A long while later, Di Qing took a half-step back and finally let her go.
“Look how wet the sofa’s become!” Di Qing laughed out like sunlight spilling through an open window. In fact, he’s a very handsome man, he just doesn’t smile much and always gave off a brooding, impenetrable feel.
Bai Zhi’s face flushed.
“If you ever need anything, just come to the main control room to find me.” Di Qing pulled out a tissue and slowly wiped down the gun covered in unmentionable fluids.
“When you do come looking for me though, just be prepared to pay the price.”
Bai Zhi changed into the prison uniform that Lu Ye brought over. The uniform was a thin, light grey-colored, one-piece shift with a wide neckline. It was made of a soft material that hung loosely around her to just below her knees.
Lu Ye spoke, “This is a men’s prison. We only have men’s uniforms and boxers. You just tried on the smallest pair we have and it didn’t fit, so……”
Bai Zhi’s face paled and she bit her lip, looking every bit the damsel in distress.
Di Qing gently stroked her cheek and used his hand to check her forehead temperature. “What’s wrong? You don’t look so good.”
“This place… is it really a men’s prison?”
Di Qing and Lu exchanged a glance and smirked, “It’s a little too late to be asking us that.”
“Then where do I eat? Where do I sleep? Where do I wash? How many people are there here? …And these people… they’re all men?”
“You’ll know when you’re inside,” Di Qing said.
“Please, I’m begging you. Help me contact my brother. Let him take me out of here!”
“That’s not possible,” Di Qing replied.
Bai Zhi’s legs gave out— she slumped to the floor, her body shaking violently.
“Bai Zhi,” Lu Ye spoke in a solemn tone, “Right now, you have no other options.”
Di Qing and Lu Ye sandwiched Bai Zhi between themselves and walked into a long and dark corridor. All she could see at the end of the tunnel was blinding light.
It was an empty field and with a few squat buildings next to it. Bai Zhi raised her head and looked around. She saw sturdy, barbed fences surrounding the entire facility. They stood so tall that even the skies were sealed off— birds would have a hard time flying out of here.
“Don’t try to touch those fences. Sometimes they’re electrified. It will hurt.” Lu Ye said with a smirk.
A figure appeared in front of them. He wore a white coat and stood with a very straight posture. Di Qing and Lu Ye greeted him.
Bai Zhi hastily hid behind Lu Ye.
“A newcomer?” came the frigid, aloof tone of one who didn’t care.
“Yes, Dr. Ye. She* hasn’t gotten used to it yet here. We’ll visit you when we get a chance next time.” Di Qing responded nonchalantly.
*[In Chinese, the characters for he, she and it all have the same pronunciation, so it’s impossible to distinguish gender in speech without context. In the original text, it’s implied that Di Qing was nonchalant to avoid suspicion. The doc probably didn’t get a good look at her.]
The man seemingly nodded without taking a second glance at Bai Zhi, and walked into the same corridor they had just come out of.
“That was Ye Xiao, the doctor appointed to the prison,” Di Qing said. “If you ever feel unwell anywhere, you can go find him, but… it’s best if you don’t.” Di Qing’s eyes swept across the pale, delicate skin exposed by her uniform with meaning, his mouth curling into a sneer.
Bai Zhi bit her lip and pulled her collar closer together.
Within the time they spoke, they had already taken the elevator up to the third floor. Bai Zhi had the innermost cell in the block. From the elevator, they had to walk past two other, tightly closed doors.
“This is your cell. There is no key.” Di Qing said. “Do you need us to walk you around to familiarize yourself with the prison environment?”
Bai Zhi shook her head, she just wanted to be by herself for a while. If this really was a men’s prison, then she feared that, in this entire place, she was probably the one and only female… she couldn’t even bring herself to imagine what could happen, never mind walk around carefreely.
“Then we’ll take our leave. In the future, we will come to check the cell every seven days. The handcuffs will come off the next time we see you. Of course, you can come find me in the main control room yourself,” Di Qing said.
“What do you need to do when you say goodbye?” Lu Ye asked.
Two pairs of predatory eyes locked in on her. Bai Zhi took a half-step back at a loss.
“Come here,” Di Qing ordered in a low voice.
Bai Zhi stood motionless. Lu Ye gave her a small shove from behind so that she stood in front of Di Qing. Di Qing lifted her chin and stared down at her tender mouth. His icy-cold lips pressed down while his fiery tongue charged in and conquered. Behind her, Lu Ye clasped her waist and grazed the back of her neck with his mouth. She felt bursts of numbing electricity coursing down her spine. One of his hands lifted the hem of her uniform. Disregarding her opposition, he began teasing her entrance, churning the viscous liquid.
“Wuu…” Her two hands tried hard to push Di Qing away, but he didn’t budge one bit. Her sore legs clamped around Lu Ye’s hand, but she couldn’t stop his vicious fingers from digging even deeper.
Some time later, they finally let her go. She collapsed into Di Qing’s chest— her cheeks were flushed crimson, her uniform was covered in wrinkles, and her hair was scattered down her back.
Lu Ye thrust his wet fingers into her mouth and forced her to lick them clean.
“Take good care of yourself, don’t—” Di Qing’s hoarse voice broke off. “Don’t get eaten and cleaned out too quickly.”
Bai Zhi gave a slight shudder.
“Okay, time’s up, get in.” Lu Ye patted her bottom and watched her escape into her room.
