. However, from the moment he saw Lin Mingmei, his heart always unconsciously leaned towards her, a fact he himself had not noticed. Finally, as He Moming mustered the courage to knock on the door, it opened, and the beautiful face that had captivated him appeared from behind the door.

"He Moming, Mr. He." The girl was surprised to see He Moming standing at the door without knocking.

"Don't call me Mr." He Moming responded.

Unexpectedly, the two looked at each other for a moment and then laughed together. Lin Mingmei moved aside to let He Moming into the room. He Moming looked around and saw that Lin Mingmei's room was a standard single officer's bedroom.

"Oh, this is because I'm assisting with some investigations about the attack. So, I'm temporarily staying here. But it's fine. The investigation will be over soon. In a few hours, I can go back," Lin Mingmei explained, seeing He Moming's wandering gaze.

"Investigation? So, you know about your agent?" He Moming sat down on the sofa opposite Lin Mingmei and looked up at her.

"Yes, I know," Lin Mingmei responded, her mood low.

"Um, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up," He Moming realized he had said the wrong thing when he saw her expression.

"No, it's okay. It's something that couldn't be helped. If it weren't for you, I might have died too," Lin Mingmei clasped her hands and said softly, her head bowed.

"That was yesterday. The most important thing is that you're still alive, right? I remember you said you love singing. Can you still sing now?" He Moming was deeply concerned by Lin Mingmei's low spirits.

"Sing? Can I still sing? I've always followed the schedule and my agent's arrangements to attend various events and perform on stage. I don't know anything else about activities or stages besides singing," Lin Mingmei bowed her head, and a few tears fell from under her bangs, landing on her thumb.

Seeing this, He Moming felt even more distressed. Suddenly, he remembered that Captain Roy had given him a card before he left, saying it might be useful. Could it be that Captain Roy knew about this situation and had made some arrangements? He Moming immediately took the card out of his pocket and examined it. As he had suspected, he stood up, reached out to take Lin Mingmei's hands, and without a word, walked out of the room.

"Mo... Moming, what are you doing?" Lin Mingmei was startled by He Moming's hurried actions.

"I have a plan. You don't need to worry about an agent. You just need to sing," He Moming said loudly, waving the card in his hand.

"Eh?"

"Don't ask. Just come with me."

And so, He Moming led Lin Mingmei by the hand, passing through door after door and crossing intersection after intersection. Of course, before leaving the road, he made sure to put a hat and large sunglasses on Lin Mingmei. After walking for a while, He Moming led Lin Mingmei to a tall building. After checking the card and the street sign, he confirmed that they had reached the right place and led Lin Mingmei into the building.

"Wait! Moming! What are you doing?" Lin Mingmei finally burst out after being dragged along for a long distance.

"An agent. I'm going to find you a new agent," He Moming said with a smile, showing her the card.

"Eh? An agent? Where are we going? So suddenly," Lin Mingmei asked, taking the card with a puzzled look.

"You'll see." He Moming walked to the reception desk, gave his name, and, after receiving a response, led Lin Mingmei into the elevator.

"What does this card say? It's just an address," Lin Mingmei asked, looking at the card He Moming had given her several times.

"Relax, relax. I won't lie to you. I just found out about this myself, but I trust the person who gave me the card," He Moming patted Lin Mingmei's shoulder. Seeing this, Lin Mingmei had no choice but to accept it.

The elevator opened, and He Moming and Lin Mingmei walked out, arriving at the reception desk of their destination. After giving their names, the receptionist led them to a reception room. There, someone was already waiting. It was a beautiful woman exuding a mature and intelligent aura, dressed in a professional OL outfit, with long golden hair tied up in a high bun and wearing rimless glasses... This woman radiated a fatal attraction to the opposite sex.

"Welcome! Please have a seat," the beautiful woman stood up and greeted He Moming and Lin Mingmei. After they sat down, she began to introduce herself.

"My name is Grace ****. I am a top agent at Caeus Entertainment. I already know why you're here. To be honest, signing a popular singer like Lin Mingmei is a very important opportunity for our company. If Miss Lin Mingmei is interested, we can proceed with the signing and the press conference shortly," Grace said straightforwardly, without any formalities.

"Eh? Signing? Right now? I..." Lin Mingmei was momentarily at a loss. He Moming was also stunned by the mature beauty's sudden attack. The scene became silent for a moment.

"Hehe, sorry, I scared you." Grace seemed satisfied with the effect of her sudden attack and laughed softly.

"You really scared me. Especially Mingmei, she's still in shock." He Moming looked at Lin Mingmei, who was still in a daze. It seemed she wasn't ready. So, he decided to help as much as he could.

"Mingmei, I didn't expect you two to be so... friendly. It seems what he told me was true," Grace's gaze swept back and forth between He Moming and Lin Mingmei.

"Can you tell us more about the signing?" He Moming, not wanting any more surprises, got straight to the point.

"Oh, don't worry. I was just joking earlier. Here is the contract. You can take it home and read it carefully. When you've made a decision, come back to sign it," Grace pulled out a document from under the table and handed it to He Moming.

"Is it okay to take it home? Isn't this a business secret, like the compensation and profit sharing?" He Moming asked, taking the document.

"Ha... hahaha. What are you thinking, young man? Don't worry. It's fine. I trust you and I trust Lin Mingmei," Grace laughed at He Moming's words.

Just as He Moming was about to say something, he was pulled by Lin Mingmei.

"Miss Grace, thank you for your time today. I will consider the signing carefully. We'll take our leave now," Lin Mingmei said goodbye to Grace and then pulled He Moming out of the reception room.

"What an interesting pair. If I had been like this back then, perhaps..." Grace watched the door close and couldn't help but think.
