First of all, the place didn’t look like a symposium. Secondly, the rest of the lawyers who came to the meeting were casually dressed. Obviously, it was just a symposium on the character development of lawyers but both men and women were casually dressed. As a man, Qian Heng did not look too strange in formal clothes but for Cheng Yao, she stood out from the crowd…

Today, every law firm has two lawyers, one man and one woman so our ratio of male to female lawyers is exactly one-to-one.”

The old aunt looked around with a smile: “We strive for each lawyer to know one another first so in the following session, each male lawyer will have a three-minute Q&A chat with each female lawyer. During those three minutes, the two can increase their mutual understanding such as asking about their concept of love and choosing a spouse and even discuss legal cases to see if their values are consistent. As soon as it hits three minutes, our timekeeper will remind everyone to move forward to the next person to chat. After we finish, the lawyers who are willing to chat further can continue to chat in private.”

Cheng Yao secretly peeked at Qian Heng who was standing next to her. While the introduction of the event was being made, his face was getting darker and darker…

She had to admit that even if his face was gloomy, Qian Heng’s appearance was still really good. In a group of male lawyers, he could be described as “the posture of heaven and man”1. At first glance, Qian Heng’s handsome face and straight figure simply carried the aura of the male protagonist of a shoddy drama series. The crew was on a tight budget and only had enough money to hire a good looking lead actor, who would only make the rest of the supporting actors who stood beside him ashamed.

Although, in the industry he was called “cancer“, most people had not been in contact with Qian Heng. They might have felt the word “cancer” to be somewhat exaggerated.

Cheng Yao sighed in her heart. Friends, you are all too naive! Qian Heng will soon let you know what it really means to know people; know the face but not the heart! A good face does not mean a good heart! Poison can only be poisonous!

“Then below, I’ll have to trouble the male lawyers and female lawyers to stand in a line face to face and sit in order. We’re going to start!”

Cheng Yao didn’t want to be face to face with Qian Heng. She suddenly rushed to sit diagonally to Qian Heng. She didn’t know when but a beautifully dressed female lawyer stood opposite of Qian Heng. The other party was obviously prepared. The make-up was exquisite, she was wearing a red dress which showed off her figure, she was wearing small black heels and had voluminous curly hair. She gave off amorous feelings with an outgoing and bold personality.

“Hello, what kind of legal business do you do?”

Opposite Cheng Yao was a shy male lawyer. He smiled nervously and found a topic to talk about. Cheng Yao also smiled amiably. It was a ‘you ask me and I answer’ type of situation.

Unfortunately, the male lawyer was too introverted. Cheng Yao and he soon ran out of things to talk about. The two awkwardly looked at each other. Fortunately, Qian Heng, the star player in the next group, saved their embarrassment…

Compared with Cheng Yao’s dull group, Qian Heng’s group was much more lively.

Cheng Yao and the male lawyer quite tacitly eavesdropped on Qian Heng’s group.

“Lawyer Qian, what kind of girls do you like?”

“90, 60, 90.”

“What?”
