No one was to wander outside the dormitory after midnight.
Everyone must be in their respective rooms when the prison guards made their rounds.
These were the two iron-clad laws of the prison. Anyone who violated them would be punished. The least severe form of punishment was being tied to the high platform in the assembly hall and flogged in public. The most severe punishment had not yet been executed.
The surveillance system had been destroyed when Li Xiao had escaped, so the first law was unenforceable, but the second one was still in effect.
That night, Bai Zhi returned to the room adjacent to Zhao Zixun’s to wait for the aforementioned “roll call.”
The past few days had been so chaotic, she barely had room to breathe. Now, she can finally sit down and collect her thoughts.
Just who had arranged for her kidnapping and then disposed of her in here?
She had led a simple, honest life. Most of the people within her immediate acquaintances were small-time office clerks like her. They wouldn’t even know of the existence of such a prison. She had never made any enemies in the past, nor could she think anyone who would benefit from kidnapping her… Unless they knew that standing behind her was the big tree1 that was the Bai family. She was always alone, so kidnapping her would have been a piece of cake. It would have been a waste not to take this opportunity to extort a large sum of money.
She sighed softly.
Aside from this, she couldn’t imagine any other possibility, but, if this were true, the kidnapper should have contacted her brother already. With his abilities, he should have found and rescued her by now. Yet she still hasn’t seen a single sign indicating that he’s on the move… He must not know that she has been kidnapped.
There was one other possibility, which was that she has been drawn into some kind of dark and evil game.
Bai Zhi trembled at the thought.
She had been reflecting on the existence of “numbers” and what it meant. It frightened her, especially after seeing the pity reflected in Doctor Ye’s eyes when she revealed that she didn’t know about the existence of numbers or what hers was. Maybe it’s because she hid her background too well, which gave people the idea that taking advantage of her would have no repercussions…
Who would throw a weak and powerless woman into a deadly all men’s prison? And for what purpose?
Compared to being an ignorant pawn in a wicked game, she would rather be a destitute hostage. Although she had never believed in God in the past, she couldn’t help secretly praying for the latter to be true.
The temperature in the evenings was very low, and her single shift felt too thin. She clutched the wide collar together and actually missed Zhao Zixun’s body heat next to her. In order to stay warm, she quietly paced around the room. She opened the curtains letting the luminescent moonlight spill in. It covered the darkly lit room in a frosty sheen.
A hazy figure appeared outside the window, and someone rapped on the door three times. It was Di Qing and Lu Ye. They walked in casually and closed the door.
“Long time no see, Bai Zhi.” Lu Ye gave her a toothy grin. He stepped forward and hugged her fiercely. The short stubble along his jaw scraped against the soft skin of her neck and shoulder. “I missed you.”
Di Qing’s expression was stern, but there was a trace of amusement in his cold eyes.
“Well, I—” I didn’t miss you. The picture of the three of them entangled in the main control room surfaced in her mind. Bai Zhi flushed and broke free from Lu Ye’s bear hug. She tried to change the subject, “Have you… apprehended the murderer?”
“Li Xiao is gone, so the murderer is unknown,” Lu Ye replied, “Stay put for the next few days.”
“Okay,” she nodded; she didn’t know what else to say.
Di Qing, who had been silent this entire time, suddenly spoke up, “Tell me, what are we here for?”
Bai Zhi was taken aback, uncomprehending, “Roll call?”
“Mhm,” Di Qing nodded with a straight face, “Cooperate with the roll call. Lie down on the bed and spread your legs.”
“You perform roll calls like this?” The image of Zhao Zixun lying on his bed in front of Di Qing and Lu Ye with his legs apart popped into Bai Zhi’s head. The image was so incredulous, she wanted to laugh.
“What are you thinking about?” Lu Ye tapped her forehead with a finger then gently pushed her shoulder. She squeaked in surprise as she fell backward, but unexpectedly, she tumbled onto the soft mattress of her small bed.
“Can’t you show a little more restraint?” Di Qing muttered under his breath.
“I can’t. Next time you can go first and call me after you’re done playing with her.” Lu Ye separated her legs, grabbed her uniform, and slowly pushed it up. He pushed it past her flat, pliant waist, and watched as her rounded breasts bounce out deliciously from under the confines of her clothes. The uniform was pushed all the way to her arms until it gathered in a messy bundle around the handcuffs encircling her wrists. Her hands were securely restrained above her head.
Lu Ye grabbed both breasts with his hands and began to slurp away at her nipple.
Bai Zhi felt like everything was moving too fast.
She cried out, her voice was soft and charming. She wriggled her naked body restlessly. Her bare legs were wrapped around Lu Ye’s uniform-clad waist. Lu Ye squeezed her breasts harder; his fingers sank her soft flesh.
Di Qing’s eyes darkened as he watched her body shake. Slowly, he walked forward and caressed her dainty face with his large hand. He lowered his head to tease her other nipple.
“The image of Zhao Zixun lying on his bed in front of Di Qing and Lu Ye with his legs apart popped into Bai Zhi’s head.”
On that note…
Until next time my lovelies. Mwah!
