After closing his turtle stall, Su Zhe pushed his cart to a nearby small restaurant and ordered some food casually.
With his stomach growling, he ate several large bowls of rice before the hunger subsided. His divine power also fully recovered to its original 80 points. He realized that as long as his divine power had not fully recovered, he could eat as much as he wanted. This made him think that if he ever had trouble making a living, he could participate in a competitive eating contest and would likely win the championship.
After eating his fill, he pushed the small cart and slowly walked home.
Upon returning home, he put away the items from his stall and then went to check if the golden-headed box turtles in the storage box had hatched.
As expected, all six golden-headed box turtles had hatched and looked very healthy, actively crawling around in the soil.
Su Zhe measured them briefly. Each golden-headed box turtle had a carapace length of about 40mm and weighed around 12 grams. Without precise measuring tools, he could only make a rough estimate. However, Su Zhe didn't need to be overly accurate; a general idea was enough.
After some thought, Su Zhe decided to raise the golden-headed box turtles in water. He picked up all six of them, then emptied the soil from the storage box. After washing the box, he poured a little water into it and finally placed the turtles inside.
The water was very shallow, just barely covering the carapaces of the golden-headed box turtles. The six turtles quickly adapted to their new aquatic environment. Su Zhe observed them for a while and, seeing no adverse reactions, decided to keep them in the water for the time being.
He turned to look at the small grass turtle on his computer desk and noticed that the one he had picked up was staring at him blankly. He wasn't sure if it was an illusion, but Su Zhe felt that the grass turtle's eyes were filled with longing. He could sense that the grass turtle was eager to leave the glass aquarium.
It made sense. When he first found the grass turtle, it was very small, and the small aquarium was sufficient. Now, after absorbing divine power in the morning, not only had the grass turtle been saved, but it had also grown significantly.
The small aquarium was now too small for the grown grass turtle, leaving it with little room to move.
Seeing the grass turtle's discomfort in the small aquarium, Su Zhe picked it up and placed it in the storage box, planning to raise it with the golden-headed box turtles. The storage box had plenty of space, and Su Zhe believed it would be no problem to raise six golden-headed box turtles and one grass turtle together.
After placing it in the box, it was clear that the grass turtle was much happier. Su Zhe observed that the grass turtle did not actively attack the golden-headed box turtles, so he felt comfortable keeping them together.
"You guys mustn't fight; you need to get along. Understand?" Su Zhe didn't care if they could understand him. After saying this, he brought some turtle food and poured some into the storage box.
Both the grass turtle and the golden-headed box turtles were not picky eaters. As soon as they saw the turtle food, they all rushed to eat it, much to Su Zhe's satisfaction. In no time, the seven turtles had finished all the turtle food, eating it clean. The grass turtle, being larger and stronger, ate the most.
After finishing the turtle food, the seven turtles still looked at Su Zhe with longing, as if they knew he had more food. Both the Chinese grass turtle and the golden-headed box turtles seemed to be much smarter after absorbing divine power, in addition to being stronger than ordinary turtles.
Unable to resist their pitiful eyes, Su Zhe felt guilty and threw in some more turtle food. He didn't dare to put in too much, fearing that the turtles would overeat.
Seeing that they were full, Su Zhe transferred a bit of divine power to the six golden-headed box turtles, hoping to accelerate their growth. He observed that the grass turtle and the golden-headed box turtles coexisted peacefully, which put him at ease.
Su Zhe took some clothes and had a comfortable shower. After returning to his room, he sat on the bed and began to reflect on the events of the day.
He had obtained the system and exchanged for golden-headed box turtle eggs. He was late for work and was fired by the flower shop owner. He received the grass turtle and went to sell turtles at a stall. If he hadn't obtained the system today, he would have been very unlucky, losing his job and thus his stable source of income.
Losing his job was already a source of great distress. He thought selling the grass turtle would help, but it unexpectedly lost its vitality and nearly died. If not for his divine power, he wouldn't have just saved the grass turtle but also gained 2 points and made a small profit.
Thus, divine power was very useful, and with it, many things could be accomplished. To enhance his divine power, he needed to first exercise his body, improve his physical condition, and increase his physical strength.
Su Zhe assumed a stance and slowly began practicing a set of boxing techniques on his bed. At first, his movements were slow and clumsy. As Su Zhe continued to practice tirelessly, his movements became more fluid. The divine power he had expended gradually recovered, and Su Zhe felt increasingly energetic.
This was the first time Su Zhe had practiced this set of boxing techniques.
The boxing technique was part of a physical training method that came with the system, the first of eighteen forms. The physical training method was highly beneficial for improving physical fitness and strength. Besides the first form, the other seventeen forms required corresponding physical conditions to practice.
Immersed in the boxing technique, he began to subconsciously mobilize the divine power within his body. He guided the divine power to flow through his body with the boxing technique. The originally continuous movements slowed down. The boxing technique, which had become increasingly easy, became extremely strenuous with the addition of divine power.
Su Zhe's fair face turned red, and sweat rolled down like beads.
He felt as if his entire body was being burned by a fierce fire, intensely hot. Each movement required immense willpower to complete. Every action made every muscle in Su Zhe's body tremble, and he gritted his teeth, determined not to stop.
The divine power within his body was also rapidly consumed. Before he had completed half of the boxing technique, his divine power was already depleted. Su Zhe reached his limit and fell onto the bed, falling into a coma due to the exhaustion of his divine power.
