In the midst of cherry blossoms dancing in the wind, Misaki opened the old diary and read the words of promise written there.

Xiaoming stood at the classroom door, took a deep breath, and firmly gripped the secret letter from his mother.

Unable to resist, Liu Rui'an gave the alien who had just become his loyal subordinate a nickname, "Goat." After all, in Liu Rui'an's eyes, the alien's appearance was too similar to that of a goat, especially the eyebrows and the face shape. Who knew if this alien wasn't really a "Goat Alien."

After confirmation by the newly joined "Goat," the terrain, landscape, and biological forms shown in the images indeed matched the abandoned planet Morag very well.

With a specific location, the next step was to find a way to get there and obtain the cosmic sphere containing the Power Stone before Star-Lord received the related mission.

At this point, having a wealthy subordinate had obvious advantages. After spending a substantial amount of star coins, a spaceship identical to the Milano, which Star-Lord piloted, was already parked in the Xandar starport.

Meanwhile, as another goal of his long journey to Xandar, the interstellar map was also obtained smoothly. Although this civilian interstellar map couldn't compare to the military maps used by the Xandarian military, it was sufficient for Liu Rui'an for the time being.

If not for the tight schedule, obtaining a military map or even a more detailed interstellar map would not have been a problem for "Goat," who specialized in "broker" business.

With the exact interstellar coordinates and a means of transportation, Liu Rui'an naturally wouldn't waste any more time. After having "Goat" prepare a temporary identity and transfer a large sum of money, Liu Rui'an piloted the spaceship toward the abandoned planet Morag.

Before leaving, Liu Rui'an didn't forget to have his new subordinate gather information about Star-Lord, Yondu, Rocket, Groot, and Ronan through his original channels. Additionally, he asked if there was any technology related to artificial stars or similar technologies.

During his month in Asgard, Liu Rui'an, who had been fighting with Thor, had consumed a lot of energy absorbed from the Kryptonian body. As he was about to take the first step in his journey through the cosmos, maintaining his peak condition became the primary issue to resolve.

"Master, we have arrived at the planet Morag."

Liu Rui'an, who was sitting cross-legged and floating in the spaceship cabin, opened his eyes. The "scales" that had been orbiting his body like a planet instantly flew toward the dark golden longsword floating in front of him.

Soon, the already wide broadsword became even wider.

This sword was one of the conditions for returning the Cosmic Cube to the All-Father Odin.

Of course, for Odin, this sword was not a condition but a favor granted to someone as the All-Father.

Liu Rui'an didn't care about the concept of favor; he just wanted something good.

Indeed, this dark golden giant sword, inspired by Liu Rui'an and designed by the Star Spirits, was very satisfactory after its creation.

At first, Liu Rui'an was worried that his requirements were too high. After all, this sword, provisionally named "Dragon Scale," could be considered a "magic weapon" to some extent.

The sword's width, similar to a door, was fine, but the layers of scales covering the blade were not just for decoration.

Under the influence of无形念力 (invisible mental power), the "dragon scales" on the blade would transform into highly lethal projectiles.

Actually, it would be more accurate to call these scales miniature "flying swords."

On the journey from Xandar to the abandoned planet Morag, Liu Rui'an continuously familiarized himself with this giant sword, which was said to have been specially crafted by the dwarves of Nidavellir before he left Asgard.

It had to be admitted that the dwarves, one of the Nine Realms, had a unique advantage in forging. They could create Thor's hammer and the Destroyer, so a giant sword with some additional functions was no problem at all.

With a thought, Liu Rui'an sheathed the giant sword and checked how much time had passed. He couldn't help but comment:

"Everyone says cultivation has no sense of time, but I haven't even started cultivating yet, and I already have this feeling."

A mental transmission appeared on the bridge, and Liu Rui'an, looking out the window at the massive planet, wore an expression of joy, anticipating a "big harvest."

After all, in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, the most valuable things at the moment were the six Infinity Stones.

Even though the setting of the Infinity Stones in the movies had deviated from the comic background, it couldn't be denied that the value of these six stones was still incredibly high.

Not to mention the Power Stone, which could easily destroy an entire planet, even the scepter with the Mind Stone that Liu Rui'an had obtained had immense value.

Those who had been brainwashed by the scepter displayed superhuman intelligence far beyond their original capabilities.

Not only were they loyal, but they also greatly contributed to research work.

However, Liu Rui'an knew that the Power Stone was indeed valuable, but it wasn't something that could be used immediately. The risk of using it was also significant.

Otherwise, in the original plot of "Guardians of the Galaxy," the purple-skinned woman enslaved by the Collector wouldn't have been instantly reduced to ashes by the Power Stone.

Since he had already obtained some information about the former civilization of Morag from "Goat" before arriving, Liu Rui'an didn't spend much time finding the ruins where Star-Lord discovered the cosmic sphere in the original plot.

Seeing the remnants of a once-advanced alien civilization now reduced to ruins, and the planet no longer suitable for intelligent life due to harsh weather, Liu Rui'an couldn't help but sigh:

"Destroying is indeed easier than building. Such a large planet, such an advanced civilization, and it's all gone."

Allowing the Star Spirit's sub-body to find a metal-rich area and start construction, Liu Rui'an put on his angelic armor and flew to the ruins of the city.

Using the map he had obtained and the assistance of mechanical insects to scan the surroundings, Liu Rui'an quickly arrived at the entrance of the chamber where the cosmic sphere was stored.

Admiring the artistic and mysterious patterns carved on the massive stone door, Liu Rui'an didn't even consider trying to solve the lock like Star-Lord. Instead, he punched the door directly.

Although the energy absorbed from the stars in Asgard and the numerous sparring sessions with Thor had consumed a lot, Liu Rui'an's strength was still far beyond what the stone door could withstand.

With a "bang," the door shattered into pieces and dust, which quickly settled under the influence of his mental power.

"Beautiful!" Liu Rui'an said to himself, looking at the metal sphere on the stone platform inside the chamber.

To avoid wasting time, Liu Rui'an didn't hesitate. Another punch turned the platform into rubble and dust, and the sphere flew into his hand like a bird returning to its nest.

Suppressing the urge to crush the sphere and extract the Power Stone, Liu Rui'an placed the cosmic sphere in the storage compartment of his angelic armor and didn't linger. He left the scene to the mechanical insects, which were scanning the environment and collecting samples to send back to the Star Spirit for analysis.

When he returned to the spaceship, Liu Rui'an found that a batch of intelligent mechanical bodies had already been manufactured and were setting up a temporary camp.

Liu Rui'an wasn't surprised by the Star Spirit's arrangements. Before coming to Morag, he had already planned to make use of this abandoned planet.

Unlike the solar system, the star system where Xandar was located had a highly developed interstellar civilization.

In such a situation, occupying a planet as a base wasn't easy. After all, Liu Rui'an didn't really want to conquer the cosmos.

Even if he did, it wouldn't be now. Not only was the Kree race a formidable opponent, but Ronan, who had Thanos backing him, was even more challenging. Without knowing the true strength of this major villain, Liu Rui'an decided to keep a low profile.

Morag, being an abandoned planet, wouldn't normally have anyone visiting, making it the perfect place for low-profile development.

Moreover, the planet might still have more remnants of civilization, given that the cosmic sphere had been preserved until now. The planet was also home to many aggressive creatures, such as the massive, snake-like beasts below the cliffs, and the harsh climate made it unsuitable for normal life. Establishing a base that wouldn't be easily discovered was ideal.

After communicating with the Star Spirit's sub-body on the spaceship, Liu Rui'an began preparing for the next phase of his journey.

He had spent almost a month in Asgard, and the timing was just right.

...

In the underground base of the Hoover Dam, the massive cube that had fallen to Earth around 10,000 years ago began to shrink rapidly upon contact with a yellow robot.

"Oh my God!!" Mikaela Banes, covering her mouth with her hands, exclaimed in shock.

The others, whether it was the protagonist Sam Witwicky and the Secretary of Defense, who were seeing the true face of the Hoover Dam for the first time, or the Section 7 staff who had been studying the massive cube for a long time, all wore similar expressions of shock. (To be continued...)
