He only remembered after he took several steps that the phone in the living room didn't even ring today- it was truly a bad lie.

Glancing back at Shu Nian, he was sitting alone in the living room and he only dressed in a thin shirt that made his body curled due to coldness as his shoulders hunched forward. He looked awfully frail.

The day Shu Nian would go abroad finally arrived and the weather was still cold. For the past few days, Shu Nian always lowered his eyes and his shoulder was slightly shrunk. He was very quiet. He didn't get excited or garrulous when it was almost the time for him to leave. He just quietly helped the old driver to load the luggage into the car. Biting his thin lips, his movements were quite clumsy.

Xie Yan leaned against the door and looked at Shu Nian's frail back. Shu Nian's side profile showed a lack of composure. His hollowed cheeks could occasionally be seen and the muscle on his pale neck would distort when he turned his head slightly. Xie Yan's chest tightened the more he looked at Shu Nian. He got annoyed and lit a cigarette.

His addiction to smoking had begun to become worst recently.

"I'll go first." After loading the luggage, Shu Nian walked towards Xie Yan and did a gesture. The gesture was actually a respectful bow. Xie Yan stubbed out the cigarette after he took a few puff.

"Okay, be careful on the road. I wouldn't send you to the airport." Xie Yan felt uncomfortable, extremely uncomfortable. He had thought of accompanying Shu Nian on the departing day, but he dismissed the idea when he suddenly felt irritate.
